This is so professional!! I never thought the author used Death to somehow prevail Liesel’s powerful words by saving them. So insightful

The undeniable beauty and power of words is such a touching aspect that even Death respects in The Book Thief. The scene where Max paints over Mein Kamph is so impactful, the act of stealing back words through the means of love and friendship. I miss World Lit class so much!

I read this book a few years ago and cried while doing so. Watching the video reminded me of the powerful message and amazing storytelling and my eyes teared up.

The way Zusak is able to take such a random part of someone's character and morph it into the device in which the central theme moves is amazing. This was such a nice and easy video to listen too as well :)

I really love when you said about the scene where Liesal steals the book from the fire. It gives a whole new different meaning to the scene and also the perspective. It's like Liesal is actually helping the book and doing an act of kindness in saving the book fro the evilness and dark side! The whole video has such a nice tone to listen to!

I really like how you’ve captured really interesting and significant events throughout the whole storyline without making the summary too stretched out or boring. The incorporation of quotes from the novel also adds an interesting touch to the video. The narration and visual effects of the video flow so nicely together as well!

Your word choice, tone of voice, and videos matches very well, which helps me know how important the power of words are in our life!

I really like how you included both the movie and the book in order to show how The Book Thief develops its theme. Before watching this video, I have never thought about the "power of words" as being so important, but now I understand what Zusak is trying to tell his readers.

I love this video, Mr. Mark! It’s so cool! The content, the narration, the video clips, the transitions. Wow! I love how you really connected the “power of words” to so many aspects of The Book Thief. It’s so interesting how Zusak uses this as one of the key themes and so much of the entire story is revolved around it.

Talking about the power of words.... It reminds me of the word that turned into flesh and came down among us. However, people didn't realize the one. We need a ability to understand the word and realize the power of it.
