My small brain however tells me "Nah, keep mashing dodge and attack" lol
Practice discipline, focus on parry first to knock bosses out, and then start to mash buttons when it is down
@@Snowhaletheayakamain that works fine in normal fights. But hologram challenges have a timer. The button mashing(if done patiently) is rewarding for them
That works until Holograms. The hardest content of this game doesnt care about spreadsheet dps. Master each boss and dps during the weakened window. Favors quick burst characters and ones with superior parries like Jianxin.
diff 5 and 6 just dps check anyways already soloed diff 4 mephist no hit run

Jianxin being used here fits so well, a martial arts master pulling off easy parries to teach their disciples

My problems are, however, more tied to ABC mentality. And I'm kinda sloppy, so learning how to deal big deeps and dodge/parry properly will take some time.
For my experience, its better to try not dealing damage first and focus solely on parry and dodging until the time run out, play lowest difficulty and 3 character that can parry, doesn't matter if they cant deal damage the purpose is to get used with the parry sistem, once you able to do that try to sneak in attack whenever you can and experiment with the boss, you be surprised how many opening for dps you actually get
You can also try that to the world bosses, there's no time limit there
yeah if u confident ur dps, parry to make him ddown then burst :v. of course for speed runner it must be attack with rythm

Well i like Rexlent because he is the only one that show you how to actually play the game, not like other youtuber just want to yap the heck out of it, as fast as possible to enjoy the short moment of the reward and then feel bore.

Great tutorial on how to dodge & parry boss attacks! Sadly, I wanna do that smoothly too but it's so difficult. The signal in my area is really bad & sometimes the game lag. 😢

This is why jianxin is so broken. I dunno why many people slept on her when u can auto counter attack the 1 shot enemy attack. There r some attacks which is hard to find the timing to dodge and having jianxin makes it easier since u just need to hold her skill.
I main Jianxin and she is so fun to use you can bully the enemies with her Counter, I dunno with others maybe they don't like the fact that she doesn't deal much dmg but gameplay wise IMO she's GodTier.

@@wartialpanda8872i mean thats pretty much the problem, she lacks dmg. The current endgame is timegated meaning its a dps check(well you need skills but skills won't carry you if really lack dmg). And the most important thing to remember is, this is a gacha game so materials are heavily locked with time unless you swipe so characters that needs less investment to work will be more popular.
And before someone tell me im a meta slave, I'm mainly using Jianxin and haven't touched any endgame content yet. I can already feel she lacks the dmg tho, since she is my most invested character and it feels like my Yangyang deals and clears a bit faster 😂. Tho i must say, Jianxin is ez mode in OW content since i can go unga bunga when her shield is ip. I can even enjoy boss grab animation without worrying about dying

One thing i noticed about the dash parry is that it's easier to parry at mid distance because i think the distance of the animation is at play

This game gives me a DMC vibe like this bosses names like Tempest, Thundering, Crownless, Dreamless, and the Inferno Rider even the Resonator like Calcharo guy have ult like devil trigger.

The only thing that makes him harder when he summons clone at diff 4 and they attack not at the same time, but in sequence where there's no room to dodge both attacks.

Great guide Rex! It’s annoying how whenever fighting Mephis sometimes after parrying it starts looping the parry sound at high speed with the special effects all over my screen. Ruined quite a number good runs for me at diff 4😂

I think another tip for diff 4+, is that even when you break the resonance bar, and the boss is in a down state, the clone can still appears. That costed me a lot of runs for this boss.
Yeah, it's only gone when you break him at the time when the clone still there, but the clone will keep appearing before and after that.

I just seem so used to Punishing Gray Raven that I can't tap the buttons on my mobile without looking at them ..... My senses are adapted to pgr and the moment I lose focus I mistap the attack or dodge button

My only problem is the clone coz sometime its not on screen and just oneshot you or make you flinch then the main body finish you off 😑😑😑

Lvl70 hologram summons a clone. Always seem to wipe when clone does the wire field and the main body shoots a laser. Any tips?

4:00 thats weird, the clone not goes away in my case (after parrying the main Memphis), they still throwing tantrum so have to dodge their skills no matter what
My only problem was when he summoned clone, my camera was stuck on locking the real mephis, and i usually couldnt see what the clone doing
and the fact that if u parry clone even on accident ur jump and dash button gets disabled, and then u get 1 shot by him

You need to get used to hitting dodge just as he bends over.

The movesets are completely the same, just get good and react.
