Ippo is finally getting the love he deserves. Though I wasn't there when it first came out, I'm glad to have picked up on this spectacular series in 2014. I can't remember the TH-camr's name, but thanks to the user's "Top 5 Techniques in anime" video, I may not have sunk into this anime nor having the will and knowledge to workout. Fun fact: it was around the same year that I was going through a bet with my friend (Basically getting a six pack before a yearly event began). I may have lost, but Hajime No Ippo helped me get pretty close to my goal. I could gush about this anime, but this comment would probably turn into a movie script if I did. Bottom line, I'm glad Ippo is no longer an underrated anime and becoming more known these days.

The whole scene with both of them throwing everything they got, the crowd excited, the bgm, Ippo doing the question that marked him since the beginning of the series. Everything on this fight and in lollapalooza's arc it's just so poetic that it makes me cry everytime I reach this scene :' D

The execution from manga to anime its inner themes of self discovery. What it teaches in being a man. I also really like kenshin vs saito shishio arc. These two fights I rewatch more than any.

This is one of the best anime series I've ever seen, and it needs to get adapted again by MadHouse or, dare I dream, even Mappa. Every character in this series is impossible not to love, and I'll honestly start reading the manga just to see what happens after Rising finished a few years back. Top tier on every level!

This fight is literally Canelo-GGG 2 in terms of boxing, Neither fighter wanted to go down. Excluding how the two fights differed in the end, it just gave off that kind of vibe.

This is probably the best fight next to Takamura’s fights on the world stage. It really felt like it could have gone either way, and I would have been content with the outcome.
Freaking gives me goosebumps everytime. The anime is well made for what it is. Someone might dis it that its so "out of this world" boxing effects. But such effects is what gives you that OOMPF feeling and you really feel and get motivated to excercise too.!

He might get a realisation about his true strenght. I feel like Sendo is a sacrificial character to Ippo
Rn he still has the will to fight but in adifferent manner, He doesn't want to destroy his body as he has people who love him and need him aka: his mother. Still Wally is doing great rn
What I meant was that when he no longer had a chance of fighting Miyata, he lost his goal. He even gave up the japanese title to challenge the world but he didn't have a clear goal there. The match with Gonzalez broke him both mentally and physically, and losing to Guevara ultimately made him retire. And Wally did good for the first few rounds but he is going to be done for soon. Ricardo is wrecking his face.
