When I clicked the video I was expecting a simple "lofi-ing" of the original songs, slowed down with some reverb and distortion but you guys really made full on lo-fi songs from scratch based on the originals and gave them your own twist with some great sounds. That's a subscription from me, this was great!
You guys took the minty-bleak atmosphere of OK Computer and made it sound even more minty! This felt like recalling memories from an old friend, but in a slightly different light. Thank you for making this, hopefully you guys can make one for A Moon Shaped Pool, as well! ~ 💕✨
@@aliencakemusic , I thought kind of like a degraded tape effect with some record pops maybe in the way The Caretaker does in the early tracks of EATEOT. Possibly even a like glitchy speaker effect like its on an old recording device from years ago that has been damaged over time. Don't take this has a criticism to the piece as a whole it is by far amazing I just was kinda looking forward to see how fitter happier could be altered to kinda fit the whole lofi vibe. Excellent work either way ::edited:: i had an additional thought it could have been cool to make it glitch around so it makes it say random things that mean something entirely different or make no sense at all. kinda like Fitter, Not happy productive too much regular drinking at the gym days three weeks time getting regular on ease comfortable better..

How long did this take you? Did you work on it solo or as a team? What software do you use?
We’ve built these tracks over 2 years. Solo producer but a team of 2. I use ableton and we are proud to not sample anything…all made from scratch. 👽
