This song made me cry. I hate drugs and cigarettes. It messes people up in a way I can’t even describe it, there’s so much good people in this world who are destroyed by smoking and drugs.
As someone who comes from a family full of addicts and smokers. This is true, I've seen just how much drugs ruin lives. They destroy you mentally and physically, you get turned into a husk and all you care about is how to get your next fix. You don't care about who you hurt or who you fuck over. It's horrible, and they can't get help because our fucking justice system punishes them instead of trying to help them. It creates a cycle of use. Addicts get treated as less than human by cops, they get punished. They start spiraling they keep using, it's disgusting. And I genuinely wish ill will to the pieces of shit who make and deal that shit. Because their greed ruins thousands of lives. I especially wish ill will on the ones who lace regular shit to get people addicted. Sorry for the rant, I just needed somewhere to vent about this.
When I moved from primary school to secondary school it kinda felt like this song. It went from being surrounded by little kids to being surrounded by smokers, vapers and drug dealers.
same, we used to be pure little kids, now it's all about vapes, s€x, drugs, stuff like that. one of my classmates even lost her virginity willingly at the age of 12/13. we knew because she showed up to school one day with a hickey on her neck and she would brag about it. she was later expelled.
This song actually has a meaning, if you listen carefully. You can hear a teenage girl saying that a cigarette is fine and wont harm her, and the male voice is trying to stop her from doing so because he cares for her. This shows how teenagers are acting these days, living without a care.

The saddest thing is that my mom smokes when she used to be in my house and my dad and my mom used to fight a lot and I got scared and it was loud because I'm autistic and I hate loud noises and my grandpa and my grandma would always have to stop the fight. And now my mom lives in a new apartment and I don't want to fight anymore
