This song really hits hard for me. So, there's this guy I've liked for more than 2 years now. And he liked me back too. We became super close besties around a year ago. The thing was, at the time i liked him, i wasnt ready for a relationship. So whenever he hinted at the thought of us being together i always shut it down. But around 6 months ago, we suddenly drifted apart and we had stopped talking. I realized that i was losing him and it suddenly hit me, i was in love with him and i was ready for a relationship with him. But, i then thought he might've moved on. I risked it, and on valentine's day i went up to him and confessed. He was really shook and was like "I really like you too for almost 5 years. But i thought u weren't interested in me, so i've been trying to keep my distance and move on." I was literally heart-broken. He said that even tho he likes me, he isnt ready for a relationship with me. And we stopped talking.
So I've been feeling down in the dumps and i feel like absolute shit. Idk what to do and how to move on. I REALLYY think there's hope for us but it feels really shitty and i just needed to tell all this out.
