Do you have any advice for having a pair of GCC siblings (came from the same clutch of eggs & still waiting on the DNA results for their sex)? They are about 4-5 months old. Currently in a cage that’s on the smaller size due to them having clipped wings (waiting for them to grow back in) & them not being used to climbing (they were kept in a horizontal cage at the store so they are more used to running around. I was worried that they would hurt themselves in a bigger cage as they do fall occasionally when trying to figure out how to climb. I do have a bigger cage coming in though once they get used to climbing a bit more).

Excellent advice. I don’t think anyone want to put their birds at risk. How much information your given, I think, depends on where and from whom you get your bird(s). ☺️

Very true! I'm sometimes shocked to find out how little info is given (even from 'good' stores to new parronts!

Absolutely! Anything to make a sale. There are even breeders who are only interested in getting the bird out the door. 😢

also what about a 3month old conure and a 2 year old conure? would you advise to wait till the 3 month old gets older or is it okay? my 3month old gets play bitten on her toes and she keeps running behind the older one even if the older one is not bothering her.

just wrote a long reply, but it didn't go through. Do not cage together; only allow them together when you are supervising and they are at a play area. Showing signs of aggression toward baby

Hi! I had a quick question. So I recently got a 6 year old Sun conure from a family who couldn't keep her anymore. I believe that I'm her 3rd home. Anyways, we absolutely love her. I'm wondering if I should get her another conure (female Dusky, Nanday, green cheek, etc) as a buddy. Our cockatiels seem to like being paired up (2 females) but I don't want to ruin the bond she's creating with us. Any advice?

did you say if one of their toes is getting bitten that is a sign of trouble towards the end?
