Hi Dr. Childs, first thank you for this video. However, after listening to it, I want to scream! I am so angry. I have been going to my doctors now for three years complaining about my menopausal symptoms. The typical stuff hot flashes, mood swings, not being able to sleep etc. but the one thing I have screamed the most about is my weight gain. almost 40 pounds in three years since entering into menopause. I have researched and with that, I put myself on progesterone cream which has helped with the hot flashes but not with anything else. I had to beg to get him, my doctor to check my thyroid (which both my Mother and my sister are hypothyroid) which he did after a lot of pushing, all my tests came back at the low end of normal so they told me I was normal I didn't need medication. So with further research, I decided to really work on my diet. I eat no grains, very litter dairy, no sugar at all, lots of healthy greens and healthy fats. A low carb lifestyle. All of that and nothing my weight remains. I just went to my doctor again for my annual pap test and insisted I have my hormone levels checked. Which hasn't been done at all since entering into menopause. I had to really push on them even though I am 60 years old and postmenopausal. Can you believe this! They checked my FSH which was 60.8, my LH - 19.3 and my Estradiol, it came back >10pg/mg. They called me on my results and asked me, do I want to go on meds that clearly I was in menopause. OMG! it was my choice. They stated If I felt it would improve my quality of life! It sounds like according to your video that this has been the reason for all this rapid weight gain (which by the way has me so depressed I can't stand it and every bit of it is in my belly) also according to your video that it will help protect me from heart disease! By the way, my mother died of a massive heart attack at the age of 58. She died in the 70's she had a total hysterectomy 2 years prior to her death and NEVER was put on HRT. I was 15 when she died. This absolutely makes me furious that most doctors do not know squat about how to properly treat women's health issues. It sure sounds to me like this is pretty important stuff. I have zero confidence in my doctor and so I have ordered a cream by Life Flo which contains Estradiol and Estriol. If you take new patients and can treat via Skype let me know. You sound so sensible and you know what you're talking about. Thank you for this video. I'm going to send it to my doctor and hopefully, they will learn something. I will also send it to my sister and every women I know that might be helped.
Hi Mary, I won’t go through the years of dealing with incompetent doctors who have harmed my health, but I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone in your anger at these ignorant doctors who don’t seem to know anything about improving the lives of their patients. Take care
This answers a lot of questions. I had a hysterectomy and removal of ovaries. Not one doctor suggested estrogen. But I can tick off most of those symptoms. Every doctor I see gets very adamant about telling me to lose the belly fat but none tell me how to do this. I also have increasing fatigue. So I’ve been looking around trying to find some self help. This looks like a possible pathway of he.
Im 33 and believe I have low estrogen due to premature ovarian failure? I have every text book symptom. Ive been experiencing symptoms for about 10years. Its been a very gradual progression. The last 2-3 years ive really felt my cognitive functions decline. Like memory problems, focus, mood. The main being memory. My mood was an early symptom as well as hair loss and severe hair thinning, severe fatigue, belly weight gain. Blood flow problems, hypothyroid. The list goes on. I just got ndt for thyroid 10/17 that was a big deal cause im in "range". But watching your videos let me know my rt3 was high. So I went back and got retested. I believe all these symtoms is due to lack of estrogen. Theres other symptoms not mentioned. Im going to the dr in 4 days to let him know what I think and so he can order tests. But Ive asked a hrt dr recently to prescribe me bioestrogen and he said absolutely not. This Dr led me to believe testosterone pellets would be beneficial. This was actually many months ago before I began doing my own research, at this time I just knew something was really wrong. I could nolonger rationalize my symptoms. Desperate I got a pellet and it gave me back my sex drive, along with severe acne and a bulbous big nose and 15lbs but that was it. Ur average dr is so against estrogen like its a conspiracy. But they will give me all the synthetic progestin and estrogen I want in the form of birthcontrol. And bcuz ive experienced this gradual decline in my physical and mental heath I know this is my issue. Or I have a cyst causing my ovaries not to produce proper hormones? Ive did my research And thats the only thing that makes sense. They tested my estrodial when they gave me testosterone. Ive had three hormone blood tests and once my estrodial came back at 8. The other times it was they said normal. Im not sure why? If my estrogen comes back low this time and they will not offer me estrogen replacement not talkn about birthcontrol what should I do? Im losing my brain function
Blessid AngeL Try soy isoflavones or wild yam capsules which act like bio identical estrogen. You can even include soy in your diet in a digestible form.
Dont know how you are doing but i believe i also have low estrogen (i took an at-hone hormone test) and just started taking soy isoflavones and can positive say its working. Have not try the bio estrogen cream yet but we will see.
Madison Daily soy contains phytoestrogens which are estrogen mimickers in the body. GMO soy is bad for your body regardless so look for organic. People with excess estrogen are the ones to stay away from soy, while those with low estrogen might benefit from it. draxe.com/nutrition/article/is-soy-bad-for-you/ www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/diet-nutrition/a20707020/is-soy-good-or-bad-for-you/
I find myself suffering from many of these symptoms 😢 the only thing is I'm under the age of 20 and still have regular cycles. I was able to get estrogen online and feel better but worry if I go and get tested it will show up as "good" because of this. I don't want to stop though because I finally feel better.
I hear you. No doctor wants to help when you are premenopausal and still having periods, no matter how much you are suffering. Where did you find the estrogen? How are you doing now, is it still helping you?
Same here, except my cycles have not been regular. Idk what to do and I am scared it is something really serious. I am worried that if it is something serious then I won't be able to go on HRT at some point (I am a trans man to clarify.) I am severely hoping that I can get into a doctor soon and they can actually do something. I thought I was going bloody well insane. It was nice seeing someone else like me because it made me feel a little less alone my situation. I hope you were able to find treatment for yourself.
This has been the worst year of my life besides 2020 losing my father. Nobody in my life earned me about this peri nightmare! It’s has given me the worst healthcare anxiety. 44 years old and I don’t recognize myself. All the symptoms but bloodwork says otherwise… I don’t give a shi$ about the bloodwork. I don’t need an antidepressant…. It’s crazy that we have to go through this. HRT isn’t the answer for some either. What if you could never tolerate Birth control? Does that affect how you tolerate estrogen patches? I was put in this and I thought I was going to jump off a bridge. It made my anxiety and insomnia go through the roof? What gives?
Hope you can help. I have a chemical that has dropped my estogen hugely. I now have hot flashes all the time and feel like complet crap most of the days out the month. I'm going on 3 years now suffering from this for doctors said everything looked fine. But I know it's my hormones. My question is, will I have permanent effects for having low estrogen for so long? I am now going to be taking estrogen.
My mom is 62. She have very dry skin, thin hair, intensiv hair fall, skin itching, red cheeks, sometimes headache. Can you give me some tipps please what should she do get better ? Thank you.
My period hasnt come back around for over a year. After suffering from an eating disorder, restricting colories and had little to no knowledge about its harmful side effects, it caused a hormonal imbalance. Im getting a bone density scan very soon to see whether my monthly periods are on there way. I have most of the symptoms you pointed out! (Im 17)
Charlottew2001 I understand ive had an eating disorder also I’ve been through what youve been through ive had to go to the doctor cause i had endrocervical polyp when i got checked out by the doctors cause i grew something weird that was sticking out of my body and the doctors said that the cause was that my estrogen is low
Same here! I haven't been diagnosed with an eating disorder yet but I am very certain I have one. I am scared that my problems are something serious and that I won't be able to take HRT for my transition (I am a transman to clarify, in case that didn't make sense). I have really bad health anxiety and mental health in general. It is relieving to see someone of my age range (at the time you made the comment) experiencing the same things.
@@SomeQueerWhiteGuy yep this was a long time ago! I got given the contraceptive pill for half a year which didn't work. I ended up having amenorrhea for 3 years until it made a complete comback out of the blue once I got to a healthy weight (mainly from eating more rather than the purely gaining). My periods are late now whenever I am undereating, intensively exercising in short bouts each day. So I know for sure it's weight fluctuations that impact my cycle.
@@mysterical- Mhmm. I am dealing with very similar stuff rn, I hope the doctors will be able to provide some good insight. I deal with binge problems and I have been trying to control them. Thankfully, I am getting back into therapy soon so I hope they can help me through those things.
I'm 27 and ever since I had my daughter 3 years ago I have not had a period.. I have no libido. Sex is extremely painful. I have been through 2 doctors and they all dismiss me because of my age. I'm seeing a new one next week and I'm so nervous. I'm going to beg for a hormone test..
Began having perimenopause symptoms after my second covid vax at age 36. Just had my hormones checked and I'm low estrogen, low cortisol, low dhea, low testosterone. I'm 39.
Is it possible to have cold night sweats, bladder and vagina pain, nocturia, no sex drive because of low estrogen while still having regular periods in my early 30s? I think I have high cortisol from CPTSD and high testosterone perhaps. Also which hormones would cause anorgasmia in women?
Informative video thank you , gives me insight as to what is going on with me , I'm 31 and struggling with Theres exact symptoms for 2 years now. In the process of paying for my own blood work and hormone trading to get to a definitive answer. As like a lot of ppl commenting here my doc has some didily squat for me in this department of testing. My tsh has also climbed to a 3.0 in the past year- No help there either
The growth hormone linked to Estrogen that causes breast sizes to exponentially increase also increases the risk of breast cancer. So women with more extra large size breasts have higher risk of breast cancer
Do you have videos or resources on the relationship of adrenal issues and low estrogen? I have issues from overtraining syndrome. I am 31 years old and have low progesterone and estradiol but high DHEA. Sorta weird.
What about woman that have had partial hysterectomy? I'm 34 and had one 4 years ago. Got blood work done and it says mine is 30 and under in dark lettering postmenopausal female. Idk I just don't feel like myself and have most of these symptoms. What do I do at this point?
29 yo with low estrogen symptoms repeated utis and yeast infections, low to no cervical mucous, infertility . Blood test estradiol 17 normal but on the lower end ...however I Also have a history of PCOS, endometriosis y uterine polyps. Could it be that I have low estradiol which is the good estrogen but high bad estrogens which explain the pco and endo?
Yes, the metabolites of estrogen are more And they are not broken down by liver And perhaps more xenoestrgens in diet could make up fro endo and fibroids .. You can start with fennel , cumin, Dil and carum seeds powder daily added to one cups of hot boiling water from day one to 14 of your cycle , take evening promise oil also for same duration and if you wish you can add the smallest dose of shatavari during these two weeks period .. Reduce your sugar uptake Take healthy saturated fats like Desi ghee ,coconut oil and avocado .. Don't over exercise Stop over eating of wheat products like pasta , biscuits , breads etc Use ginger and lemon in water .. You can also use anti-inflammatory omega 3s throughout cycle . Vitamin d3 is a must Magnesium citrate atleast 600mg throughout the month .. Check your gut health if it is always bloated or not ..then you can go for one teaspoon organic vinegar in a sip of water empty stomach and 2-3 tablespoon youghurt daily in the breakfast ..
Hi doctor please pay attention to my case, im 24 years and my estradiol is 33 , progesterone is 0.9 and prolactin is 70 in the follicular period , my doctor said that all hormones are normal except prolactin so i have to scan the pituitary gland, but as i see the progesterone is higher than normal and the estrogen is lower but still in the normal range , what do you think.. i didn't trust my current doctor?
hello! I have a question about my symptoms and I was hoping you could evaluate them very quickly and give me a face value opinion. I have noticed in the past three months now that I have been gaining weight inexplicably. Not much, but about 2 pounds which is a lot for me. Also in the past three months I have been training pretty hard for running sports. My menstrual cycle was very light and only came once in these past months as well. I have noticed a change in my moods and appetite also. I’m hungrier and less full after eating, and I get angry easier. It’s beginning to affect my life. I have a sneaking suspicion it has to do with hormones after looking up my symptoms. I was wondering if you would offer your opinion?
Unfortunately, I can't give medical advice on this forum but it would probably be a good idea to start with a complete hormone panel. You can learn more here: www.restartmed.com/hormone-testing/
Will try red maca, and myo inositol when I can afford wonder what`s your thought on those??I struggling with adrenal fatigue, and read these could be helpfull..
Hi and thank you for this video. I learnt a bit more. I am 49. And this could be me. Not slept in 3 years but in hrt patch 25 mg change twice a week. I’m seriously struggling with life job and family and at my wits end. When I upped my Everol patch I bloated and pile on weight. Any advice would be amazing. Thank you Allana.
Hello what’s your opinion on bioTe I just got my pellets a week ago and praying it helps. But would love your opinion. I’m willing to try anything that you think would be better.
My sister in law has been using bioT pellets for awhile & doing great. She's 49. These are bioidentical hormones not synthetic. My sister in law is involved with functional integrative medicine & knows alot of holistic functional type providers & nutritionists.
I am guessing it would make sense to test hormone level around d day 22 if the cycle is 27 days. It should make a difference to do the test during first week or last week of your cycle.
PLEASE READ !!! Ive had endrocervical polyp syndrome cause I grew something weird organ sticking out of my thingy #%#^ and the doctor checked it out and said that my estrogen is low and that it was weird for my age cause i was 13 years old and that isnt common for my age and its more common for older women through menopause and who have many kids they checked me out and realized that i had no kids and have had low estrogen and for my age they dont know what caused it but i know what caused it but kept it to myself and guess what ive dealt with an eating disorder i had the strictest diet and strict overexercise routine ive tried everything I felt so tired 😓 but i pushed myself a Through the limit cause i wanted to lose weight i would eat for breakfast a fruit wit like a banana or orange and drink water and run my whole entire community i felt so tired but kept on trying so hard and one day i was peeing and i felt something fall out of my vagina it looked like a weird organ i was worried told my mom and she send me to the doctor to get checked out and i had surgery to remove my organ from my vagay vagay and the doctors said my estrogen was low
A great video. I am a guy and my doctor had me on a Clomiphene Citrate 50 mg (a half a tablet every two days) for about two years now. He told me that this will raise my testosterone levels and lower my estrogen which in turn will help me lose fat?! However I had extremely hard time losing weight/fat since taking this and I have food cravings 24/7 the hunger never goes away including at night even if I eat 4000 healthy calories a day. In addition it is almost impossible to lose fat with proper diet and exercise. I guess what I'm asking is can low estrogen make you crave food especially carbs, and can it be a culprit when it comes to fat loss? Oh and excessive urination. I do that about 7-8 times from 11 pm to 7 am it is very annoying. Thank you in advance.
I’m going through menopause & also severe adrenal insufficiency, have almost no estrogen in my body , what can I do ? Taking 30 mg of steroids daily to increase cortisol as it’s nil .
Is there an online lab that tests for estrogen deficiency? In the UK? The NHS is awful, I had a sadistic endocrinologist who dismissed my disabling symptoms. Yes I am under 40 but I definitely don't have high estrogen 😫
How does it effect older women, I just feel kinda manly for the last few years, yeh I’m 65, but should I be looking and feeling manly, real hard to loose weight too
Can it be possible to have low estrogen and be underweight? I have pcos, a low to mid glycemic diet depending on if I have fruit, I'm underweight (97lbs - 5'1 height), hot flashes, and regular light menstrual periods, and high free testosterone, severe acne for 18 years on face, neck, torso, belly, shoulders. Only fat gain is sometimes at my belly or back of arms but not anything to lament. Within standard range for thyroid hormones. Dairy free, gluten free, I take probiotics and have done keto. I started taking one pill daily of shatavari but it has not helped.
CourageDearHeart89 hi. I think we have very similar hormone problems. I have always been underweight with severe acne, irregular periods too. I just decided to research and test myself recently and believe i have low estrogen! I have been taking 1 bottle os shatavari too and sadly i did not feel anything.
How are you guys doing now? I also have low estrogen and underweight, irregular periods, high testosterone and acne fluctuates a lot . I think I have severe hormone fluctuation and imbalance.
Thank u so much for your information, I am a 51 year old menopause woman that is going through some stuff with my body I started being sexual active again after 2 years went through a divorce and I met a great person and we had sexual intercourse two times and for the two times I had a urinal infection the second one was so bad I ended up in the emergency the doctors couldn't even tell me what was causing it even though I told them my whole history they could not tell me what was wrong I had to figure it out myself because I was so worried about this no I know listening to your blog. I now know what I have to do thank you so much for your information and I am working on raising my hormones so I can have a comfortable sex life with my partner
Hi Allison, I tell everyone I know to be proactive with their health because most doctors cause more harm than good. I’m glad you found Dr. Childs. He is fantastic and so informative! I wish we all had doctors like him. 😉 All the best to you in your new relationship. 😊

Can you please explain the affects bio-est and progesterone have on the thyroid? I am hyperthyroid due to too much iodine in my diet. neg Graves. I have been taking the above for 6 months and feeling great, loosing weight but did not know I was hyperthyroid. I recently stoppped the hormone bc I cant confirm the affects they have on my thyroid that needs to heal. I have increased palpatations and HR, insomnia and just dont feel good. My fibinogen is 160 and I did have a previous blood clot from a pic line in place for 6 weeks. Can you please explain the relationship they have on the thyroid and is it okay to restart. Thank You Lynn
Hi Lynn, I read your post, and I just wanted to let you know that when my estrogen is low, I have heart palpitations and an increased heart rate and tend to have hyperthyroid symptoms. Good luck 🍀
Dr. Westin Childs Thankyou for ur reply, I had an abdominal hysterectomy 10 months ago but kept my ovarie, but lately I’ve had really tender breasts at the sides, headaches, crying at anything and everything, mood swings, fatigue, weight loss, heart palpitations, anxiety, and a feeling like I’m going crazy..brain frog, depression also sweats.. I’m 45 so I thought it was low estrogen.. I can’t see my gyno till January so Today bought some topical estrogen cream that I put a tiny spot at the top of my arm just to see if I feel a little better untill I see my gyno. I hope I’m not doing more harm.
Great information but this kind of stuff causes so much stress and will make you just fall into depression. The specific timelines, deadlines that western doctors finalize for us are so mentally torturous. What if you are at the edge of those thresholds (like I heard 40 so many times as if these doctors are gods or something and know for sure) and you want to preserve your fertility but hearing so much negative deadlines with surety will just destroy your positive manifestations. Hate this. Hate the strong conviction in the voice that ‘if you are 40 or over blah blah blah’. Ugh. And nowadays you can even bring women back from menopause using stem cells. So don’t let this doctor’s strong statements play with your mind. I wish I never heard all this.
Why are you wishing you never heard this or got stressed out from it if you clearly state that you already know that stem cell can help?? If you are stressed go on Ashwaganda then maybe info like this won’t bother you. I normally hate listening to a male doctor who doesn’t (( feel it )) like a female Doctor experiences it but I think he did a great job too.
Firstly I have normal estradiol then I take ovasitol and check my blood again the result is 17 (low normal) now I stop ovasitol is my estradiol higher up again? Dr.
What can be done to help someone who has had Radioactive Iodine and is now suffering with low estrogen? The Dr put me on HRT, but I had a bad reaction to it? I really am in a bad way and would appreciate any guidance, thank you.
Blonde Ambition Try Soy isoflavones or yam root capsules which are similar to bio identical estrogen. You can even include soy in your diet in a digestible form.
Thank you for this video. I have all of these symptoms and they have increased recently along with a new symptom of sagging breast and they lost their firm and full look. I just turned 42 but was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor 11 months ago that is being monitored. I am not sure whether it’s the tumor or peri menopause causing the symptoms. Going to get bloodwork done by my Gyno asap
I found an integrative gynecologist in my area who actually takes private health insurance & she specializes not only in regular gynecology but is a FACOG & specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Along with many other amazing things. After searching & searching. I have an appointment with her in a few weeks. You can go to naturopathic doctors, functional medicine doctors, holistic doctors, endocrinologists but not so common & gynecologists.
When my estrogen is low, my hair stops shedding. Granted, I feel deficient. When my estrogen levels improve, my hair starts shedding. I just don't understand it.
I’m 37 and have horrible insomnia!!! And increase palpitations, it all got worse after my last pregnancy at 36, but it started at 33, what could it be ? Also have mid cycle bleeding every month, does that sound like progesterone drop, or estrogen drop.
Hi, am 40 yrs. Do not menstruate for last 3 months. Late marriage. Eagerly want to conceive. After taking estradiol valerate, still no periods. But an increased in endometrium lining to 7mm. Kindly suggest as to what to do. Thank
I am 17 and have a lot of these symptoms. My cycle has been late by like 3 months or so. I get dizziness, high heart rate and blood pressure, fatigue, frequentally urinate, I get headaches everyday, etc. I am not on any HRT for my transition yet, I am a trans man. Idk if being on that could make it worse. I am scared to approach my doctor about what I am feeling because I am scared of not being taken seriously or it being something fatal, I know it likely isn't I am very paranoid. I also am scared of them blaming it strictly on my weight or something like that. I am severely bad health anxiety and just mental health problems in general. Do you have wny advice on what I should do or how to approach my doctor?
Hormonal blood tests, like thyroid and prolactin, also energy related makers such as b12, folate for energy metabolism should rule some things oit. Also are you getting enough electrolytes!? Headaches fatigue, dizziness.. all of it can be caused by an electrolyte imbalance as well. Wishing you luck w/ your health journey!

I hope you're feelin' better too, it is a tough struggle when no one will listen to you or you're not able to find anyone. Have you talked your doctor to see if you could get tested for PCOS? Maybe they could take a hormone test and they can go from there. I really hope you are feeling better, hun. You may not know me but I am here if you need anything, like advice, to vent about these problems, etc. It is again a hard struggle. Everything will get better even if it may not seem like it now. You take care, cheers.
Could anxiety and trouble falling asleep means too much estrogen or not enough? I'm on .5 estradoil and I feel like I have an ovarian remnant. I had a hysterectomy in 2012 due to endometriosis. Though, the ultrasound didn't show one. My doctor put me on .5 but says I could go to 1mg since I still have anxiety and sleep disturbances.
I'm taking Est-Adapt, by Bio matrix. Look it up on Amazon to see reviews. I bought it cheaper (free shipping) on the Bio Matrix site, or maybe on Ebay. It's wild yam extract in rice bran oil. They have other products too. I think one is a mix of estrodial and progesterone. It has helped and I've just been being very conservative with it, rubbing a drop on my skin (where ever, usually wrists) twice a day. I was concerned about taking it, but now I'll increase the daily dose.
Very good doc very informative I'm 35 have vag dryness can't seem to get pregnant either but did when I was 27 but not since I have periods monthly but only for 2-3 days very mild bleed I want another baby I'm not sure what's what
I know I'm very low on estrogen. The only kind of side effect for me that I cant sleep. The worst thing is that I have to get up to go to work. On the weekends I sleep well because even if I turn and off until 2am But then. Since I dont work I sleep until 11 am. I'm kind of afraid to start an estrogen program. I'm menopause already. Is the patch better?
No, I did and after 6 months I got breast cancer, bad luck for me, How can I knew it will be cause by patch? Doctor told me before that it just can happens to 1% of woman , well that happened to me, so my advice is try to deal with it until menopause is over
My girlfriend friend took HRT, she end up with breast cancer and died after a year. I’ve been on menopause for eight years now. I’m turning 58, i changed my diet and mostly plant-based. I do drink milk occasionally and cream in my coffees. I don’t take any women supplements but once a while I have no energy. I just take a nap to compensate. Good luck to all of us women including my two daughters.❤❤❤ and for vaginal lubrication, I use sesame seeds oil . I just soak the cotton and rub it on my vagay vagay.
Oh my...I'm 38 years old and my estradiol is 12! I have very regular mentral cycles and amh & fsh & progesterone levels are somewhat normal. I've been trying to conceive for years. :(
Actually, thus video was very disappointing in offering treatment. "Go to your doctor to get a prescription". That's only helpful if you have insurance, not a new high deductible, and if your insurance covers it. I was hoping for some other suggestions for raising estrogen in perimenopause. I just entered it 11/19.
Ah yes, eating disordered since forever. Only recently figured out it's due to PTSD. Also I had a suspected pituitary tumour. Also I've been sleeping only 1-2 hrs at a time for the past 6 years
@@drwestinchilds Thanks but what makes you say that? I don't have an inflated self esteem, the opposite in fact, and I don't have a decreased need for sleep, I'm just not able to sleep longer because of other low estrogen symptoms.

You sound so sensible and you know what you're talking about. Thank you for this video. I'm going to send it to my doctor and hopefully, they will learn something. I will also send it to my sister and every women I know that might be helped.
Yes ma’am you are right
Wish some of my friends would be open minded about Naturopathic/herbs/food as medicine. Sadly, most blindly trust Mainstream Doctors.
And people think some kind of universal healthcare is a good idea. We will all be forced to pay for this ignorance.
Hi Mary,
I won’t go through the years of dealing with incompetent doctors who have harmed my health, but I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone in your anger at these ignorant doctors who don’t seem to know anything about improving the lives of their patients.

Try soy isoflavones or wild yam capsules which act like bio identical estrogen.

@@protègemoi777 so true. They really don’t give a damn.
What gives?

My period hasnt come back around for over a year. After suffering from an eating disorder, restricting colories and had little to no knowledge about its harmful side effects, it caused a hormonal imbalance. Im getting a bone density scan very soon to see whether my monthly periods are on there way. I have most of the symptoms you pointed out! (Im 17)

I am scared that my problems are something serious and that I won't be able to take HRT for my transition (I am a transman to clarify, in case that didn't make sense). Is it possible to have cold night sweats, bladder and vagina pain, nocturia, no sex drive because of low estrogen while still having regular periods in my early 30s? I think I have high cortisol from CPTSD and high testosterone perhaps. Also which hormones would cause anorgasmia in women?

Could it be that I have low estradiol which is the good estrogen but high bad estrogens which explain the pco and endo?
Yes, the metabolites of estrogen are more And they are not broken down by liver And perhaps more xenoestrgens in diet could make up fro endo and fibroids ..

Estrogen dominance would most likely be the culprit.

What about tender breasts that feel bruised, both of them? Is this a sign of low estrogen ?
Typically breast tenderness is a sign of excess estrogen.

They have other products too. I think one is a mix of estrodial and progesterone. It has helped and I've just been being very conservative with it, rubbing a drop on my skin (where ever, usually wrists) twice a day. I was concerned about taking it, but now I'll increase the daily dose.
Very good doc very informative I'm 35 have vag dryness can't seem to get pregnant either but did when I was 27 but not since
I have periods monthly but only for 2-3 days very mild bleed
I want another baby
I'm not sure what's what
Is 2 mg estadiol in teenage safe
The last thing a teenager needs is more estrogen. Progesterone cream would work better for symptoms.
I know I'm very low on estrogen. The only kind of side effect for me that I cant sleep. The worst thing is that I have to get up to go to work. On the weekends I sleep well because even if I turn and off until 2am
But then.
Low oestrogen can cause achitzophrenia
Oh my...I'm 38 years old and my estradiol is 12! I have very regular mentral cycles and amh & fsh & progesterone levels are somewhat normal. I've been trying to conceive for years. :(
Hello, please what is situation now?

Animal fats and red meat is wonderful for aging women 😉🙋🏽♀️😁💯🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂👍🏽
Actually, thus video was very disappointing in offering treatment. "Go to your doctor to get a prescription". That's only helpful if you have insurance, not a new high deductible, and if your insurance covers it. I was hoping for some other suggestions for raising estrogen in perimenopause. I just entered it 11/19.
There really isn't an equal substitute for good old fashioned estradiol.
Anxiety Brain fog depression sex drive omg etc..all me
Why is your video not clear.
Not sure what you mean
@@drwestinchilds I'm not saying that your topic is not clear ,I'm taking about the video.
Ah yes, eating disordered since forever. Only recently figured out it's due to PTSD. Also I had a suspected pituitary tumour. Also I've been sleeping only 1-2 hrs at a time for the past 6 years
Sounds a little like hypomania/mania.
@@drwestinchilds Thanks but what makes you say that? I don't have an inflated self esteem, the opposite in fact, and I don't have a decreased need for sleep, I'm just not able to sleep longer because of other low estrogen symptoms.
