I am captivated by the beauty of the university. I am sure being a student or an academician in this school should be fascinating.
I graduated a long time ago, in 1989, when it was called Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen. So much has changed! I really miss my student time, best time of my life.

Hi Joost, the Spinoza building is not featured in this tour because of the current development of this part of the campus. Spinoza will be either demolished or renovated in the near future. Als eerste complimenten voor het filmpje, super gaaf. en dan toch maar even een vraag: Hoe hebben jullie toestemming gekregen om met een drone over het Radboud Uni te mogen vliegen? Normaliter is dit een no -fly zone ivm de Trauma- heli. Ik ben zelf ook een drone piloot en zou ook wel met mijn DJI Mini 2 over de campus willen vliegen. Graag jullie reactie :)
Dag Raymond, bedankt! Wat je zegt klopt. Boven de campus mag in principe niet gevlogen worden. De videomaker heeft hiervoor toestemming moeten aanvragen bij de Dienst Beveiliging van het Radboudumc. Deze is verleend omdat de video's gemaakt zijn t.b.v. de Radboud Universiteit en het Radboudumc. Het is dus niet mogelijk om zonder toestemming te vliegen. Wat de voorwaarden zijn voor toestemming - en of toestemming aan jou verleend kan worden - heb ik nagevraagd. Zodra ik antwoord heb zal ik het aan je laten weten. Rondom het Radboud en de Uni is wel een super mooi gebied om te vliegen bv, om mooie gebouwen te vliegen en filmen. Ik zeg bijvoorbeeld het kasteeltje.Huize heyendael. Met mijn DJI mini 2 die 250gr weegt mag ik inprincipe meer, zonder A1-A3 drone licentie. De mini 2 valt in categorie A0 (speelgoed drones met camera) Wel heb ik mijn drone officieel bij de RDW laten registreren. Ik ben weer benieuwd wat je voor elkaar kunt krijgen. groetjes Raymond
Hoi Raymond, ik heb nagevraagd bij de helihavenmeester. Er wordt er alleen toestemming gegeven bij professionele projecten van gecertificeerde dronevliegers. Voor hobbyprojecten is het dus niet mogelijk om toestemming te krijgen. Gelukkig zijn er nog genoeg prachtige plekken waar je vast wel met je drone terecht kunt! Veel vliegplezier!

Actually, I'm at University of Groningen at the moment, and I'm trying to apply at Radboud University through Studielink for February 2022. I did send an email to the International Students Department of Rabdoud University, and they replied that the applications are currently closed and I have to wait until next year April or some later month. Nevertheless, I applied for February 2022 anyway, and awaiting future updates about the application process. Is February 2022 selected possibly open at this moment?

Hi Jude, students will receive an email informing them of the admission decision approximately three weeks after submitting a complete application in Studielink and OSIRIS Application. The deadline for February intake is 1 November for Non-EU/EEA applicants and 1 December for EU/EEA applicants. So I think you should be able to apply, but this also depends on your specific situation. To be sure, I would recommend you to contact our centralstudentdesk@ru.nl again, because they can help you with your specific questions. UG is indeed an amazing University with plenty of activities to participate in, or even taking the time to bike around with friends and get to know different cultures through ESN Activities, and Language Exchange Clubs. I do hope you enjoy this when you get there!
One of the important steps when applying for a major is knowing how specific is the major you choose, and how relevant it is to your interests and post-graduation career opportunities. Another thing is to always follow up with the ISD (Immigration Service Desk) as their job consists of monitoring your study progress throughout the year(s). It is better to contact them to understand further how to keep up with your grades in order to avoid losing your study permit (MVV Card).
In addition, you should also consider the choice of Accommodation and buying bikes (New or Second hand, depending on the shop you choose. Try "Budget Bikes", I highly recommend it!).
