GM Torre somewhat took time in competitive chess in early 2000s to focus on Phil Chess Organizational reforms thus reorganizing to NCFP. This producing a reneissance in Phil Chess. Sadly by the Mid 2010s when GM Torre concentrated more on Coaching and Chess Devt and LEFT the administrative affairs to the successors in NCFP Phil Chess saw the exodus of its top rated players to the US , Middle East, Singapore and Oceania. To make a successful chess team we have to bear in mind 1. Player Talent Pool 2. Player Devt Program 3. Coaching n Trainers Devt. 4. Organizational and Administrative efficiency. 5. Strengthening and Intensifying domestic and locally held tournaments.
