Ask your shop not to smash your hem so tight, add a hem on roof side, and add a 45 degree 1/2 inch kink to the bottom of your drip edge. Bonus if he does a kink on the top face, so water has two kick outs to keep it off fascia.. Your hem should be easier to open. (Its also hard on his brake jaw.). Its good to cover the roof down to the fascia with a strip of ice and water shield. Without the second hem it will expand and contract a cutline through a material below it. Then when your ice and water shield goes on top no ice has a path under your drip edge. The bottom kink will allow gutter to slide under easier and help kick water that reaches it off the fascia.
