This video is great! I appreciate the visual graphs/charts you provided - they are very helpful 😊. I was wondering if you can do something similar for the NEW baby buddha 2.0 so we can compare? I can't decide between that one or the PGA. This will be my third baby and I am deciding to exclusively pump again. I'm hoping the new baby buddha 2.0 or PGA can be used as a primary option for exclusive pumping ( I would love to be able to have more mobility or freedom this time around if possible) Thank you in advance for your help ❤
SO helpful, Jessica! @genuinelactation - I really loved the Motif Luna pump for my first child and am now looking for a portable pump that is almost, if not, just as strong. I am currently torn between the BabyBuddha and Pumpable Genie Advanced pumps and am curious about which one you would recommend (especially given this 2.0 version of BabyBuddha)? I am also interested in using either pumps with the Freemie cups (or something that can fit in a regular bra) - I am wondering if that has an impact on what version of the Baby Buddha I should consider (given your great research on the different hacks and impact on suction). Any insight/advice you can provide is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you SO much!
@@genuinelactation I have the Motif Luna Double Electric Breast Pump (purchased in 2020). As for settings, I think my massage setting was: Cycle: 60, Level 05 and my expression setting was: Cycle 34, level 06 BUT this is what was reflected when I just turned on my pump for the first time in 4 years (assuming that my last programming was saved). I recall that sometimes I would keep it on the massage settings if my milk was flowing at that. I hope this provides the information you were looking for! Any insight/advice you can provide would be GREAT! Thank you SO much!
Are they still selling version 1? If I buy from the Baby Buddha website now will I get the version 2? Has anyone tried Legendairy Milk cups with version 2?
It's dependent on the flange setup in use but across most of my tests its virtually indistinguishable. The version 2 motor almost performs better double pumping.
@@catherineallen745 give me another week or 2- version 2 changes the response to hacks so my previous setups to reduce suction aren’t behaving as expected
That makes sense with the cycle speeds. To date the v1 motor paired with properly sized flanges has been a good fit for many moms. The cups are hit or miss.
Thank you for a comparison video! Very helpful.

Which Motif Luna did you have and any chance you remember your settings?

Is there a way to tell on the package which version it is? I’m considering buying one from a friend that is still new and in the package.
If you get a photo of the label on the box with the date on it I may be able to tell you. It can be emailed to me at jessica@genuinelactation.com
@@genuinelactation what date did they start making the new version?
Does version 2 hack with Spectra flanges and Pumpables flanges?
How do I know that what I’m ordering is version 2 versus version 1?
I would love to see how the version 2 works with the PGA liquid shields.
It's on my list and should be out soon!
@@genuinelactation that's awesome!!! I wonder if it lowers that killer suction a little bit on the lower end.
Do you know if double pumping is as strong as single pumping for the BB v.2?

@@genuinelactation thank you! Ironically I want the setup that weakens the suction. 😂 loving all these videos you’re putting out.

I respond better to v1 than the spectra. It reminds me of the hospital symphony honestly.
