For reference, himeko in 3rd was dying due to honkai corruption. She had a year to live at best, and that vial she injected HoV with could have saved her. She chose to save kiana instead.
she knew the key of blankness would kill her even without tesla saying it but still she chose to do it.

We really deserve to get an oficial anime adaptation of Honkai Impact 3rd. I know the animations and "cutscenes" could be enought, but just imagine it as a full lenght anime with their quality and storytelling...
Absolutely! For example, an animated adaptation of Second Eruption would be incredible! Not to mention a great hook to the game's story.

@@O_Godz i agree but they need to find a very good VA its been years since honkaiu launch all captain mostly love their VA to add english is a huge pressure to the VA plus all those year make me understand them even not paying attention to the subs hahaha unlike HSR and genshin the add that since VA so no attachment from player but HI3 has a huge OG captain but again they can add but it gonna be huge pressure to the VA.

Exactly what I thought so, I mean welt wasn't able to save her because he's literally stuck in the herrsce core (sorry for the spelling I keep forgetting), but anyway this time welt will make up for it and be by her side and also maybe release the burden of not telling what had actually happened to her father, I know this time around himeko is going to have an epic comeback, maybe reminiscing about her other self past, I mean we do have the memory snatchers in star rail, my bet they've collected memories for multiple alternate universe too, and maybe some of himeko and Kiana past, in any case they'll be a point in star rail where we will have to do Welt and Himeko story

If only most HSR only players would deny this game the chance to thrive. This game’s story is the part of the game that hit me the most. Kiana’s story pushed me past my hard times, and Himeko was a part of that story that was vital for my personal growth. It’s crazy to say this out loud since Honkai is just a video game and not real, but the story did resonate.
If anyone that hasn’t played honkai impact watches this and reads this, even if you don’t play the game, go read the manga’s, go read the lore, the story is more than enough. It’s a beautiful story despite the sad parts.
the sadness adds to the beauty, it's so well crafted. Many things hint to others from the title of a song to the lyrics or even what they're telling us directly, the lore is so vast you either lose yourself inside all of it or forget 1/3rd

Himeko gave everything, for the faintest glimmer of hope, that Kiana could rewrite Fate.
She lives on, as long as Kiana and the others do... and beyond, so long as one person knows the story.

I swear to god I have this odd inkling we are gonna get this himeko moment where we think she dies and she drops the HI3rd line and goes full power. Or at some point she's gonna say something about Kiana but doesnt know who she is cause she "sees" her other life in dreams or fuzzy memories. Either way, Im gonna be sobbing the entire way through. I just think something is gonna happen with Himeko that pieces more things together and we're gonna get some feels for it
I think the one who will drop the memory bomb is gonna be Welt. He may have not witnessed the events of chapter 9, but he has seen the whole story afterwards.

Este vídeo ha conseguido que me golpee sentimentalmente como la primera vez que vi cada cinemática, es admirable como Himeko importó tantísimo tanto a Kiana como a los jugadores a través de tantos años, y a día de hoy, sigue siendo motivo gran añoranza. Entré a Star Rail solo para conseguir a Himeko y en una tirada de 10 la conseguí, no la he sacado del equipo desde entonces ni lo voy a hacer por el cariño que consiguió generar. Rezaré para que todos los jugadores de Impact 3 sean capaces de viajar una vez más junto a Himeko y recuerden esos viejos tiempos.
100% contigo. Himeko se convirtió rápidamente en mi personaje favorito de HI3 y obtenerla como mi primer 5* en HSR fue un super golpe de suerte hahah. Cuado encontré la referencia dentro del juego, quise compartir un vistazo a lo que representa para los jugadores de HI3.
Aaaah por favor enviame vibras! empece a jugar HSR solo por ella y aun no me sale (al menos tengo a Bronya pero es "Rand" su semejanza no es tan fuerte como con Himeko). Creo que de hecho jugaria mas si ya la tuviera... eso si cada vez que voy al Expreso la sensasion de "volver a casa" que me da ver a Himeko en distintos lugares es genial.

she was the Oringinal Train conductor and then she gave Pom pom the permission to be conductor to return to Her world
( Maybe a stretch due to i think only Va Void Archive could do this hence why Welt Yang is here )

My take on Mei: She is in search of a girl with white hair that gives hope. However, her journey was cut short when she was injured and lost her memories. She is found by a villain in HSR and uses her for that villain's own gains. Raiden Mei...those who hear her name tremble in fear. No shield or weapon was able to block her inhuman slashes. Just as her name suggests, she draws power from lightning and thunder and her katana's edge becomes infinitely sharper when enhanced by lightning.

You know... I'm playing honkai impact slowly, I'm still at the beginning of chapter 15 (besides having played some later in the story events) but this video still killed me... and I'm looking forward to seeing everything of the next chapters with all the details.

Didn't know Hi3 would go this hard tbh, I stopped playing around the first parts cuz it just didn't hit me but lowkey wanna go back again to witness these scenes myself
there better be a part where we crash land into other universe moon. do some long story quest etc. help out a mysterious person who soul being torn apart and barely hanging on in like a light silhouette form. after dealing with stellaron stuff etc. the person get physical form, wearing a cloak. she thank you for helping. Marsh saw Welt and Himeko coming over to pick them up and call out to them '' Ah here they are! Mr.Yang! Himeko!'' the cloaked person gasp, turn around and the hood lifted off her head and reveal to be Kiana herself. she look at Himeko shocked with a single tears drop down her cheek. our Himeko ask '' hmm? are you all right?'' Kiana answer '' yes... i'm fine Himeko '' Himeko confused '' have we met? '' and Kiana just smiled

Cocolias death was still meaningful, you don't need to feel overwhelmed by himeko. Cocolias lore is more implied in books and side info rather than the main story

Ngl, i played HI3 then i didn't like it, i go into Genshin and couldn't play it for awhile because of school.
I then got back into Genshin about 2 years ago in August of 2021, i got Diluc as my 1st 5☆ (on standard banner) then got Raiden as my first even limited 5☆ from then on i got Childe, Hu Tao, Zhongli, Ayaka, Venti, Yae Miko, Yoimiya and Nahida, i'm just saving for Focalors.
Then i go into HI3 about 2 months ago, but this time i stayed and ALMOST finished the story but guess what my phone and the app just doesn't work together anymore so now Elysia beginner banner is probably gone and i'm mad cause she's my favourite Herrscher, of course Bronya and Senti are close behind but meh.
Honkai made me cry everytime they had a sad cutscene with Elysia or Himeko, especially when Kiana knew she had to say goodbye, and also f*ck those doctors who experimented on Sirin.

Kinda wanna pick up the game to understand all of these references but playing through all these years worth of content is a lil overwhelming so I guess I'm stuck here watching videos like yours.. F in the chat
I totally get you. For me it was the same way, but I eventually gave it a try and was completely hooked by the story and the characters. It did took me a while, I mostly ignored limited events and just focused on the main story.
While I tried to convey the core elements of Himeko's influence on Kiana, there's a lot that I didn't feature here. Especially how much Kiana struggled in the time between been saved by Himeko and her eventually becoming the Herrscher of Flamescion.
If you ever change your mind and decide to give it a go, my best suggestion would be not to rush, just take it at the pace that suits you best.

just try it man, honkai story is easier to catch up than, i would say, genshin.
because some part of the story, the game will lend you the character needed (if you are worry about not being able to clear a certain stage because your character is underleveled/powered)
ive been playing for long, but never really paying attention to the story, made a side account for this and ive been doing fine so far, just do like... 1 chapter a day (especially for earlier chapter). you should catchup quickly with the current chapter.

Cthulhu-chan is only meant to pave the way for the appearance of Herrscher of The End... Cthulhu-chan is the Stigmata Terminal that Resets the GGZ Timeline everytime HoTE destroys it...
