Bagpipes always get the old Scottish blood flowing in me. A recording doesn't do this justice, either. Being in the close proximity to so many bagpipes is a truly indescribable feeling. They electrify the air.
While no one was looking, Lady Liberty shed a tear in joy.
One of the awesome flashmob ever!!
What an awesome day - the event coordinators did a great job, and props to Saint Ann's - you guys (and ladies) sounded great!!!!

Uauuuuuuu...grandi!!!
This makes me want to march into battle.
WHYYYYY!!!! can't people just take in the moment instead of like lemmings shove a camera into the air concentrating on focus ,,who's in the screen etc. and miss the music
Next time slow down on the editing. It was making me dizzy cutting from shot to shot too fast
Hey, the tourist from Glasgow is in at 0:21 in the striped shirt!

Actually a majority of native-born Scots voted yes, but the way EU migrants, and Britons from other parts of the UK voted swayed the result.
We didn't complain because the whole point of the referendem was to allow those who lived in Scotland to decide if they wanted Scotland to leave the UK, after the SNP won a majority with a referendum in their manifesto.

I wasn't talking about Brexit either, EU migrants couldn't vote in the EU referendem.
I was talking about the Scottish independence referendem, obviously.
The SNP are backed by almost half the electorate, polling shows half the electorate want another referendem within the next two years, and pro independence parties have a majority in the Scottish parliament.
Independence is very much alive, you don't know what you're talking about.
That was really cool. Must've been really cool to be a part of that. Not very impressed with the playing though. There were some shockers coming through there, plus half the pipers were out of step with the other half. 10/10 for effort and creativity, but 4/10 for quality.
Aaaaaaw come on dude/dudette, you gave 'em a compliment & then took it back. These folks put themselves out there, took the time & expense to make the trip, to do something really super nice for a whole bunch of folks. Why would you be critical of that? The peoples of the world need to be kinder to one another.
I for one thought it was just GREAT! Sure made me cry!
@@timeforthinkers7418 So true as a Scot there was no need to say what he said .
Most of the people were like K...
The camera work was terrible but the music was spot on.
Just so you know, they are called tunes and not songs. First one is Scotland the brave. a 4/4 2nd tune is Amazing grace a 3/4 (c'mon you should have known that one... :p ) and brain fart on the last tune. Sorry cant remember the name. Hope that helped a little bit!
Can someone tell me what the tune they marched out to was?
Please tell me that you were just having a laugh re: that question....if not and I feel so sad for you, that was "Scotland the brave"....I still feel that you were having a laugh!!!
friskyfellow
No, I know that. I mean out.. as in away from the parade ground. Not out as in marching into the parade ground. 2:20ish on
Benjamin MacDouglas It's "When the Battle's O'er", composed by Pipe Major William Robb - a simple and often played 3/4.

Thank you so much! Worst part is I heard it on Pandora after here, and I couldn't read the screen in my sleep induced haze. Thanks again!
Benjamin MacDouglas You're most welcome. By the way, the music is in Scots Guards Book 1.
Fuckin awesome
there's way too much editing on this
song names?
Lone Piper + 1st tune = Scotland the Brave
2nd tune = Amazing Grace
March off = When the battle's o'er
battles oer
such bad editing
This just popped up in my recommendations. With tears streaming down my face I am cheering you on. There's nothing quite like a pipe & drum band. Just lovely! Just watched a video done in Scotland with massed pipe & drum band. A thing of beauty!
