Best vocal moments from The Voice season 6's contestant, Sisaundra Lewis from #TeamBlake. One of, if not the best, vocalist this show has ever seen. She is a force of nature, period. The way she takes control over the songs and over her magnificent instrument is a pleasure to witness. It's a shame she was kicked out so early in the competition but with the few performances she had she showcased massive vocal power.
She is better than every coach of each season.

But hey profession is a vocal coach.... She coached Celine Dion for years and was her supporting vocalist back in the day so your statement is acceptable..
Better than many but not as good as Christina Aguilera her vocal range is 4 octaves , Kelly Clarkson's vocal range is also a little higher than 3 ovtaves

Her breath support is killer. Many people on this show a screamers and they strain allot but her voice is really clear and she doesn't lose the support even at G#5. And she uses real connected head voice not the weak falsetto that all the little girls use now a days

TayTay BeyNippy she has clearly a very powerful voice. is almost dramatic . thats why shes sounds flawless in f5 and g5. normal voices would start get much thinner.

Carl Briggs I saw her Whitney song cover and she did an outstanding job. She is what comes closest to Whitney imo.

This woman is soooo talented. One of my favorite contestants of The Voice, and for sure one of the best voices that came to the show. She should've won, but sadly she didn't even make it to the finale. Anyway, thanks for the video, it's amazing.

Both should have won together. Actually both are great but Christina is light lyric while Sisaundra is dramatic so Christina sounds sweet, while Sisaundra sounds big and dramatic.

how do i "solidify" the high note at the end of Nessun Dorma .... it feels like I'm barely holding it. I'm "belting" but not a strong grab a chair and sit on it, type of belt. it's a B natural, which Bb is my normal high, strong note.

+Thi Hills What? I thought she was Soprano. Her upper belts are so easy... Damn, she's amazing. She had to be black to sing that way. She slays a lot of sopranos of the current music (like Ariana for example) lol. YAS! Black voices are the best. Sings black girl! Hallelujah 🙌
@101297741087219765837 But, dramatic-mezzo has ease with high notes too (ref: Jennifer Holiday and Anastacia), and they have strong low notes and start losing the belt quality around G#5 like this girl (Sisaundra)... But tbh, her output is not that big for a dramatic voice.
Thi Hills Yes, I knew it. Jennifer Holliday is also Dramatic-Mezzo and she beat a B5 in mixed voice, several Bb5's and A5's and and sustained many G#5's for a long time. It's unbelievable how she is quite old and she has vocal nodules since she was very young ... and despite that she can sustained and hit amazing upper belts with grunt. She is an amazing Mezzo. Aretha is the Mezzo with the best belting range in the world for me. She beat in her glorious years a C#6/D6 in mixed voice.

How do you seperate those notes? I can't really sing, so I can't really hear the big difference, but I want to know.
Malthe Nielsen I'd think it's just a ton of practice. Sitting by a piano, listening to each note. Not totally sure, but that's what I would assume. Maybe he's a singer, and that's how he learned?
It is not important to know how to sing before knowing the notes. Knowing the notes is what makes you better at singing instead. Knowing the subtle differences between the two notes is the instinct that every human know before ten years old (if not tone deaf). However, knowing the key of each note is what you will gain after learning some basics in music. BTW knowing every notes does not make you become a good vocalist instantly.

E3 to bb5 is 2 octaves 3 notes and 1 semitone, now any people who love to sing finally should stop saying you should have 3 octaves or more to be Great Singer, her range shows you all that even the hardest song to sing doesn't exceed 2 octaves and 3 notes most of the time, as long as you have 2 octaves and sing with real passion and heart (also with good vocal skills), you'll sound great, and you are a real singer.

Ms. Lewis was and is to good for a rigged show like the voice
She was a incredible vocalist but she was TOO much. Sometimes it looked like she was acting and not emoting and that's probaly why she was eliminated. She was a beast but she wasn't connecting with the audience and with her songs. IMO the best vocalists of the show were Alisan and Tessanne, they just knew how to connect with a audience at the same time that they were giving the vocals of their lifes. But anyway, Sisaundra is a pretty good vocalist.
