It was on the map that had the small town and the harbor on right side about mid map. Then there was the big open meadow that covered the rest of the map. The name escapes me ATM. Although I do remember it left you alive. It just knocked you down too your last 700 HP. However I do remember it totally and permanently obliterated your engine. Effectively turning you into an IS-7 shaped bunker for the remainder of the match. Also if memory serves correctly. You managed to survive to be the last or 2nd to last tank alive on your team. Jingles seems to be forgetting that when the game came out of beta in 2010 there was already 3 tech trees with 3 tier 10 tanks available to people. There was the Soviet tech tree with the IS-7 at the top, the German one with the Maus, and there was the American one with the T30 at the top. I can't remember how it was all set up before it came out of beta though, and I was just a bit too late to actually have been in on the original beta testing myself (I joined within the first week after public release). In any case the T30 was a thing that a lot of people seem to be forgetting about, in fact it was my very first tier 10 tank in the game.

I have played Wot since August 2014 to March 2020. I just stopped because I qaa confined for two weeks, so I got more time for other games I haven't played At all. Even like gta V. Nowadays I play warzone with friend. I have not even seen any videos about wot ever since, it had to be a Jingles one, his voice and commentary got me nostalgic. But Jesus Christ, the game hasn't changed a bit.
In all the years of following and watching Mr. Jingles. Today was the first day the his video popped up in my feed. Our Evil Gnome Overlord has finally sent the right person from TH-cam to the Salt Mines to get things right.
I still remember a shot that I made with my GWE100 with AP round at IS-7 from other part of the map, hit him, and blew his ammo rack sending his turret to sky. Geez. That was was insane.
God I miss the tier 6 lights being in tier 10 games. Back when they actually had a niche role that people would have fun playing, either running around at the speed of sound (T-50-2), or sitting in a bush and spotting everyone in the same postal code (Chaffee). Took me forever to finally get used to the 3cm gun the Luchs, Leopard and VK got in the 8.3(?) patch. Why do you have to hit me with that nostalgia right out of the gate Jingles? But I'm happy to say that I'm once again excited to wake up, as if there isnt a flood, man flu, shitty ISP, or a sunday, I'll have a jingles video to watch with breakfast. On another topic, I played world of tanks on xbox, and after about a year or so, I logged back in to discover a completely alien game. Tier 1 and 2 no longer exist? The UI and hangar are significantly worse, holy idk what happened, but I dont like it lol.
I played world of tanks for nearly 6 years and just had to stop because of this very fact, this thing we call *Powercreep*, I don't claim to be a unicum but I'd like to think I was above average and knew what I was doing, but skill doesn't mean a whole lot when you have a clear disadvantage, that's not to say that these tanks are useless but they have to compete with things that are far superior, it just takes the fun out for me, I feel conditioned to get the tanks that are the clear winners instead of the tanks that I'd like to use, add ontop of that their shady business methods such as for example adding a Premium version of the ISU-152 that has the BL10 troll gun, after saying "This gun is too op for the tank" but then they release the very same tank as a premo wanting us to pay, Just things like that make me steamed, And I loved playing WoT I really did, It's just not what it used to be, I still occasionally on very rare days go back to play but I'm always just met with disappointment. which is why most days I just feel comfortable watching someone else play it and the added commentary is just a sweet bonus from the epic Jingles, been watching this channel for years and very much enjoying the content, even things that aren't wargaming related, such as you visiting museums or adding quick history to the vehicles that are featured in your videos, and without the great community you have, I cringe at the thought of what it would be like without you. IS-7 is one of the best tier X heavies. Its far from power creeped, It has been buffed over the years and today its fast, with good armor and a punchy gun, it is indeed in the meta.
@@Swordphobic, I do too... World of Warships has its own balance issues and pay2win strategy. It does seem less pay2win than World of Tanks...but I don't play the Tanks version...so hard to directly compare.
Jingles, it's arguable, if arty was "worse". You have to remember, that AP had to HIT you. Nowadays with mod called "battlehits", I check out sometimes who and where hit me, after the game. Arty splashes 2 tanks away for you (GWE100 or T92) for 400-500 damage, you're stunned + tracked + MINIMUM 1 crew member dies. It simply has become - they dont do 1 shots (which happened occasionaly) - they do consistant annoying damage. When there's 3 arties - nobody moves on any flank, nobody wants to get spotted, nobody does anything.
I'm extremely curious about what would happen if the gunbarrels in WoT and WT were to became PHYSICAL OBJECTS, that can get stuck on/in terrain and all kinds of objects. Just like in real life.
Well he was extreemly lucky, the IS-3 did fire He ad his last shot but it didnt do damage Also the fact that that he was shot in the side by the bourasque and the cent ax and blocked it multiple times shows that the armor on the Is-7 is still trollish as hell 2/3 of ammo loadout in heat... I play in e100 and still rarely use goldshells and still penetrate most of my shots... Well played tough, regardless of the luck and heat spam, you still have to make it work and this guy did it, be proud of it cause 10k damage and all those medals is still awesome o7 to you commander

The amount of HE rounds that they bounced, for the caliber of gun that fired it, I'm very very surprised he didn't die. He bounced 155mm, 128mm and 120mm HE without taking damage!?
And here we see perfectly how gold ammo has create the WGp2w, as without you dont even need to play the game. Imagine the woupd have pit that sheit into World of Warships
I haven't been paying attention to this game in a while, so i'm gonna have to ask, why is his total damage blocked not going up when he blocks HE shells? there were a couple of HE shells that hit him but didn't damage him and didn't damage any of his modules, so why doesn't it count? i mean, it doesn't show up as either damage blocked or any form of hit sustained in the log with the damage given/taken and it didn't even count towards the damage blocked by armor at the end there.
The gun got buffed some 3 or 4 years ago with a speed buff and is 7 still up to date i think. Yes, the sniping capabilities are not there, but this is a pure assault tank anyway.
Well, not quite laser accuracy but it was pretty good. Tried but never got to the one or 2 hit arty till much much later, and by then it was stun mechanics and arty is getting nerfed again
I'm still salty about the removal of AP shells from artillery if only because the only arty lines I played were the Germans and the French, both of which are characterized by extremely high accuracy and, in the case of the french, completely god-awful penetration and damage that meant that sometimes AP shells were the only option if you wanted to do any appreciable damage to certain targets. the AP on the T92 _was_ completely busted, though.
Getting oneshot by arty once every ten games..or getting spammed by them with the stun mechanic. I know what id pick, but hey i still play the game on a monthly basis.
Not just any Fadin's Medal. A legitimate Fadin's Medal, not having to spend shells just to reach that last one.
Even trying to setup for one is extremely difficult.
Got my first fadins 2 weeks ago in my t92 light tank. That was luck. It was a big game.

The turret is pretty unpennable. I have an IS-7 as well. If you am upwards though people can shoot into the gunbreach underneath the mantlet.
Yup can be penned on the right spot with High Pen (330+ near turretring / cannon)
My IS-7 doesn’t bounce anything, as soon as I’m spotted the entire enemy team looks at me with gold loaded ;-;

The last shell fired from the IS-3 was actually HE (530dmg blocked), but it did no damage to the IS-7s turret.
I wonder when Tier 11 'The Premier League' will arrive for all the modern tanks now in the game. I predict a big Tier change soon.

World of Warships has its own balance issues and pay2win strategy. It does seem less pay2win than World of Tanks...but I don't play the Tanks version...so hard to directly compare.

this is also another win harder video, 4 vs 1, all they needed to do was go to cap and set people up to ambush.
Jingles, it's arguable, if arty was "worse".
You have to remember, that AP had to HIT you.
Nowadays with mod called "battlehits", I check out sometimes who and where hit me, after the game. Arty splashes 2 tanks away for you (GWE100 or T92) for 400-500 damage, you're stunned + tracked + MINIMUM 1 crew member dies.
It simply has become - they dont do 1 shots (which happened occasionaly) - they do consistant annoying damage.
When there's 3 arties - nobody moves on any flank, nobody wants to get spotted, nobody does anything.
Best thing to watch after an annoying day
The last IS3 shell was actually HE, but it failed to do any damage.

I'm extremely curious about what would happen if the gunbarrels in WoT and WT were to became PHYSICAL OBJECTS, that can get stuck on/in terrain and all kinds of objects.
Just like in real life.

Well he was extreemly lucky, the IS-3 did fire He ad his last shot but it didnt do damage
Also the fact that that he was shot in the side by the bourasque and the cent ax and blocked it multiple times shows that the armor on the Is-7 is still trollish as hell
2/3 of ammo loadout in heat... I play in e100 and still rarely use goldshells and still penetrate most of my shots...
Well played tough, regardless of the luck and heat spam, you still have to make it work and this guy did it, be proud of it cause 10k damage and all those medals is still awesome

The amount of HE rounds that they bounced, for the caliber of gun that fired it, I'm very very surprised he didn't die. He bounced 155mm, 128mm and 120mm HE without taking damage!?

I haven't been paying attention to this game in a while, so i'm gonna have to ask, why is his total damage blocked not going up when he blocks HE shells? there were a couple of HE shells that hit him but didn't damage him and didn't damage any of his modules, so why doesn't it count? i mean, it doesn't show up as either damage blocked or any form of hit sustained in the log with the damage given/taken and it didn't even count towards the damage blocked by armor at the end there.

The gun got buffed some 3 or 4 years ago with a speed buff and is 7 still up to date i think. Yes, the sniping capabilities are not there, but this is a pure assault tank anyway.
It still needs a pen buff to be competetive. The 277 eats the IS7 alive due to the IS7's atrocious penetration

Back in 2012 where arty also had laser accuracy and would hit you with HE and one hit kill you in an E-75
Well, not quite laser accuracy but it was pretty good. Tried but never got to the one or 2 hit arty till much much later, and by then it was stun mechanics and arty is getting nerfed again
When I had my GW panther and one shot you're either dead or next too it, the Hummel was THE T V arty to have..

I'm still salty about the removal of AP shells from artillery if only because the only arty lines I played were the Germans and the French, both of which are characterized by extremely high accuracy and, in the case of the french, completely god-awful penetration and damage that meant that sometimes AP shells were the only option if you wanted to do any appreciable damage to certain targets.
the AP on the T92 _was_ completely busted, though.

If you face hug an IS7 with an E100 you can actually depress the E-100 gun into the turret hatches of the IS7.

Getting oneshot by arty once every ten games..or getting spammed by them with the stun mechanic. I know what id pick, but hey i still play the game on a monthly basis.
