This reaction is more than grammy to me. These Nigerian dudes have won many people's heart globally already. They do not need grammy for recognition at all.
I played the video for my Indian Boss and he invited some of his friends and we nearly had Holi at work. Afrobeats is truly a global language. Regardless of your colour, race and location, we all deserve a happy and peaceful world. Oya let us twe twe😂
Wow!! Glad that you love Nigeria afrobeats. I love Indian music and movies as well. I remember i watched Sholay, Burning train, Mother India, Dus numberi and many more in the 80's and i still watch to date the subtitled ones. I enjoyed watching Amitabhr Baccha, Dhamendra, Emma Malini, Amjad Khan, Shashi Kapoor, Zeeta and host of others. I had 2 Indian girlfriends about 13years ago. They were so lovely but i was not allowed to get married to any of them by their parents. I still love you guys.
To the two gorgeous presenters, Shayo simply means drunk or drunken. It’s a Yorùbá slang used mostly in the cities. The truth about your presentation is, you’re both lively and always on point.
You girls are hilarious like Nigerians 🇳🇬 . Though language may differ, AFROBEAT is a universal language. 🇳🇬 Nigeria has successfully made our turbulent world 🌎 go dancing 🕺 and smiling 😂😂😂. Blessings
You are right, the song is about twerking but they made the beat more cultural, and artistic. Including the tone. The beat is a Yourba traditional beat. And the sound mainly depict Yoruba cultural sound. And the lyrics you are reading is mainly composed in Yoruba tribe language mixed with pidgin English. Your farewell words " Odàbò " means good bye. Kudos to you guys
@Ahoto_papa_bi The talking drum is prominent to the Yorubas, they hail from the Western part of Nigeria. Those in the Nothern part of Nigeria are the Hausas
This is indeed the funniest video I have seen today, your understanding of Afrobeats sound and the lyrics is really intriguing. You earn a subscriber already. Thank you for what you do. Please do more reviews ......................
Growing up in Nigeria, we used to play twerk and it was ok by parents. It wasn't at all called twerk but many different names, depending on the locality and it wasn't as sexualised as it is today. Sadly, no child dares to do that in Nigeria in front of their parents these days because it has become something that's associated with many negative things
The ijaws tribe in southern Nigeria are known for twerking. It’s like a cultural thing for ijaw women. You know a traditional ijaw woman/person by twerking, but it’s not sexualized
@egbivwieabigail4936 sad. Every guy now wants every woman to twerk for them. Just friends or they don't know you, but once you are in a social gathering, bam they ask the woman to twerk. Cannot be me.
We would buy life animals like chicken, goat, lamb, turkey etc, a few weeks before a special events such as Birthdays, Christmas, Ramadan, naming ceremonies, weddings. The animals like the chicken in the video, would be generously fed and allowed to roam free (sometimes we would give the animals names as well). However come the day of reckoning, it is like the animals are aware of their imminent demise, so they run for their lives and so commence the great CHASE🤣
I happen to stumble on ur video just now. I said to myself wut are these two Indians doing here about Nigerian music. I just wanted to see it for a second before quickly dismissing y'all. The more i watched the more I watched. Then the reading of the lyrics came. The Mallam, Mallam with an Indian accent! That floored me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My goodness! U've got another subscriber right now! 👍🏾
You guys are so beautiful, and your laughs and smiles are very infectious. Not to talk of your in-depth analysis...Brilliant! it's a thumbs up from me.
You babes are simply Naija girls in Indian skin. You are hilariously nailing it. Keep the good work, keep lifting our moods, keep Twe tweing. Beni remain special.❤
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂.... The Lyrics is a combination of Yoruba Language (over 80%), English Laguage, Pidgin English and tit bits of Igbo language, all well spoken in Nigeria. Gof bless you for this reaction... itr's simply amazing and you are both so beautiful.🥰🥰🥰🥰
It's the reading of the lyrics (written in a mixture of Yoruba and English) for me. And wow! That "o dabi" to end this video. One love to you guys from
Your pronounciation is correct. Mo ti mu one, Im on two. Mo ni ki won gbe round 3 wa. I have drank one, now I am two and I have asked them to go bring round 3.
Owo mi po dada - I still have a lot of money. Omoge wa wo ghost (Beautiful girl come and enter the Ghost (Rolls Royce). Sare je kin toast (come quickly let me chat you up (toast you🤣)
