I'm a new player. Picked up fury warrior because it uses like 4 buttons and they have indication lights lol. Super user-friendly. As a new WoW player, I was still able to gear up in mythic DF dungeons with zero issues. Won't be topping any damage charts or be invited to any comps, but it doesn't hurt my brain.
I was reading the forums years ago and a guy made the following comparison: "arms is like a battlemaster, it wades in and smashes priority targets. Fury is your drunk uncle in a beer stained tank top, swinging a tire iron and broken beer bottle screaming at the top of his lungs."
Thought I'd pop this into here... Been messing around with Single-Minded Fury (still testing trees for it, but it SLAPS in PvP stupid hard). Stat Priority seemingly stays relatively similar, but Haste falls off a little quicker than Mastery, since it's One Handed Weapons. As such you start at Haste = Mastery > Versatility = Crit (like the norm). Once you're pumping Max Rage faster than you can spend it, haste falls to last. I've been doing over 100K DPS in M0 AoE Pulls (smaller AoE pulls about 70k), and about 35-40k on Bosses, at only 362 iLVL (369 MH, 353 OH). It's still very spammy, but I've found it helped to have a multi-button mouse with some hotkeys set to keyboard, so that I'm not wanting to scream in agonizing carpal tunnel pains. Basically, I have Bloodthirst and Raging Blow on Keyboard, and Whirlwind and Rampage on Mouse. Everything else is pretty standard keybinds. Quite a bit easier on my hands that way though. As of my current gear, I have: 21% Crit (1850) 17% Haste (2100) 26% Mastery (1850) 11% Versatility (1550) Looking to transfer about 200 Haste to Versatility, as I am always having wasted Rage right now. But yeah, just from random testing, it's severely out-DPS'ing Titan's Grip for me (and I have 2 372 Weapons for TG) which is roughly 10-15% less DPS in all scenarios for me (although, I think with higher stats, specifically Haste, this wouldn't be such a massive gap).
More or less just mentioning it, because I know a lot of Warrior Players have that distinct love for Old School Fury (with two One Handed Weapons), and who knows, maybe you're keen on giving it a shot.
Try the m+ Annihalator build off wowhead that plays without raging blow. Super fun for dungeons. The cleave rotation is fun in that you can pool your procs so that once you use your timed whirlwind you dump your procs. Because you whirlwinded before hand they all cleave. Windwalker / Havoc / Fury have been the most fun for me so far.
I feel like it would be cool if Guzu used the NugKeyFeedback addon while playing Fury, it shows the spells you use on screen and obviously Fury is just constantly mashing every single spell they have
I have developed hand cramps the last 2 years mastering fury. It feels great in DF and I have still yet to go under 30k overall damage with a 240k dps top end on massive pulls. Fury is face roll god atm imo
For AOE I open with Odyn's fury, whirlwind, raging blow(blood thirst if raging blow is not available, but raging blow has a chance to refund itself) till I have enough for rampage and usually rampage has a chance to refund raging blow, so I go back to raging blow but prioritize Execute if it's available. If nothing is available especially if I'm enrage I do onslaught. All the while keeping up with how many whirlwind cleaves I have in between rotation I get the 4 cleaves because using whirlwind every 2 cleaves just have me missing CD. If I really want to burst a group I drop Ravager, and Bastion Spear and you can also use recklessness and avatar at the same time or one after the other since odyn's fury has a talent that activates avatar. For single target everything's the same just without whirlwind. People think it's just pressing whatever lights up, but fury warrior is also about timing and prioritization like you said.
Fury is way more fun. Numbers always popping up, always something to press and super fun with full uptime. The downside is that it is super gear dependant and you end up having carpal tunnel
@@PrimarchRoboleonFrenchyman nothing to do with retail vs classic. They’re two completely different games. I don’t play retail and am not interested in watching content from it. His variety content was usually morning posts and only a couple times a week. I love guzu but I value my time spent watching TH-cam and even he can’t make retail entertaining (which is saying a lot) yeah, this is obviously my opinion and I’ve never said you weren’t allowed to enjoy new content
It seems fine for now, it just can't keep up with WW monks spamming Fists and Touch that seem to have a 4 second CD now. WW monks are the only ones I have had some trouble competing with
Fury is meant to be chaotic and "furious" as a berserker, living in the moment of battle therefor it is fast-paced where as Arms is an Arms-master and tactician, who deliberately places his hits, so it is slower and more precise.
Apparently its OP at max level but dps is shit at low level. destro lock does more dps at lvl 20 than my fury warrior does at lvl 30. same goes with enhance shaman 😂
Fury warrior is one of the worst specs in pvp right now. It's good for regular BGs. Other thsn that, it's hopeless. I really hope they fix it, because I don't want to play arms just to be viable to get glad. BTW, only 1 fury warrior is above 2200 right now.
2:00 Quite literally the exact opposite rotation as you suggest. Trash would be WW -BT - RB until no proc/CD - BT/WW (depending on how many mobs left) to fill for more multi target hits, at 4/5 RB stacks you Rampage. Retail is so easy the game literally tells you your rotation now... Look at the talents closer...
Dude needs to slow down. Maybe chill on that adderall imo. No addy then less of whatever you’re doing. I can’t even watch it lol. Gives me anxiety lol. Holy heck
I feel like Fury is one of those specs you can play easily on controller to avoid a severe case of Carpal Tunnel.
Switching between Raging Blow and Annihilator for mythics is good for carpel tunnel haha, annihilator actually has downtime! 😮
LOL
Dont give me these type of idea...

what is the addon for the damage numbers?
'Classic Floating Combat Text'

fury is just using an abililty every single global and if you miss a global you're just missing out on dps.
This is the first I actually get attached and love to play Fury. For my taste they did a great job with how the spec feels.
You didn’t even press your Beserker buff
You really cut the video just before you do the cool quests?!
