Sure, they made some mistakes, but that's literally why the diamonds aren't Radiants lol. Diamond is basically Silver but with experience, and 10% more understanding of the game. It's still not really an impressive rank. Around Ascendant is where it actually starts. I'm Diamond but I literally play the same way I played when I was Gold, I've just gotten a little lucky and if I were to return to Gold, I would 100% struggle getting out.

I think their issue actually lies in their communication and confidence. They are a 5-stack and should have a slight advantage as you don’t have to worry about randoms throwing or being idiots. However, they peek as though they have really good aim to benefit off the better communication. They unfortunately don’t and it shows. 22:00 is a pretty telling example. After the raze gets the kill on kayo, nobody attempts to trade. They are all still stuck looking towards CT. Look at Phoenix particularly and even viper. They might all deserve gold especially after more time playing together but for now, silver/gold is pretty much their rank. I also think the diamonds put on a pretty accurate example of enemies being cocky in both play style and comp. Not uncommon behavior in ranked.
I think they are in silver/gold because of their 5 stack, individually they all deserve to be in bronze. And they all have massive improvements to do in utility usage and game sense.

@@covikt674 A dive duelist is really important. A Jett or Raze can get out of a chokepoint relatively easy and play off of teammates utility on site. A Phoenix and Reyna can't do that since they can't go faster than any other agent.

The problem for team exotic is that they are really uncoordinated. Even as a 5 stack they don't plan anything out. If I were in their team, I would take advantage of being a 5 stack and just really plan the rounds out. For example, are we doing a default? Are we doing a full push? The diamond players on the other hand were very coordinated. For example, fade and raze combo their util, team does a full push on B after their raze satchel jumps. Their aim and just general ability to peek and frag is average for a silver but their game sense is very iron level. They don't even know how to NOT peek an angle with 5 enemies. Rarely I see them wait out util first. They literally peek A without any util or team support.
Honestly, especially on haven, the team comp sucked and the only good picks on that map were breach and kayo, however when there is no dive duelist to take advantage of the breach util, the breach pick becomes useless (So they should pick either Jett, neon or raze, if they want to continue with breach pick on haven).They should also scrap the viper picks on both maps and switch to the likes of omen or astra. If they do decide to keep the viper then they should switch out sage as viper acts as the sentinel controller hybrid, locking down site with her wall and mollies. You should 100% be picking chamber everytime on haven because of the number of off angles. On ascent they should pick killjoy or chamber.
Their issue is a general silver issue The duelist is not peeking I (silver controller main) am usually the first one to peek coz ik my smokes only last for a certain amount of time, but my teammates will go in later, then complain about not smoking site And I can't play duelist coz the team already instalocked 3 duelists and a sage for some reason, hence I just have to play controller
I feel like this team's biggest problem was that they would slow down, but in a 5 stack in A lobby or B main. Playing it slowly to gain info is great, but they gave the diamonds way too much space and when it came down to it, the Diamonds would crunch them. If you are going to play slow, you need to contest neutral ground or get a strong lurk.

It’s just that typically these players get matchmade with better players to balance the lobby so they still win often enough to stay. That said I dont think any of these groups deserve diamond or even plat and should stay gold until they can hold their own. the premade was doing good as their rank, but as a premade they forgot something so important like the coms, as some people have said, in the haven match, viper followed sage to get the heal, they can say "heal sage" and he should heal, or just paying attention to the hp of his teamates, i do this whit my friends, but i am bronze, and if i do this, a gold/silver player should know it, they did good job at picking, not baiting sometimes, and pick 2 or 3 at the same time, thats something good, but i think as the chat said, they miss an innitiator, you need one in every map, becouse they should give the information to do your next move, enter side or try kill one and then rotate or fake rotate

As a diamond 3 who smurfs in silver-gold lobbies every once in a while, most would stand a chance, theres a big rank difference for a reason. “We get smurfed on so we cant rank up” my brother in christ where did you think the smurf came from
tbh i think the only thing low elo players can do is use having smurfs in their lobbies whether they’re on the same team or enemy team is learn from them. I used to get try hard imm / dia smurfs in my silver lobbies all the time & instead of crying abt it and destroying my mental i’d try analyse how they’re playing and what they’re doing that makes them sm better than me. i’m d1 now and to this day i’m lowk glad i got smurfed on ☠️ i get smurfs make it 10x harder to play but you can take advantage of it and make it into a positive experience like that but people never see it that way.
@@loser9890 exactly. I got frustrated when I started playing valorant as I was bronze or whatever and I didn't really analyse what I was doing wrong. Now with videos that I watched that helped me increase my awareness and movement, peeking, game sense, and more, I was able to reach plat 1 as of now. Im not someone who blames games on shit teammates but sometimes when I'm playing cypher or kj, I get most of the kills as that agent and it makes me feel like it was my teammates fault sometimes. So for that I think I can get at least diamond 1.
idk how the most low elo player think that they deserve diamond or a higher rank when they get destroyed from smurfs in diamond or higher i just need to look at their crosshair placement to know that they are gold or lower but i would give them the tip to practise the crosshair placement, aim and try to get better gamesense to know what the enemys will do in different situations
I'm currently sitting at diamond 2. SoloQ all the way. From silver. I find it more fun learning to adapt to randoms scenario. 5stacking is cool. But it a headache. Idc what anyone says. If your team fail. Trust me there goes your friendship lol
This has happened to me before as well, used to be tight with some friends then broke it off, then they queued with a immo smurf and got boosted to diamond… but they were all ass… would love to see what rank they are now. Also I solo Q’d from iron to gold and still plan on making it higher, wish me luck :)
The amount of times i've heard silvers saying smurfs are holding me back is crazy. I made an alt just to show my friend the difference between diamond and silver just to give him a reality check that he aint as good as he thinks. The reality is if ur good enough for a rank you will get to it regardless of the odds in soloque. If ur rlly playing against smurfs that much you should be getting better just sayin lol
That used to be my mentality, I was hardstuck silver, and truly it is smurfs causing problems because even if you can kill them your team can't so if you get picked your team just falls. Managed to get to Plat 3 and like 20rr off from D1 rn, but I can say for a fact smurfs are such a big problem in lower ranks just cause your team can't handle them
Most players that say they're hardstuck need to be humbled. Yeah you might have decent aim for your rank but every rank upwards is a new level of experience you have to learn and develop habits for. This is a very good example of what happens with lack of experience against players who understand the games macro, 5 stacking on attack in mid to high elo you better believe you'll have a flank or push up mid for info. Low elo players know push, fail, rotate, that's it. On top of that low elo players don't know what comms are or what good comms are or what good a good comm means to be honest. It's all just lack of experience, once you're punished enough you'll learn not to do certain things, and after learning what's a good habit you will continue to do that more frequently and thus have a more positive outcome overall. Even in Ascendant 3 too many players rotate early or not buddy up and get run over by someone with better crosshair placement. If you REALLY care about ranking up then you need to become very self aware of how you play, know what you're doing wrong and work to fix it, if you need to fix your aim then do that in the range and deathmatch, if youre utility timing is bad then try and use it more in time with your team, keep an eye on the map, just realize your mistakes, get punished enough, adapt. Stuck becuz of smurfs?!? I Am Gold 1-2 and i have seen like 1 or 2 actually great smurfs in all of my 300 games of valorant comp. I cant understand how people actually say that they wont rank up cuz of smurfs.
They had like terrible team comps, terrible tactics, terrible coordination, most likely terrible comms and their team had very little firepower and i don't think I saw one time they had a read on the enemy. But sure, its smurfs holding you down

Diamonds are literally rearpeaking angles cuz they know their better and they are, all it takes is one kill for mentality to shift for both teams, silvers are playing too passively, if they thought they deserved diamond, they should be confident and put that into their actually physical state
Something every player needs to understand is all of us that have made it to higher elo with the exception of players who were pros in other games. Have been through elo hell have been smurfed on and have had teamates just like theirs. Low elo players have this mindset that it’s not their fault they can’t climb.
they need to work more on their comps , you can't always use viper on every map , in a certain maps yeah you will need to use here like icebox and breeze but also you will need one of sova, fade or kayo in all the maps
I agree, especially for a lot of the maps, the current meta is usually a double initatior comp, but with the viper pic you lose the crucial initiator pic that allows you to get early info
felt bad that my diamond bois were disrespectful to silvers :(( but still a great video egg, and for the hardstuck silvers and golds out there, just focus on improving yourself and forget about the smurfs, you'll rank up in no time
i have one request, whenever you do these "low rank wants to be higher rank so we made them prove it" videos, PLEASE don't interfere and just act like its a normal comp game. don't give them hints or coaching cuz were trying to see if they actually are worth the rank they want. Theese guys were indeed true silver/low gold players. 5 man stack. Nothing impresive on the strat side. Pretty weak tbh considering they were a full stack. Aim were really bad and also mechanical placements of abilities where also really poor and are stuff you see in mid silver to high bronze. They deffo dont deserve higher then gold 1 at max
The silvers did fantastic, they just need to work on communication, aim, map awareness, crosshair placement, eco management, pistol aim, awp flicks, grenade spots, pop flashes, positioning, bomb plant positions, retake ability, spray, skills use, control and getting kills
I'm new to the game, silver 2 and working my way up with my girl to gold. The ego is insane in these silver lobbies they never like to change game play up or strategies.. I try to learn and win each game as well as aim train and I'm still learning so much. These low elo lobbies have the grossest ego's it's funny to me.

Smite classic is one of the best gun skins in the game. The psychological damage to your opponents is HUGE. all jokes aside another great video as always. Panda is the best name. On paper haven is viper's worst map but she is actually really gimmicky and fun on haven. You just gotta not attack A site. Viper is 100% a phantom player almost no matter the map. I think the only map I would use vandal on depending on the site I am playing on would be breeze. Since the mollies double the damage because of vulnerable. 24:00 I believe that is a legit viper ult that he messed up. Although I usually ult backsite that way I can my back to the wall at all times.

the biggest issue is the viper imo, maining an agent is fine, for unrated. If you wanna climb ranks as a controller main you need to learn that certain controllers are better on certain maps, I played viper only for a while but once i started trying out omen and brim, i climbed. Viper smokes SUCK on haven, no heaven smokes, no retake smokes, not good, and not only that but she was putting her wall across half of c site, allowing them to gain control by pushing ct and garage. if she put her wall inside the garage push it would cover ct also, giving exotic full site control.
i feel like a lot of ppl in lower elo dont know that, shift walking through an angle makes it an ez kill, there's a strat to clearing angles like wide swinging them so that its harder to get killed
2 things that I notices (even though I'm iron) when I play with others higher than me and I kill them a couple times, then they get nervous usually. The silvers were all nervous and were panicking. 2 - they need to play for time. You can bait out kills cuz people will get impatient. It goes for both sides tbh but ya know

tbh i think the only thing low elo players can do is use having smurfs in their lobbies whether they’re on the same team or enemy team is learn from them. I used to get try hard imm / dia smurfs in my silver lobbies all the time & instead of crying abt it and destroying my mental i’d try analyse how they’re playing and what they’re doing that makes them sm better than me. i’m d1 now and to this day i’m lowk glad i got smurfed on ☠️ i get smurfs make it 10x harder to play but you can take advantage of it and make it into a positive experience like that but people never see it that way.
@@loser9890 exactly. I got frustrated when I started playing valorant as I was bronze or whatever and I didn't really analyse what I was doing wrong. Now with videos that I watched that helped me increase my awareness and movement, peeking, game sense, and more, I was able to reach plat 1 as of now. Im not someone who blames games on shit teammates but sometimes when I'm playing cypher or kj, I get most of the kills as that agent and it makes me feel like it was my teammates fault sometimes. So for that I think I can get at least diamond 1.

I'm currently sitting at diamond 2. SoloQ all the way. From silver. I find it more fun learning to adapt to randoms scenario. 5stacking is cool. But it a headache. Idc what anyone says. If your team fail. Trust me there goes your friendship lol
This has happened to me before as well, used to be tight with some friends then broke it off, then they queued with a immo smurf and got boosted to diamond… but they were all ass… would love to see what rank they are now.

The amount of times i've heard silvers saying smurfs are holding me back is crazy. I made an alt just to show my friend the difference between diamond and silver just to give him a reality check that he aint as good as he thinks. The reality is if ur good enough for a rank you will get to it regardless of the odds in soloque. If ur rlly playing against smurfs that much you should be getting better just sayin lol
That used to be my mentality, I was hardstuck silver, and truly it is smurfs causing problems because even if you can kill them your team can't so if you get picked your team just falls. Managed to get to Plat 3 and like 20rr off from D1 rn, but I can say for a fact smurfs are such a big problem in lower ranks just cause your team can't handle them

Most players that say they're hardstuck need to be humbled. Yeah you might have decent aim for your rank but every rank upwards is a new level of experience you have to learn and develop habits for. This is a very good example of what happens with lack of experience against players who understand the games macro, 5 stacking on attack in mid to high elo you better believe you'll have a flank or push up mid for info. Low elo players know push, fail, rotate, that's it. On top of that low elo players don't know what comms are or what good comms are or what good a good comm means to be honest. It's all just lack of experience, once you're punished enough you'll learn not to do certain things, and after learning what's a good habit you will continue to do that more frequently and thus have a more positive outcome overall. Even in Ascendant 3 too many players rotate early or not buddy up and get run over by someone with better crosshair placement. If you REALLY care about ranking up then you need to become very self aware of how you play, know what you're doing wrong and work to fix it, if you need to fix your aim then do that in the range and deathmatch, if youre utility timing is bad then try and use it more in time with your team, keep an eye on the map, just realize your mistakes, get punished enough, adapt. Stuck becuz of smurfs?!? I Am Gold 1-2 and i have seen like 1 or 2 actually great smurfs in all of my 300 games of valorant comp. I cant understand how people actually say that they wont rank up cuz of smurfs.
They had like terrible team comps, terrible tactics, terrible coordination, most likely terrible comms and their team had very little firepower and i don't think I saw one time they had a read on the enemy. But sure, its smurfs holding you down

Something every player needs to understand is all of us that have made it to higher elo with the exception of players who were pros in other games. Have been through elo hell have been smurfed on and have had teamates just like theirs. Low elo players have this mindset that it’s not their fault they can’t climb.
they need to work more on their comps , you can't always use viper on every map , in a certain maps yeah you will need to use here like icebox and breeze but also you will need one of sova, fade or kayo in all the maps

Aim were really bad and also mechanical placements of abilities where also really poor and are stuff you see in mid silver to high bronze.

The silvers did fantastic, they just need to work on communication, aim, map awareness, crosshair placement, eco management, pistol aim, awp flicks, grenade spots, pop flashes, positioning, bomb plant positions, retake ability, spray, skills use, control and getting kills
I'm new to the game, silver 2 and working my way up with my girl to gold. The ego is insane in these silver lobbies they never like to change game play up or strategies.. I try to learn and win each game as well as aim train and I'm still learning so much. These low elo lobbies have the grossest ego's it's funny to me.

Smite classic is one of the best gun skins in the game. The psychological damage to your opponents is HUGE. all jokes aside another great video as always. Panda is the best name.
On paper haven is viper's worst map but she is actually really gimmicky and fun on haven. You just gotta not attack A site. Viper is 100% a phantom player almost no matter the map. I think the only map I would use vandal on depending on the site I am playing on would be breeze. Since the mollies double the damage because of vulnerable. 24:00 I believe that is a legit viper ult that he messed up. Although I usually ult backsite that way I can my back to the wall at all times.

the biggest issue is the viper imo, maining an agent is fine, for unrated. If you wanna climb ranks as a controller main you need to learn that certain controllers are better on certain maps, I played viper only for a while but once i started trying out omen and brim, i climbed. Viper smokes SUCK on haven, no heaven smokes, no retake smokes, not good, and not only that but she was putting her wall across half of c site, allowing them to gain control by pushing ct and garage. if she put her wall inside the garage push it would cover ct also, giving exotic full site control.
I think for haven brim and omen are good the ascent and breeze are for viper.
24:04 it's a legit ult, you can stay in garage and then go back to c link to do lineups, you can do one lineup without ult being down.

2 things that I notices (even though I'm iron) when I play with others higher than me and I kill them a couple times, then they get nervous usually. The silvers were all nervous and were panicking.
