This is so precious of a video. I am fairly new to watching your lovely videos and I enjoy every single one. I especially love that you give the recipes for your mother’s cooking/baking. However, your time with your grandmother, and grandfather, seem to really touch my heart. As a little girl I sat with my grandmother and could listen to her stories, of long ago, for many hours. She told me, “You have an old soul, Melanie”. Time has moved on and my body has caught up with my soul 😊, but those moments with my grandmother linger on in my mind and heart. Your grandmother, grandparents, are a treasure. Keep those records as she has done. You will be thankful that you did. Thank YOU for sharing with us. 🙏🏼♥️

I also enjoyed the song playing around 4 minutes. Your videos are great and your grandmother is wonderful! I am 74 and have many hobbies and memories and souvenirs and photos from my life. I like to look through them. I also love classical music and play a little piano. I wish I had a grandchild who was interested enough to record me discussing my past, but my only grandchild lives far away and I don’t see her much, and she is busy with her own life. I will end up throwing away my possessions before I die as they don’t mean much to anyone else.

こんにちわ、初めて拝見しました。道内ですね、今年は昨年より春が早めに訪れましたね。御祖母さまとの時間大切にお過ごしの様子でうらやましいかぎりです。いろんな思い出や人生経験をしっかり聞いておけることは最高の孝行です。それを願ってもできない人が大半で、自分のその一人です。また拝見しますね。
1951年に、生まれた私ですが、その時に、短大に、行かれてたなんて、素晴らしい人生ですね。これからも、お元気で。動画楽しみに、しています。
