I was in the hospital last week and I just got out. I almost died. I prayed so much and so did my family along with my fiancé. I know it was God that got me back to where I am today. I'm not all better but I am alive!!! Praise god!!!!❤

I have had this song on repeat recently. I’m a teenage girl but I’m also a cheerleader and recently I have felt like I have to prove myself to my coaches. I have had 7 brain surgeries in my life so I have always worked so hard to be just as good as everybody else. (I have been cheering for 7 years.) I wanted to cry when I heard the line that says “Got nothing to prove anymore.” I’m done trying to prove myself. God loves me and I’m already proven in His eyes.

I was in pep squad, but it was all in the same group as tall flags, cheer, drill, etc. I was one of the loudest on the squad, but I can't perform certain movements due to my disability. Standing in the bleachers was difficult because I can't balance. My captain asked if it was better for me to stand on the ground because it doesn't vibrate like the bleachers do, so I didn't risk falling. Once I moved to the ground, it was easier to perform than it previously was in the bleachers. I needed to find the spot that was best for me. You made the squad, so you proved yourself at tryouts. There is absolutely nothing to prove after tryouts. Sure, you'll have jealous teammates, doubtful coaches, and losing teams who gossip. Don't make their issues your issues! You earned a spot on the squad, so enjoy the ride 📣🤸🏽♀️

So many times in the past several years I have tried to be somebody for everybody because I was raised to be a people pleaser and essentially a doormat. I'm slowly learning that God is the only One I have to please and I'm worth more than an object for people to wipe their muddy feet on. It's hard to learn to apply boundaries because users don't understand, but it's necessary! I love the first line of the chorus "don't gotta be somebody when I'm already somebody to You". I heard this song on the radio, and it was a confirmation. I try so much to be somebody based on society's criteria and standards. I am liberated from all these exhausting demands. I am somebody and special to the ONE who made me.
I'm homeless it's been 6yrs of living in tents,hotels and our vehicles. Currently we're ( my 2 grown sons ,my pomeranian, a cat and myself) are living in a car in the Walmart parking lot. The car isn't big enough for us all so my younger son(30 yr old bought a small tent so he can stay in the woods at night,during the day he works at whatever jobs he can find for that day). I'll be 59 February 27th. I lost my husband of 32 years almost 2 yrs ago to a stroke, I'm so broken without him.😢 It was 3 weeks after his passing that I had a bad day of crying all day,to the point that I just about cried myself to sleep. While crying I was saying over and over "I want my husband!" With tears drying up on my cheeks,my eyelids getting heavy I heard a voice,his voice "I'm here. " I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was my husband Brian. I smiled, said "I love you " and I fell asleep. I dreamed he came to me ,surrounded by a bright, white cloud. He held out his arms and I fell into them. We hugged for what seemed forever, then I stepped back looking at him. He seemed, younger slightly. Gone was any gray in his hair,it was black. His tan skin looked clear of any imperfections. Even the clothes he wore,a med blue pullover shirt and a pair of black jeans looked strange, the colors were so vibrant. I smiled at him,he seemed so happy. I thought to myself "He doesn't even know he's dead." At that he smiled, and tilted his head slightly and shook it from side to side as to say,"No I am not dead,I'm alive!" He's with our Heavenly Father. Amen. And I know that whatever I have to go through while here on Earth that our Heavenly Father is with me . Amen

As someone with no many friends because I just can't seems to connect and have a lasting friendship/relationship, I have to keep to reminding myself that I am important to God.
