This was exactly the information I was looking for to determine if a tight connection time was logistically possible with the terminal layout, thank you!!
Try to have enough time between flights, I would say 2 hrs at least to be safe, when the Cdmx Airport is busy, workers move very slow at the check point
I'm flying to Guatemala with Aeromexico with a connection in Mexico City this Friday. I'm traveling from San Antonio, Texas to Guatemala City with a connection in Mexico City. Going to see my Grandma on my mother's side that lives in Guatemala for her 91st birthday. Her birthday is January 1st.
Arriving on an international flight, is there any duty free purchase upon arrival? If so, is it possible to buy liquor and then carry it onboard to your connecting domestic flight? . I'd assume not, since you must clear security (unless they use special security sealed bags).
As far as I’m concerned, there aren’t any upon arrival. However, you will find them once you’ve cleared everything and are back in the terminal to catch your next flight.
hello and thanks for the video very helpful! We will be traveling from Juarez, Mexico airport to Mexico city airport. Is that considered a domestic flight? If it is I will not have to go through those long lines?
@@rubenpanchito4223 it was easy. We crossed the border from El Paso into Juarez since we live in El Paso. Once we get to Juarez, we had to stop to get our permission document to be in Mexico. You just show them your passport and fill out the permission card you are given there. They even help you fill it out. After that we just got a taxi to the Juarez airport.
Quick question . I have a domestic connection flight , in mexico with aero Mexico . Do I need to collect my luggage when arriving at the first stop or do I just go directly to my connecting flight ?
I don’t know where you are arriving from. If you arrive from abroad, you’ll have to clear immigration and customs. If you arrive from elsewhere in Mexico, you just walk to your gate. In neither of the cases you have to collect your luggage. If the itinerary is with the same airline, they’ll drop it off to your final destination.
Thanks for this video! This helped me compile some info for myself and others a few weeks ago prior to our visit to Mexico.
I’m glad you found it useful!

Exactly. If you are arriving from another city in Mexico, you will not have to go through those lines.

Mm
