I don't want to be that sort of guy, but a bit of advice to Dave, (which I'm giving because I've written, shot and edited a couple of short films and I learned a few tricks): Look into the camera lens a lot more. Look into the centre and imagine there's a tiny person there that you're talking to. You're looking at Evelyn for your cues a little too much while talking and it becomes noticeable after a while; you're supposed to be talking to us, the audience. I don't know if you guys have a written script or talking points, but if you don't look towards the camera, and conversely the audience, then you lose the personal touch. Evelyn has it nailed, she knows when to look at the camera/audience to make it seem like she's including the audience in a conversation, while timing her eye contact with Dave just right to make it seem like they're talking to each other as well as us. One trick I'd suggest is that when Dave is reaching the end of his sentence/dialogue, with a couple of words left, instead of looking to Evelyn all the time to cue her, you should make a particular hand gesture, such as flicking your wrist, without looking at Evelyn, since she's already looking at you when you're speaking. Over time you'll discard the need for this hand gesture. I am merely suggesting things here, and it is out of a desire to see you people succeed because I value your opinions. I hope you guys take this criticism as being constructive. All the best.

Very interesting - thank you. Having shot with an X-T20 for a little over a year, I can't say that I'd want to upgrade to the X-T3 given that I'm entering the video world and funds are tight. Point is, the smaller camera has been phenomenally good. In the late 1990s I had a Fuji digital DS-300 - wow, 1.3 megapixels. It may have been limited, but it was well-made; I always wondered if Fujifilm would eventually enter the DSLR field and do something exemplary. Having used Canon/Nikon FF, I respect what they've done, but Fujifilm is giving us amazing tools at amazing prices. If I did get an X-T3 I wouldn't be even remotely tempted to upgrade my 18-55 and 55-200 lenses - they are superb pro gear.
I have the same zooms and they really perform beyond what I expect. Use them for lots of stuff including photographing humming birds. My only gripe is that they could be sharper, but of course that will always come at a cost. The IS is insanity.

Looooved this video! Just Got my own Fujifilm X-T3 and your videos are part of the reason. I actually did a video with my first impression of the camera, and I gotta day, I was surprised. I’ve used canon my whole photography life, but it’s always felt like the shoe didn’t quite fit right with me. The style and feeling of canon just wasn’t my cup of tea. Now the shoe finally fits and I feel more motivated than ever, with my Fuji xt3.
This is the Canon and Nikon killer. Even Sony is starting to sweat a little. I finally said goodbye to Canon and ordered this in the silver edition and I cannot wait to shoot with it. I still shoot film as well so having the manual dials on top, the retro look, and the film simulations will make me feel right at home. I love Fujifilm and I don't even have the camera yet
The AF on the X-T3 is greatly improved, but now in the context of the X-T3 does the X-T2's continuous focus now feel like a not quite complete camera, as the X-T1 always did, or is the X-T2 good and the 3 just better?
TheCameraStoreTV That would be great! As I mostly shoot still...I want to know Dynamic range compare to XT2 as well as Iso performance. Great review guys! No IBIS and the same old battery are a bit of a bummer on an otherwise amazing camera but I’m hoping their X-H2 will address these and be the perfect hybrid camera whenever it drops.
I know that a lot of people are saying this, but I'm not so sure: I have billions of 126s so it's convenient to have compatibility - especially since there's a USB external pack option, too. Also, I think that no IBIS is fine as long as the X-H2 and X-H10 continue with it - otherwise it raises the price+size and adds an extra point of malfunction for those that don't need to shoot video or stationary subjects in the dark.
Hey guys, nice review! I’d like to know how well its dynamic range is and where it stands among the FF Sony a7iii. The new features looks really amazing especially for someone who shoots sports photography but for landscapes, can the XT3 provide good dynamic range and maintain details and low noise in post process?
The DR looks very good. Based on what we have seen/heard, it might have the best APS-C DR released so far. I was pleased pushing shadows and highlights on the jpegs... But, we don't have RAW support for the new sensor yet, so we can't compare the files to Sony side by side.
Rodrick HD those are all pretty different cameras. You need to figure out your specific needs more before anyone can give you a sensible recommendation. You want FF? Apsc? Mirrorless? Investments in glass?
Rodrick HD If you are doing urbex in buildings with no electricity and no lights, you may have to consider how this will affect your images. A full frame will net you better low light results at the cost of price and weight. If mobility is more of a concern to you, apsc will be lighter and cheaper at the cost of image quality. However, the more modern the camera is the more it will be optimized by current tech, so keep that in mind when comparing old and modern cameras. I would say Sony apsc glass is the worse investment compared to Canon full frame lenses, although that story changes if you are considering Sony full frame. Personally I left my Nikon Dx for Fuji because of dedicated Apsc lens line ups.
Wdata Consulting Fuji only have OIS on their lenses that really needed to be stabilized. Of course macro and telephoto will have it. Expensive or not depends on which lenses you’re comparing to. Their price is considerably good..no matter how big the sensor, faster lens will always more expensive. If you want cheaper they have the “Fujicron” f2 lenses, and there’s also XC lenses for beginner that even cheaper.
Point made, however, as a videographer, I'm not as interested in prime lenses. Something along the lines of the Fuji 18mm -55mm, from the reviews I've seen, would be my choice.
OK, enough! I expressed my point of view. Why does it always end up with "intelligent photographers???" I guess, I'm stupid... Perhaps Sony is a more "intelligent choice."
IBIS again!!!? Plus a correction: This is a photography camera + video functions (because the competitors have and all you reviewers wants to find a flaw - vloggers), not video camera. While battery is an issue; I did shoot 1k photos during an 2 hours event with a single battery (would have to take the second battery had it went 15 more minutes). I didn't see the desperate need for IBIS in any of the photos you've shown. It's "nice to have" for photography, but not a deal breaker.
Forgive me if this is common knowledge... Just ordered X-T3. Looking at video rig accessories. Is there a specific weight limit of the hot shoe? For mounting on top, as well as carrying (top handle)?
Does this have any kind of equivalent to Sony's phone app for wireless remote control/viewing/etc? That's a pretty important feature, even if this as a camera does beat the piss out of Sony's A6500.
Is it ok for the camera get wet that much? Thinking about getting this but if the XT3 can handle that splash then can it handle sudden rain situations?
Jace Castillo Amazing. It will be able to handle rain/humidity. Just be careful around saltwater.

So just sold my NX1 system. Haven't decided yet which way to go next? Fujifilm looks to be a nice system to play with. :) Still waiting for the a7s3 to be anounced before making a decision. But I'm sure Fuji X-T3 will have a more compelling price...
Thanks guys. Great camera, I would say best APSC camera out right now. Is there any overheating issues? What's the continuous record time? How many batteries do you have to swap out while recording 4k? Also how is low light autofocus? Thanks!
We didn't have any overheating issues. Continuous record time is 15 mins in 4K. We used 5 batteries for a very full day of shooting a combo of stills (with boost mode) and video clips with lots of menu checking and chimping. You can also use an external battery pack.
Great review guys but as a Still's photographer I prefer this type of screen I'm running a pair of hard working T2's and use tripods a lot, I do feel these armchair critic's that shout no ibis no flipy screen have not learnt to take a photograph the breathing control that I was shown 48 years ago, I do believe if you want all the Bell's and whistles go for the XH line, thank god Fuji remains loyal to Still's .
Doubly-so when there are so many affordable options from Fuji and others (and now high-end compact externals like the Atomos Ninja V, too). I've enjoyed cameras with vario-angle displays, yet I prefer how Fuji's align the axis with the lens, and afford compact positioning. These guys mentioned that they needed a vario-angle for their channel, so they got an X-T100 in addition to their X-H1; problem solved: th-cam.com/users/GeminiConnectDigitalvideos
Thanks for the review! I do a lot of indoor action in the theater and I need the silent electronic shutter. Have you noticed any rolling shutter issues? Thanks!
Can you charge the battery through the USB c port? If so what about when you put the grip on? Does the USB c charge the batteries in the grip too or do you need to use the separate charger for the grip? Is the uncropped 4k the same quality as the xt20 which was worse than the xt2? (The xt20 didnt crop in 4k similar to this xt3 but the quality was lower than the cropped xt2)
You can charge through USB C in camera. You need a separate charger for the grip that we didn't get for the samples so we charged up batteries inside the camera. No, the 4K is an improvement in terms of quality over the XT20 and XT2.
looks like a great camera. Nice review. I like your energy, I'm glad this is a positive channel. Also 10 bit 422 is pretty amazing. They will give panny a run for their money.
TheCameraStoreTV Any chance Panasonic can partner with Samsung to make their camera app and Samyang to make their cheap lenses and Sigma to make their Art lenses? Then they can launch with a full line up.
Since it has the X-H1 beat as far as the new sensor, and, no word on the X-H2, for me I am considering trading my X-H1 for the X-T3. I shoot mainly landscape, cityscape and occasional portrait, nothing else. But, I will wait for all the bugs to get cleared up with firmware updates and more stock to get produced. I love the silver and black because it reminds me of my first camera, Pentax, back in the late 70's.
Well done, best video you have done, since the change over. As for the X-T3, I am a mix of very excited and disappointed that they didn't put the tech into the X-H1, which would have been a massive improvement for video. Will I buy the X-T3, I am 50/50. I love IBIS and I much prefer the ergonomics of the X-H1 (except the Q button, which I keep hitting), so there is a good chance I will wait until the X-H2, which should be awesome, though won't be released for at least a year or maybe longer.
Thank you. We put quite a bit of time into this one. It will be exciting to see what the next generation brings. At least if you were to make a move now, you can feel confident that you could resell your gear when the next one is released. Fuji's do well on the used market.
How do you know that Sony eye AF is still better? You'd have to compare them side by side in the same situation and then compare the files in LR to see how many shots nailed the focus on the eye. Also, eye AF works in video too on X-T3, the Sony's don't have that.
Well I happen to go to my local camera store that had a Fuji Rep present and compared it to my A7III and my A6500 and the X-T3 was laggy and hit way more Eyebrows,Cheeks and Noses, and forget about tracking anything that is moving. The X-T3 is a very nice camera at its price point for sure. It just still a bit slow on AF than my Sony's. Plus it is a pain to fiddle with the top dials while looking through the evf. It's just a slower experience. I would never be able to shoot Street in manual and rely on the EyeAF to nail the shoots at F1.4 like I can with the Sony's.
@Foto4Max Again.. you need to do a side by side comparison to really be able to judge the difference. Anything else is just speculation. Statements like "nowhere near" is highly speculative. The proof is in the raw files. Checking focus on the eye with multiple C-AF runs on both cameras is the only way to objectively test the difference.
LOL butthurt Fuji fan? Any Sony user that has Eye AF on the latest gen of cameras can tell right away, that one is not nearly as good. But hey, is still better than the competition so good for Fuji to be working on it unlike Nikon for example
Ibis is GREAT for video and photos alike! It takes the experience to another level. Ibis will be the norm, and i'm so happy how many have adopted it by now. X-T3 didn't, which is a real shame! But the photos and video look excellent, so they really nailed here in many other levels. Good stuff!
Thing is, the XT-3 body is a little too small for Fuji to fit in the IBIS system. I have not used an IBIS system myself ever, but I have seen the difference in results and it will eventually become a common thing. Obviously the X-H2 is going to have IBIS and be a video monster when it comes out next year or the year after that.
You should try it. I found it really isn't very useful for still photography if your shooting events, sports or landscapes with fast lenses or using a tripod. I can see the benefit for video or using cheaper & slower kit lenses but it obviously doesn't freeze action and isn't the holy grail that some people make it out to be.
@Akshay Anand My A6500 and A7III fit IBIS and was so nice to have any lens I put in front of it 5 axis stabilized. All my vintage glass (FD, Pentax, Zeiss, Nikon, etc.) I can shoot with such a lower shutter and be able to lower the ISO for way better IQ. I will not buy another camera without it. As a photographer I would get the X-H1 at $1600 over this.
@@OutlawFarmersRC like I said, no experience with IBIS, so I'll take your word for it. I know the a6500 has had IBIS for two years, but I'm prepared to cut Fuji slack because this camera is damn near perfect otherwise. And I know the X-H2 is gonna have IBIS anyway so this will benefit those who don't want IBIS because of one reason or another.
Nice review. I can't freakin believe you dipped the camera into the river lol btw may I suggest: at the last part where you're holding the X-T3's, because both of you wear dark clothing and hold black cameras there is very little contrast and its not very visible. It would help to wear light colored clothing in order to create some contrast between you and the product. Cheers
Holy crap... the expense these companies are going through to get TH-camrs to sell their product is amazing. I mean it's a great investment from their perspective, cheaper than running ads, but DANG. What a world we live in, I'm jealous.
Fuji X-T3 looks a more pleasurable camera to use than the Sony A7III. Pros for Sony A7III though are mainly the battery life, ISO, full frame and Image stabilization. Cons not weatherproof, over complex menu and durability issues. Where as the Fuji seems far more durable, has some waterproofing. Colours are better and generally more of a pleasure to use. Battery and image stabilization are negs it seems. Flip a coin? Tough call.
I think the lenses are too expensive for what they are. I find the Sigma 1.4 aps-c lenses with the a6500 at a fraction of the cost superior. You spend more money on lenses than a body so just get great lenses and the results will be fine. Recently I compared the results of my a7riii with the 24-105 f4 lens and the canon 5d mk iv with the same lens and it was surprising how very little difference in quality there was. The new a7siii will be coming out and i'm sure it will have the same sensor as the a9 with 10 bit internal recording and then everyone will start jumping to that. I suppose it keeps an industry in business and also a lot of youtubers busy writing reviews.
We did not see it overheat. It has a 15-minute 4K cutoff and we were shooting fairly short clips so we never got close to the cut-off. That would be a good test for a future mirrorless shootout.
OK, I will be hated for saying this, but I cancelled my pre-order for the X-T3. I really disliked the stiffer controls, especially the now recessed and very stiff exposure compensation dial. It really sucks! Maybe the X-T30 will be the answer.
it might be difference in video recording, but there is no difference in pictures between previous and this model. And please if you making a test pictures on some cameras can you test it with showing natural pictures, without any lightnings, and back flashes, cause with them even iphones photos will be almost identical. Natural light shows cameras improvements or minuses.
It is funny when i see this focus features, specially that Olympus made them 3-4 years ago, just now Fuji and other makers reach to make it available in their camera models, non of the vlogers who attend the latest Nikon, Canon and Fuji events mentioned Olympus as the first company invented this features.
Nasser Younes Just now? This is not the first fuji camera to implement focus peaking. I’d rather them include it than leave it out because theres an off chance that they’re going to offend Olympus.
Great review; you guys had fun! I want one. But, I don't have any Fuji cameras except and X70 which I love so I'm actually thinking of saving the $400 and buying an XT-2 while they are lowered in price. I have to move away from my Canons due to shoulder issues and I think Fuji is just what the doctor ordered.
I am getting older and have some aches and pains and have been shooting fuji for the past few years...they make cameras that people want to use...and so much lighter than full frame gear...my body thanks me
All do this camera looks amazing, I'll buy it only if I really really need it, course I'm totally happy with my XT2, I guess I'll rather wait for the XH2...
Is this a promotion or a review? The back controls are identical to X-T2, which means the problems are the same: - AF-On and AE-L buttons are mostly unusable: too small and flash with the body. People have to come up with ridiculous modifications. - The positions of the joystick and Q button ideally should have been switched. - The compensation dial is largely useless for manual shooters. It could be assigned functionality, e.g. shutter speed adjustments for the intermediate steps that are not available on the main shutter dial.
Vitaliy Gyrya Customizable comp dial sounds amazing... as for back button af, I use the function button on the front of the camera for that without issue
I don't understand all this hype about flipping screens...ok, there are some benefits for video, but is really awkward for stills, you have to flip out the screen every time you want to tilt it, which takes time, doubles the footprint and it's cumbersome to hold. Run and gun, shooting from hip height, it's an nightmare. Good for Fuji keeping the tilt screen.
You guys are a little late with this... But I see you had a great time eh. Nice work! Edit: I haven't seen the Full HD HFR mode's crop being mentioned anywhere else, so good job on that! And seeing Fujifilm's track record with Firmware updates, I know some more cool stuff will be along sometime in the next year or so for this little monster.
Joe O'Connor yeah. It would be a lateral move financially but with A7siii coming soon at least Sony gives me a solid upgrade path. What I like the most with the Xt-3 is be build quality, price and color. I love my a7iii but I DO wish I could shoot in the same color profile for ANY scene and not think twice. For Fuji I would just leave it in Eterna and call it a day.
Don't. I shot with one at a pre-release last week. The auto focus and eye-detect are not on par with the Sony, the battery life is still terrible, no IBIS really is a big omission, and that great burst mode is not that great because the buffer fills in a flash. The Fuji's are more fun to shoot with (I own an X-Pro-2 and four lenses) but the Sony's are technologically superior in ever way. Fuji has this tactile sensation that is hard to beat, but don't dump your Sony just yet.
All that video, and Thanks Editor! At least one person thought to put in a freeze frame of the Heli for the Sensor Scan Skew - Hosts needed to discuss that in video, and stills of course. Don't recall any info on Frame Rates and Frame Sizes available ????? Does it do 4K, Does it have recordable HDMI? These questions should be on EVERY video part of a test. And, Splash test? :D :D :D Laaaaame. Pentaxians look on and laugh, come back to us when you do a photoshot under a waterfall :D Thumbs Down for lack of information on the video performance.
I'll have another look, why wasn't it in the same section of the video where they were discussing video features, around the 2 minute mark? Any info on how much rolling shutter skew there is when shooting without a gimbal ?
Some of the main specs are applicable to both photo and video so we mentioned both early on then did the more in-depth video overview. It seems to have very little rolling shutter.
I am not into video, but looking for a walk around for days on end, when traveling. What kind of IQ does this have since you skipped right over this aspect.
We didn't cover it since we don't have RAW support for the new sensor's files yet. But, DR looks great on jpegs so far so we suspect it will be excellent.

I would say Sony apsc glass is the worse investment compared to Canon full frame lenses, although that story changes if you are considering Sony full frame. Personally I left my Nikon Dx for Fuji because of dedicated Apsc lens line ups.
At this price, and with these features, I may need to re-think my Sony leanings...
Think about lenses too. Fujinon is just great!
@Wdata Consulting Fuji released the 80mm macro with OIS
For mounting on top, as well as carrying (top handle)?
what a great review for a great camera , the looks of the pictures and videos are awesome, thanks for your review !
Ugh I want this camera, but I was hoping to upgrade from my 80D to full frame. I need to see what Fuji lenses to get.
I was freaking out afterwards. But, it's been 5 days since the "splash" and it's still going strong. So yeah, it can handle it. :)
Thanks, i'll be travelling Southeast Asia so this is a + for me.
Really facinating, I'm think of changing to Fujifilm
Thanks guys. Great camera, I would say best APSC camera out right now. Is there any overheating issues? What's the continuous record time? How many batteries do you have to swap out while recording 4k? Also how is low light autofocus? Thanks!
We didn't have any overheating issues. Continuous record time is 15 mins in 4K. We used 5 batteries for a very full day of shooting a combo of stills (with boost mode) and video clips with lots of menu checking and chimping. You can also use an external battery pack.
Thanks guys!
Also small nitpick the xt100 does tilt toward the front but I don’t think it’s fully articulating
Thanks for the review! I do a lot of indoor action in the theater and I need the silent electronic shutter. Have you noticed any rolling shutter issues? Thanks!
Very minimal rolling shutter. It's impressive.
@@TheCameraStoreTV I really appreciate you guys getting back to me. Thank you.
looks like a great camera. Nice review. I like your energy, I'm glad this is a positive channel.
Also 10 bit 422 is pretty amazing. They will give panny a run for their money.
They really did. But, Panny is still in this game. We'll have to wait and see what they do next.
TheCameraStoreTV Any chance Panasonic can partner with Samsung to make their camera app and Samyang to make their cheap lenses and Sigma to make their Art lenses? Then they can launch with a full line up.
martinS S Hummm. Sounds like a dream team.
I think fuji got it right. Love the vid thank-you. 🇨🇦
Thanks Peter!
This is another thorough and nicely balanced review.
Good Morning,
my XT3 will be delivered tomorrow :)
I am very excited and will report.
Thank you very much for the video!
Best regards
Maik
Well done, best video you have done, since the change over.
As for the X-T3, I am a mix of very excited and disappointed that they didn't put the tech into the X-H1, which would have been a massive improvement for video. Will I buy the X-T3, I am 50/50. I love IBIS and I much prefer the ergonomics of the X-H1 (except the Q button, which I keep hitting), so there is a good chance I will wait until the X-H2, which should be awesome, though won't be released for at least a year or maybe longer.
Sounds like an X-H2 for you then, it's pretty much guaranteed to be this camera but in the larger body and with IBIS and second screen.
Thank you. We put quite a bit of time into this one.
It will be exciting to see what the next generation brings. At least if you were to make a move now, you can feel confident that you could resell your gear when the next one is released. Fuji's do well on the used market.
Very comprehensive review. Thanks!
At least they tried with the EyeAF. It's still not as good or as fast as the Sony's. Looks to be a great camera.
How do you know that Sony eye AF is still better? You'd have to compare them side by side in the same situation and then compare the files in LR to see how many shots nailed the focus on the eye. Also, eye AF works in video too on X-T3, the Sony's don't have that.
Yeah that eye overlay does not tell you 100% if you got it or not.
Great video guys! 🙌🏻
even though XT3 is tempting, but i just got xt20 three months ago, probably ill keep it, XT4 two year later will be blast
I'd love to know how the % of people who moan about ibis & video specs compared to the % of people who actually shoot video regularly.
Great overall review and nice meeting you both in Toronto! Wasn't Hotel X an awesome venue?
It was so great meeting you too. Hotel X was very cool!
You guys are true Canadians.
Hi. Not saying anything against you folks, not you in particular at least, but how camera companies treat "reviewers" is really disturbing.
Loved your hands-on. Super nice and interesting.
I think this camera is really taking on the GH5 and G9 Lumix.
I wouldn't be surprised if we had a XT3- low light version in the works soon too.
Great job. It's a shame about the IBIS, but the camera really does score in IQ and feel. I can't wait to get mine.
Great review, Fujifilm cameras are right up there against Panasonic and Sony, pity about IBIS or lack of it.
Thank you. Yes, we agree. They're doing an amazing job.
Very nice review ....... and great photos by the way ... Fujifilm should use your shots for their promos :-)
Thanks Ammar!
The photos look superb. Now I have to buy it, darn... :(
Nice camera but who styled Dave's hair?
I love Fuji but... That or the a7iii? Both are amazing...
Enmy Myen FF, better (?)eye af, and ibis vs portability, ergonomics and lower cost.
If you want to have a nice evf, take the Fuji.
Nice review. I can't freakin believe you dipped the camera into the river lol
btw may I suggest: at the last part where you're holding the X-T3's, because both of you wear dark clothing and hold black cameras there is very little contrast and its not very visible. It would help to wear light colored clothing in order to create some contrast between you and the product.
Cheers
Haha. It was a little freaky...We will keep the shirt thing in mind. We should probably get Dave into some bright pastels. ;)
Holy crap... the expense these companies are going through to get TH-camrs to sell their product is amazing. I mean it's a great investment from their perspective, cheaper than running ads, but DANG. What a world we live in, I'm jealous.
Very nice video. I wonder how awesome a full frame from Fuji would be if they released something like this.
Tough call.
Yes, my xt1 and xt3 makes the art of photography fun again, Fuji rocks at making taking photos fun.
How about heat issue when doing a video? Is the camera can handle it?
We did not see it overheat. It has a 15-minute 4K cutoff and we were shooting fairly short clips so we never got close to the cut-off. That would be a good test for a future mirrorless shootout.
@@TheCameraStoreTV thanks for the information, I wish you guys will compare xt3 with gh5 and gh5s for the next video, you guys awesome..
Very nice photos; can't believer that's what comes out straight from the camera; what is its dynamic range?
We will have a better idea when RAW support comes out. So far, it is looking really good!
OK, I will be hated for saying this, but I cancelled my pre-order for the X-T3. I really disliked the stiffer controls, especially the now recessed and very stiff exposure compensation dial. It really sucks! Maybe the X-T30 will be the answer.
It's always a personal choice. That's why there are so many different styles of cameras. You do you. :)
I know, but I really did fancy this camera. It looked perfect.
Kai would be proud of your water throwing test.--lol
Really Well Done Review
it might be difference in video recording, but there is no difference in pictures between previous and this model. And please if you making a test pictures on some cameras can you test it with showing natural pictures, without any lightnings, and back flashes, cause with them even iphones photos will be almost identical. Natural light shows cameras improvements or minuses.
Great Video, like always 😉 greetings from Germany
Thanks. We can't wait to visit Germany for Photokina!
what about aperture ring on lenses? is it lockable aswell??? NO
I ve just been to the store and check cameras… Sony hmmm looks like little toys, Canon, Nikon bulky, Fuji gorgeous!!
I always said that I thought Sony's are Toys
Boost Mode works on the X-T2 WITHOUT the Booster Grip.
Great content on XT-3 rumors has it that 26.1MP sensor is the revised Samsung NX1 sensor
The X-T2 is a very solid camera and would be a great way to get into Fujifilm. You might even be able to find one used for a good price.
I am getting older and have some aches and pains and have been shooting fuji for the past few years...they make cameras that people want to use...and so much lighter than full frame gear...my body thanks me
Great Video!!
All do this camera looks amazing, I'll buy it only if I really really need it, course I'm totally happy with my XT2, I guess I'll rather wait for the XH2...
By the way in 3 years since I'm shooting with FujiFilm cameras, I had NEVER knocked the diopter. Ever.
great review. thanks.
Thank you. :)
The Camera is amazing the review is shit.
Great review... once some smart engineer invent a new monster battery this camera would have it all... //freddie
Nice video, thank you.
Thanks Edwin!
Nice review! Next time you could add some details of the autofocus and iso performance.
Agreed. This is more like hands on preview.
Thanks for the feedback. We will keep trying to go more in-depth with our reviews.
you guys are great x
Is this a promotion or a review?
The back controls are identical to X-T2, which means the problems are the same:
- AF-On and AE-L buttons are mostly unusable: too small and flash with the body.
5:17 the Lumix B&W look better
Where is Kai? Bring back Kai !
I hope to get one❤❤❤❤
You guys are a little late with this... But I see you had a great time eh. Nice work!
Edit: I haven't seen the Full HD HFR mode's crop being mentioned anywhere else, so good job on that!
And seeing Fujifilm's track record with Firmware updates, I know some more cool stuff will be along sometime in the next year or so for this little monster.
Rather than rushing out a quick preview, we wanted to test the camera in as many situations as we could before sharing our opinions.
@@TheCameraStoreTV and the review is better for that.
Fujifilm XH-2 will kill it
The camera with attaching battery grip (which is absolutely necessary) is simply less beautiful contrary to what you say.
O.k:) you are nice people!!! I like you from now, like family:)
Awe that's sweet. Thank you.
Honestly, I’m considering trading in my a7iii for this.
The Alpha Nerd the thought has briefly crossed my mind.
Ugh me too and I've barely used my a7iii since I got it.
At the price of this camera it's not a bad idea at all! This thing is amazing.
4:08 Great shot!
Thanks! I'm a little biased since I'm their auntie. But, I was very happy with how this little photoshoot turned out.
That would explain why they all look so happy and relaxed. They clearly like their auntie :-)
Great video! But I think you forgot to talk about one lens ;)
Too bad it don't have IBIS,and the 16-55 F2.8 also don't have IS,I think I’ll just wait for A7000 or A6700.
Pentaxians look on and laugh, come back to us when you do a photoshot under a waterfall :D
Thumbs Down for lack of information on the video performance.
Uhh. See 6:07 when Dave talks about 4K at 60fps followed by Evelyn talking about recording 10 bit 422 to HDMI.
Fuji + IBIS is called XH1. The XT3 is a different story.
Battery issue........higher speed cards and the strap clip are important issues !!!! If FUJI is listening why don,t they take appropriate action ?
I am not into video, but looking for a walk around for days on end, when traveling. What kind of IQ does this have since you skipped right over this aspect.
We didn't cover it since we don't have RAW support for the new sensor's files yet. But, DR looks great on jpegs so far so we suspect it will be excellent.
Won drag race with a Auto Transmission.. LOL
Yep, automatic stock cars and it was still crazy fun! If you haven't tried It, do It!
