The system builds fuel pressure first before it sends a signal to the computer to fire the engine. Cold starts are always like that. Welcome to direct injection. That's why warm starts are quicker, because of residual or "left over" fuel pressure already built.
And yes i wanted to smash my head against the wall at the redline rev right after the cold start. Awesome way to warm up the engine LOL.

I love Chevrolet Corvettes they're super good and the Corvette ZO6 is one of my favourite American sports cars ever cuz I'm a huge big fan of American cars!!!
It's amazing how easy it is to make 650 horsepower and 650 lb/ft of torque civil in this car when you keep your foot out of it. It doesn't look like this car is rough on you at all and the clutch from what I hear is surprisingly light for a car with this much torque.
One time I was in my 2016 Z06 and I was entering the highway and I hit the gas too much and I went 158 mph

The reflection of the red trim of the dashboard on the front glass looks like it can get pretty annoying later on... Is it so obvious to the naked eye or it's just cause of the camera?
Take some time practicing your shifts, when it comes to lower speeds. You brought back a time when I first learned how 2 down and up shift.

+ostreds It is obviously a matter of taste but the digital instruments don't really add anything positive to the experience of a car in my opinion. Especially when the car is not turned on. It's just black plastic..
+Jonas Rosenven I like it personally, one of the features that is actually making me buy the car tbh. I personally always liked digital tachometers so it's a plus for me.

no they dont! I have an auto. On cold starts it always turns over a few times. When warm it turns over right away. That's normal
