As for your kitchen cabinets, you can probably buy a roll of plastic film and easily apply them on the clear glass by spraying a light layer of water and squeegee them on. I've also used a spray form as well. Both of them easy to remove when you're moving out.

Her apartment is a reasonable price for Korea I guess even though I don't leave in her country. It is super cute space. She has used the space she has very well. All the natural light she has coming in is a plus and it makes it comfortable and not depressing for her. 😊
Korean apartments are extremely cozy to me. I have traveled there with my wife and kids the last couple years and we rented an air b&b instead of a hotel. Some are better than others, but it has been mostly a positive experience. Staying in the apartments make you realize how much we live in excess! Especially here in the states. We stayed in Gangnam...which was convenient to the subway station.

$700/month in Seoul seems pretty good rent. I would have liked to see what the neighborhood looks like and if the apartment is close to shopping, public transportation and entertainment.
