He tries not to open up voluntarily, and sometimes vice versa, he closes himself more in communication, during personal conversations in ME2. Also, his ability build is almost useless in combat. You forget how he talked sh** against Thane when you recrute him. He has always the worst ideas, like go straight through the Omega-4 relay even the normandy is not ready. The best thing he brings up is when he voluntiered for a job where an ingeneer is requered. Next playthrough, i just send him into the vend, i heared the cerberus researcher are nicer that way.
The reason Miranda felt guilt about the control chip was because of her father who wanted to control everything about her and in wanting to put the contol chip in to Shepard she briefly became her father which scared her.
yeah, miranda is the only love interest who cries if you break up with her and literally dies if you break up with her it's sad miranda is my favorite maleshep option and one of the only reasons i play maleshep lol (though i get why tali is a favorite, her romance is great but miranda is more the type i prefer bc i don't really like cute/shy girls [that's me in he relationship lol] and that's just a preference though i can say the tali romance is a top 3 romance) garrus is my favorite femshep

Also, the whole “hook up with someone under your command” issue is rather muddled because technically both Shepard and Miranda share command in a way. Miranda is considered Shepard’s handler while Shepard is an asset; she is also the leader of the Lazarus Cell in Cerberus’ hierarchy, but Shepard is in tactical command. If any of the LIs had coequal power and authority to Shepard, Miranda is it!!
What I like is when you dig into these romances you learn what these alpha bad ass people are really like. Aside from Tali. She's actually just that adorable.
27:09 I had not reached the point to get Tali in the squad and I executed the party with no relation with anyone whatsoever, so Joker came at this part and said that we had a good run and Shephard said "The best", and TBH that was the best scene in all of the Citadel DLC.

It's really sad but also gives insight into how tragic of a character she is. She never felt love or had the opportunity to love anyone. She longed to be with her sister, but had to stay away for Ori's safety. She wanted a child but couldn't have one. And she'd pretty much given up on romantic love until Shepard came along. He's the love of her life, and unlike the other girls, Miranda needs him. She needs him badly, and her crying when Shepard breaks up with her illustrates it perfectly. And to top it all, his breaking up with her leads to her death.
It is a good romance, a great part of the game, but I have to admit I was never able to get past the way she gave jack a hard time in the early stages, I found it hard to warm up to her. As a result I have never romanced Miranda. Thanks for doing this, I would have never experienced it otherwise.

Kelly tells you that Tali wants more than friendship when Tali joins the crew and if you've started the relationship with Tali by the Shadow Broker mission, Liara tells Shepard that Tali always fancied him during the first game. Miranda taking Shepard to the engine room seems especially vindictive.
You really think Miranda knows anything more about Tali than what is written in her dossier. Liara knows because they've been friends; Kelly knows because she's a psychologist. Miranda is neither. Stop looking so deep into it.
You know, most of the romances were very badly managed by EAware, cos some feel very "dry" at the end of ME3. Sadly, her romance with Shep closes as the most heartbreaking if she dies at Sanctuary...then the drama collides with the Citadel, if it is done after🤦♂️

Yet... being the shadow broker, a role she assumed just fifteen seconds prior, was far more important to her than helping Shepard, her damned boyfriend, save the galaxy.
i think mark meer does better as some villains, or being a bit more chaotic leaning like Max from stitch of fate lol, it's pretty entertaining to listen to him play as a nosferatu/have vid game and comic book references lol, I almost choked on my drink when I heard him say "we live in a society" in his max voice
She is actually bisexual because I can remember romancing her 5 times the 40 times the played the original series of Mass Effect , which is awesome by the way 😎

It's shocking how bad he is. In every way. He's got no redeeming features, aside from being dedicated to his job.
