Awww sweet girl, labels are for humans. You're a spiritual being, you know who you are in God. Anything else is for people. As long as you're following your Divine path, you should be ok with that. When God said for women to be keepers at home it wasn't to hinder them in any way. It creates a safe environment for us, a way for us to serve and love our husband better and to help with the goals that our family is aiming for versus the goals that a company is aiming for. A lot of people say that we're not doing anything when we stay at home but that cannot be farther from the truth. And I'd much rather be putting my time and effort into my family and our goals versus a company's goals.
Amen! I got a degree in English and Education and taught for 4 years in public school. But then we decided to homeschool, and I've been teaching our 5 kids for 12 years ever since. Didn't know that's what God had in mind when I graduated, but I'm so thankful! 😊

But as most women/men get older in their late 30’s , 40’s and up we learn to not care what the world thinks! Symone will eventually realize that she doesn’t have to even answer that question! 😅😂 Everyone doesn’t need to know your personal business! She & her husband are entrepreneurs, homesteaders, best friends and a loving couple! She manages their household, their juicing business and edits and works on their TH-cam channel which is time consuming. Plus managing and working on their property & veggies is hard work!

Symone, titles limit your capacity.. There is no title that will ever quantify your duties to God and to your marriage. In essence, the title may give off the incorrect impressions and reduce you to what someone believes your role (title) entails.
To put in simply for those who inquire, I see that you and Gerald are living your lives on Purpose; therefore, a job title will only undermine all that you guys do.
Imposter syndrome has no place here.. the works of your hands bear fruit every day and you and Gerald’s words of encouragement plant seeds in all of those who find inspiration in your journey.

As a husband of a “Domestic Home Engineer” (Homemaker) of 38 years, this is our greatest achievement. Throughout my life, I have been asked what my wife does and I have always answered it the same. She has helped me become the best version of the man you see. I have stuck out my chest at times thinking about how we are honoring God, with how we have trusted Him without her going out of the house to work. We never allowed her lack of a “career” to label us. She is a 58 year mature woman version of Symone from what we can see.
My wife’s many talents impress me beyond measure. Her multifaceted skill set has allowed her to support my vision that honors God.. Also my first job out of the Army was as a “Area Manager” for WMT.
Believe me, when they ask you the the questions about what she does, is something that some envy when you respond with entrepreneurial endeavors, that fulfills her passions and support you. Keep doing it Gods way. We have never regretted it!! We are super proud of you guys!

Man, this has blessed me while I am reading it. As I wrote Gerald, you both are very rare in this world. I was the same way when my wife was alive. She died when she was 35 and we just had our twelve year anniversary a few days after she died. So, I wanted to thank you both as well as all other real men who are standing next to your wife, your best friend, and your help mate.

Like you, I USED to feel unaccomplished when people asked me what I do! First, I wish people would mind their own business! What you accomplished by obtaining your degree is amazing, but just as, if not more incredible, is that "FACT" that you are walking in your purpose!!! The unction to discover what you AND your husband can build together was God- given! He commands the blessing in Unity, and amazing things happen when you operate as one! You were created to be his help, and I KNOW well the type of love, work, commitment, energy, and sacrifice it takes to be the best wife, mother, and support that your family needs! YOU, Beauty, are NOT small, and your strength and relationship with God is evident! You are fearfully (intricately/deliberately) and wonderfully (a unique masterpiece, with your own set of gifts, abilities, and characteristics that help support your husband) made! I left the corporate world to be a stay at home mom to my 3rd child in March. We do underplay ourselves because we are trained to feel productive worth comes from a 9-5 job. No it does not. My husband had to remind me that running a household with a 3yo is a full time job and that it’s ok to do nothing sometimes. I had to learn that and I have now. I was working myself ragged, tired, and scheduling everything.
You are running your family “businesses”, helping things run smoothly for your husband , and taking care of your household my dear. That is what you do for a living.❤ Say it proudly.

I have been in the healthcare industry for a very long time. Now that healthcare has changed & not for the better, I find myself on the side of road in my life because while health care has always been my 1st love since a little girl, I am no longer in love with it. I, too, am ready for a change, but I'm not sure where to go. I'm praying for God's guidance and direction. Lord knows I need Him to keep me focused.

Sweet Symone, I made a similar decision to leave the corporate world and prioritize my family over 30 years ago. I also felt lost at the time. But now, aftet thirty years, I'm so glad I followed the Lord's leading in that regard. It has literally been the most fulfilling thing I could ever have done.
Symone, you’re more than enough. I felt how you did after I quit my career. I was newly married, just finished college and was working in my field. I told my husband that working was no longer my desire and I wanted to be a stay at home wife. Thank God for my hubby being understanding and for his career in law enforcement. I felt little when people asked me what I do for a living because we didn’t have kids at the time so it was like I was a bum. We struggled getting pregnant and I just felt worthless. Fast forward today, we have 3 beautiful daughters , I found success on IG, with the help of my hubby and now we both stay at home. He left his career in March and we moved to Ohio. I say this because there’s blessings when you stay focused on God and allow yourself to grow. You’re amazing and you’re just going though your journey, enjoy every second of it ❤

Gerald, your words about "walking in the roles GOD created... the way He said it should be done!" resonate deeply. This is a perfect definition of living according to God's divine plan. Similarly, I left an 18-year career in healthcare to join my husband in our family business, and it has been the best decision of my life. I fully understand the journey from a false identity to finding true identity in Christ Jesus.

To both of you... you have blessed my soul and my spirit. I retired from an excellent job in February 2021, after contracting Long Covid. I did not quite understand why. I find myself, now, "Walking in God's Purpose" for my life. 9 to 5 was not established for every individual. I work with children. It is ministry to them, but more for me. When someone asks the two of you what you do for a living, at your discretion, you can inform them, as I do now, that you are "walking in your purpose"! No title or explanation necessary. God calls all of us for a purpose. Unfortunately, we don't all accept or recognize the call on our lives. This platform that you have may be the only opportunity that some people will ever see or hear about the goodness of God in the land of the living....may you both be continually and perpetually blessed and highly favored!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
The bible says to be anxious for nothing. Your purpose is to serve God with all your heart, mind, and soul. You all are amazing. Never feel bad about what you do, and never let a career or no career define who you are. Always put God first, and He will bless you abundantly. 🙏

If I received this type of confirmation from my ex~ husband even one time in 30 years of marriage, it would have melted my heart. Serving my husband, children & community for 30 years to many may seem like a failure. However, like Jesus, I prefer to be a considered a worldly failure to be a Heavenly Success. I keep feeling lost but I was looking at myself through the worlds view, not Gods or my husbands. Symone, i can understand what you are saying. I went to school for finance and business management with the goal to move up the corporate ladder. When I was dating my husband and he asked me if I would be a stay at home mom I was in unbelief because i felt like i did noy go to college to be a stay at home mom. Then I felt God working in me and decided i would be a stay at home mom. Be a homemaker, stay at home mom, and now a homeschooling homesteader i wouldn't trade it for any amount of money. My family is way better off being raised by their mother and our home is less stressed by having me home. Our lives and homes should be different than the world's.

Simone! Thank you for sharing your feelings on this topic. I feel the same way you do when people ask the question “what do you do?” I feel it’s more important to know “ Who I am?” Most people ask because they want to know if what they are doing, is better than what you are doing. I remember responding to that question saying “I work from home” and feeling so defeated. I remember watching one of your videos and stating to my kids and husband that “it takes a special woman to be married to your husband, and the work it requires”. First, you have to be physically built to “property manage” 21 acres of land. You said “you love it because it’s a work out to you”. You are the “ director of marketing” you are a “photographer” you have sewing skills. Add “interior decorator” to the list. In charge of “home renovations”. You help run the family business, you are an accountant, home maker, cook and more. Respond next time saying “what don’t I do 😂” I know it’s easier said than done but God has prepared you to handle all that your job requires. I know that I couldn’t do your job but I am made special to handle my home and be that help mate that my husband needs. Thank you again for sharing your heart. It encourages me to respond boldly next time and be proud, for the work I do at home. It’s the hardest most rewarding job I ever had. I felt I needed to share this with you. Thank you both for sharing your life and journey on “promised view acres” I have faith that we will have land to pass down to our kids and future generations one day!
I used to feel the same way when I left my career in the health field. But now I’m a proud stay at home mom and I love when people ask me what I do and I can say ‘ im a stay at home mom’ although I run my own businesses and manage a lot. Raising my kids is my greatest identity. Love you guys.
