How to Check Engine Overrevs & Clocking Porsche 911 997 Gen 2 - Ep 30 Diary of a Porsche Specialist

The underlying electronic systems on the 997 Gen 2 and 987 Gen 2 Porsche models are very sophisticated, they store a huge amount of information about the car, and log any issues in the running lifetime. Using tools such as PIWIS III you can lookup events and also the full build details including optional extras and codes. I also use PIWIS 3 to check for engine overrevs and mileage odometer clocking.

Can you activate certain features, rain sensors, add a multi function steering wheel ? Does this software run on Apple Mac books ‘

Hi, yes it is possible to enable options such as the auto wipers and change steering wheels. The system doesn't work with Macbooks sadly as far as I know. Thanks, Raj
