A very good car seat. There is only one drawback to the chair. The reclining position has too little adjustment. The baby's head is constantly tilted forward.
I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !
Tenemos esta silla y nuestro bebé va incomodísimo desde el primer día. La posición reclinada al máximo hace ir al bebé muy vertical y hace que se le caiga la cabeza hacia delante. Cada vez que hay que coger el coche es un infierno para él. Tal vez es incompatible con el asiento de nuestro coche, pero deberían advertirlo teniendo en cuenta que no es una silla barata (más de 500€). No sabemos qué hacer, ya que no es posible que nuestro hijo vaya cómodo ahí sentado.
It doesn't work properly on volvo v60 for new born (56cms). The head of the baby has frontal movement ( recline position insufficient and just for small babies ) For a child with 2 years, works as expected.
okay just as expected, this does not work for a mewborn because its too upright and not slanted enough. i’ve been working my brain around it and still cant figure it out. its too upright seating position for a newborn, very painful. i wish it could lean backwards a lil bit more. it would’ve been perfect

Would not recommend to buy. If something happens to the chair you are left to service it just with your retailer who can tell you whatever they want and put the price tag on the repair as they wish. RECARO Kids official response is that they don’t have service department and they can’t help you. Which is funny as they are producer of the chair.

The infant seat does not work - baby’s head is always tilted forward and cannot recline the seat enough to make it comfortable for a new born.

My skepticism is gone.
Don’t buy this seat if you have a VW Passat 2017. It doesn’t work with a new born baby.
