I can believe and see that a lot of hard work went into this, and I just want to say, it’s definitely paid off! Perhaps your best work to date!! Walking away feeling super inspired. Thank you!

If you intend to visit Hong Kong it's best to visit it sooner rather than later. It's a place that can change quickly, and I feel like some of the scenic, traditional and cultural charms of Hong Kong are disappearing. Due to things like modernization, local government and China. Not saying change is a bad thing, it's just getting further away from the Hong Kong I knew of when I was younger and the one you may of read about or seen in books.

@Joel Lee Compared to 15+ years ago, it has changed significantly. Although some aspects are better than what it was, the political side of things is seriously deteriorating. Plus all the tourists coming from mainland China, some locations are starting to become horrible.

Just 3 years ago I visited HK but didn’t really bring my camera gear. I brought a simple point and shoot (Fuji x100). I knew I was going again in 2018 so no big deal. Brought my tripod and DSLR and no kidding..... majority of the neon lights along Nathan Rd. Where no longer there. I thought I was lost or got the wrong location but sadly HK is changing very very quickly. ☹️

Thank you for an awesome video, Christian! It really showed all the different sides of Hong Kong! Just a little note, actually both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island (and the whole of Hong Kong) are formerly British. Also, when the shopkeeper was teaching you to say "hello", it's actually "lay ho", which is Cantonese, not "ni hao", which is Mandarin. But it's a really great video overall and I'm glad you liked your visit to Hong Kong!

Thanks for coming to my home, hope you enjoyed it.
But honestly you can get even cheaper if you want in terms of transportation, for example Sai Kung, you can take the buses into the restricted area and it only cost roughtly $1? from the place you parked the car and $3 from the nearest mtr station.
We had the BEST transportation system in the world u can literally take mtr or buses to every part in hk and they only cost a little comparing to taxi.
If you had little bit more time, i would suggest you visit some even more local area like Tsuen Wan or Yuen Long, there arent that many foreigners in these regions and there are so many great and cheap local food.
Also, locals may get a bit rude sometimes, i apologize for that coz we are always in a rush, haha.
But anyway thanks for coming to HK and we welcome everyone around the world to visit us.

When booking, you just have to book in advance. I stayed on Hong Kong island for 4 days and got a very nice high rise hotel for $200. I didnt need to buy a sim card either because the hotel provided a 4g cellphone and a wifi egg. Depending on the hotel you stay in, there are shuttle buses from the airport to the hotel, or close proximity. research and planning in advance is all you need. Taxis are quite cheap as well as subways (get yourself and octopus card). For sightseeing such as Victoria peak and the sitting Buddha, and theme parks such as Disney Land, I paid online and got the tix cheap so i cut down on waiting in line for anything.

Not to be rude or anything but Hong Kong is a City in China, not a country. Even though it has it's own law, money and even a border crossing for some time but still a City.

That moment you wake up at 3:00 A.M. (Poland) and see a notification about the video ! Damn I fell asleep, thinking we will not get a video today for some reason, 😮
Hong Kong looks like a great travel option 😍
PS. FUNNY STORY WITH LOST LEBLANC.
I had a dream I was in something like Field museum in Chicago but with Christian and Katy, when I woke up, I wanted to call my mom and tell her my dream came true, only to realize it was just a dream 😂
The next day : I had a dream that I am at my studies which happen only once every month ( great for traveling ) and there is a new guy.... It's Christian, and at first I was freaking out, but later on I'm like a smooth talker, slide my chair over to Christian and I'm like " here because it's easy to travel vlog and get University done right ?" Not a minute passes by and now Christian slides back, to me and starts casually talking , and for my question that " it would be funny if you remembered me from comment section of your videos" and he looks me dead in the eyes and says " ohh yeah I remember" (this is the moment I wake up, excited and again it gets to me, it was just a dream 😂) I think it's safe to say... We all know who is my role model 😎📷🏝️

@@MrSkatefuture911 that's true 😂 but to my defence, I don't watch any TV since I was like 8, TH-cam is my thing since I started with RuneScape videos 😂 now I have moved on from gaming, intro vlogging, more precisely travel vlogging (lost LeBlanc) opened my eyes as to what I want to do in my life, ( there was a period in my life, about a year ago where I was hating everything I did, and got an injury, which made me unable to keep on playing football(soccer), that's when I started thinking " what do I want to do in my life" and the rest is history , well it's on my channel too 😂

Nice video but can I mention a few things:
    1. Din Tai Fong is from Taiwan and not dim sum so if you are selective in local experience, that’s not the place to go.
    2. Same for shaved ice. It’s from Japan. Why not try the “egg son” instead? I don’t know how to call in English.
    3. Do not hit chopsticks with each other, it’s rude.

Actually service in asia is considered a highly regarded thing and is inclusive. Leaving tips may even come across as an insult, as it implies that he or she is doing her best just to get extra money, which in their eyes is not the case, they are not some sort of circus act or beggars, they genuinely want to provide the best service there is, even without reward. So when you tip in asia and when they refuse it, then be respectful and leave it at that, as it could avoid some very awkward situations. In other words, respect other peoples culture, don't force yours on theirs.

As much as I miss your more frequent travel videos, I have to admit that this makes up for the "frustration" of not seeing your epic videos more often. I can imagine how challenging this was to put together but you definitely "nailed" it. When I saw those drone shots I knew it was worth the wait. Your narration of HONG KONG and the travel you did while there was very well balanced.
I don't know where you got the silly character at the end but who cares. It's nice to add a little comedy/humor to a video and you have been doing that for quite some time. I'm not saying it's been all that funny but that in itself is what makes me laugh at your corny jokes. I probably will never make it to most of the places you travel to. I am doing all I can just to get back to the Philippines next year but I have learned a lot from you over the last couple of years. I now have a used drone that I hope to be testing out very soon; and I have all your videos to learn from for ideas. I guess that's enough for now. Thanks Christian. Looking forward to your next one.
