Honestly if I were roommates with Ganyu I'd be tryin so hard (not forcing it though) to "corrupt" her. Bring her to the dark side. We have video games, and anime. She's like my sister and works way too much. She needs to relax, go with the flow.

Itto will pay, just at the last minute. He has dialogue saying he's isn't opposed to working but only if he has to, to pay for food e.g. the more free time he can take, the better. I don't know what kind of job has that level of job freedom where you can just turn up whenever you need emergency money but they probably exist

yanfei would be a great roommate cuz she would be able to call out ur landlord on any legal bullshit and be able to make sure ur house/rent is well taken care of (legally speaking). Also she takes contracts very seriously so u know shes paying rent on time.
Same thing for Zhongli, he might be poor af but u KNOW he will do anything to pay rent cuz the lease is like a contract he will do anything to pull together the money to pay for it on time.

• I can now see Tighnari in the Control Freak section easily, same as Cyno (but can also be vibing because of TCG).
• Layla can be either messy (research paperwork overload) or barely interact (always asleep).
• Faruzan also Control Freak.
• Collei either vibing or best.
• Nahida is a tricky one for me, probably either Never Home or Can't Pay Rent, or also Vibing
• Shinobu as Vibing or even Control Freak (but towards Itto mostly)
• Heizou be vibing
• Candace? Best Roommate no doubt!
• Alhaitham barely interact automatically (bonafide introvert moment)
• Wanderer = Never Home
• Ayato? Control Freak obviously
• Yae Miko is on the 👀👀👀 side, same with Yelan
• Yaoyao best roommate as well (she's very caring)
• Dori = A N N O Y I N G (no need to ask why)
Faruzan isn’t a control freak, she’s a very chill grandma (at least from how she is in the teapot)
I think Ayato is also best mate, since he comes with Thoma/assistants to do his thing for him. Cleaning, cooking, etc.
Dori would try to trick you into paying her share of the rent, too

Yep, she's sweet, but also desperate and very lonely. Not in the creepy "I kill anyone that looks at you!" way, but more like she'd lock herself in her room and cry for weeks if you ignored her for a day way.
Hot take Zhongli would pay rent on time bc technically he Does work and gets paid enough, and paying rent is a contract, so that's one of the payments he would uphold probably very consistently. The issue is that the rest of the money goes to trinkets he would stuff the house with and not actual groceries or anything useful

but on the upside she will have a lot of friends and drag you to concerts for free, get you VIPs and meet other cool musicians and stuff, so none of you will actually be home yet on 3 am because of constant partying

I'd have Thoma, Diluc and Childe as my roommates. Thoma because male wife and I need that in my life (i'd marry him tbh)
Childe because he's rich so he can help better with rent and is very family oriented despite the horny (which i can't judge tbh i simp)
And Diluc because even though he's distant I think our introverted selves would align (also i simp and totally don't have a diluc wall scroll)

He can read (Lisa has been teaching him) he hangs out with other people in Mondstat just fine, he isn't a wolf so he would have the urge to scratch up furniture (they do it to file down their nails), he's a good boy so chances are if you explain things the "dump in the living room" will never happen.
More likely than not the problem would be like Kazuha but without the ability to pay rent, cause he's not an adventurer. He's just some teenager living out in the woods who drops into town every now and again; boy has never needed money before so the concept itself would be very difficult to understand.

One of my favorite things about Doro, and probably the reason I really started watching his Twitch and TH-cam is his Xiao stuff. It's just so funny. I wish he would play him more on stream and kinda roleplay as him. He could do it with any of the characters probably, as he seems to be a pretty talented voice actor, but his Xiao stuff and insights are funny. Lament!
