I'M trying to find diagram for eye4 lcd screen can't find..?
I had not seen the EY4 before now. Thanks for that. No idea how it might work. It seems that it is compatible with a lot of the Dualtron stuff as is. In that case, it's probably just plug it in and go.
@@mhector89 Not much out there on these displays as of yet. They work over CANBUS and you would need a controller that can talk the same language as the LCD for it to be much use to you. I think that's why it's only "compatible" with a short list of scooters. The rest of them would also need a controller upgrade.
either you wired it wrong, it doesn't work, or you have some other problem. How you expect me to know any of that from such a vague message is pretty much impossible.
Would be awesome if you would sell this modified for Dualtron owners to buy:) Why can't these manufacturers ever design for different throttle options? I am used to riding motorcycles and properly gripping the handlebars so... twist throttles. I made a modified part to mechanically connect my thumb throttle to a twist throttle (different scooter) and it has worked perfect for 1,000 miles.

Yes...correct. I've already put the throttle in this video in place and it's working great. I got a response from Dualtron about it and had a second one so it's on the way back to Dualtron. They liked my work! People do tell them about the trigger throttle and not liking it.
@@de-bodgery yeah, great work on that. I extremely want to swap stock throttle to e-bike half throttle in case that few days ago i was near the accident with a car, which came out from side road without looking around. That small amount of time for changing finger position from throttle to front brake could worth some health. I was lucky enough to avoid collision but i don't want to repeat it =)
@@de-bodgery Looking your video right now. Just made order from Aliexpress, i'll go with e-bike half throttle, because i think it's more safe and more common for me. In my opinion, on e-scooter in stand position thumb is very important, because without thumb it's easier to loose handlegrip on some unstable surface, bumping curbs e.t.c. On the other side, classic motorcycle style grip will be a diseaster aswell in case that we're standing, it mean when your body accendently moving back (it happens oftenly) - you're getting unexpected full throttle with all outgoing consequences. So i think half-grip throttle will be the best choice, may be it's just me =) However, thanks for detailed explanation.

@@helios_ja That's a brushed motor. I spend very little time messing with brushed stuff. Even really lousy brushless motors are better than the best brushed motors. RFID can be implemented on all sorts of things. You'd need to an RFID reader that you can program directly for specific RFID codes, but I think that's readily available stuff.
