I never picked up Boston proper until I heard you talking about it and now I grab it every time I see it and it almost immediately sells every time. Thanks!!
Great finds! I found brand new gentle souls platform sandals this week, so nice to see you talk about them. That Plenty skirt is pre-Anthro. Tracy Reese. / Plenty was a very expensive popular brand in the early 2000's. In then in '08 Michelle Obama wore Tracy Reese and she blew up even more! The fact that people know her for Anthro now shoes how fast fashion changes. But that Plenty skirt is y2k - loved her pieces back then. A lot of designers were doing that style - pastels and silky, beading and embroidery too. Elie Tahari is another in that group from the early 2000's. The line for his sample sales in NYC was ridiculous!
I found my first Theory brand item at the salvation army.. omg.. i fell in love! The moment i touched the fabric i knew it was good quality... the pants was my size! I was so excited!! $6!! It was a steal!

Grabbing words/descriptors/celebrity names/tv/eras/moments that I can use in my descriptions from multiple sites. Once again, putting in the time has paid off-my traffic has increased on my items I have listed since watching your videos!! Do you know how hard it is to stay current or look that up (if you google that information, it usually only gives you e-commerce sites or someone selling items on their blog). Awesome video Marita! Love your content and positive attitude which brings many blessings while thrifting. 🎉 Love my purchases from your shop. Ty ❤ Dulce
Hi!! Absolutely love your videos!! I only sell on Depop right now but want to start doing poshmark and/or ebay for more modern items since I'm really only sourcing vintage right now. I'm just curious, how long do you usually sit on items before they sell? I've seen in some of your videos how some items sell almost instantly which is amazing but I'm just curious what's the average amount of time it takes an item to sell poshmark/ebay for you?? So sorry if youve answered this question before and I missed it! Thank you for your videos and so much information! Love your spirit and content!
Hey! I would definitely cross-list to eBay and Poshmark if you have the time even if you're only selling vintage items. It really varies on how fast an item sells. Typically the majority of my items sell within the first few months and then the other portion sell within the first year some even take over a year but I'm a long tail seller so I don't mind waiting on items to sell since I do have the storage space. Thank you so much for watching! ❤️☺️
Question?? I’m a new reseller… is it ok to put the “brands” webpage picture with your listings? To show what it looks like on the model etc. thank you! Love love love your channel.
Hey! Great question. On eBay you can get your listings removed and your account suspended for using stock photos, but many people do it and have no issues. I personally have started to try and steer away from using them on my eBay listings. On Poshmark they're much more lenient and many people use stock photos with no issues. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching! So glad you're enjoying the channel! ❤️🥰
Thrifting is great but it depends on the area of the country you are in. Obviously, larger and more affluent cities/ areas will have better and more high end clothing from which to choose. If you live or shop in a more economically depressed area, you will not find the brands and materials that are sustainable.
Hi there! I love your videos so much. I love how you go through each item and give keywords and why you purchased it. Very helpful. Just a couple questions if you have a minute. I notice that you use plastic bags to store your items with the inventory number on them. Do you leave them in that bag when you ship and do you then reuse that inventory number? Thanks!
Hey Lisa! Thank you so much for watching. I'm really happy you're enjoying the videos! So I do leave my items in the bags when I ship for extra protection and I never reuse the same inventory number. My inventory system has been a big question on here so I'll have to make a video soon and walk through how I do it.
Hi Marita! I love your videos! I’d like to know what your totals come to though. You find such great things! What do you use to get the shoes clean? Do you have a video that explains how you organize your storage? I’m trying to work out a system.
Hey Teresa! In my upcoming videos I'll start adding the total spent on my hauls. I don't clean my shoes that I pick up for the most part, but if I find sneakers that need cleaning I normally pop them in my washer and then air dry them. I will be making a video soon on how I organize my inventory. Thank you for watching!! ❤️😊
Hi. Love your videos. I’m always scared of picking up cashmere, wool and pieces like that because I’m always thinking they have shrunk. Can you tell me your thoughts on that. How do I know or you know when to and not to grab a piece. I appreciate any feedback you can give me pls. Starting out selling clothes and ahhhh 😮
I've found a few really great items that are wool or cashmere that have been shrunk and it's always such a bummer! The way I can typically tell is that if it's shrunk the material will be more ruff and lack stretch. If it still feels soft, breathable and has stretch it should be good. Hope that helps! 🥰❤️

Other potential key words on the first boots are fetish, and dominatrix. As a near "mature" person, I don't/wouldn't look up items in such a way.
