Really calling him out
He's became too self-conscious and awkward after winning his first title. His mental game would have been better if he stopped forcing a good guy persona on himself. He started out almost as arrogant as PDW and Sean Rash but later tries to hide it with the resting bitch face.
For the record he still won the match at 2:09 on the bench because Ken Simard missed in the 10th frame

@@TheReal_LordFarquad yeah but I meant his earlier day. He also altered his approach a lot and seems to struggle to get a strong-backend reaction. In 1989 he was a hard-throwing cranker but in the 90s onwards he was a textbook (power) stroker.
It seems like Wichita State bowlers are more prone to choking, perhaps it's the pressure from collegiate bowling.
This is by far the funniest bad breaks video. The most hilarious part is where Parker misses the 7 pin, and Randy is like "OH MY GOD!" And then there's Carolyn laughing in the back
I just realized that Walter Ray said “WHAT THE FUCK?!” when the guy snapped the picture before he said “is there something wrong with you?”
I was in the stands, I remember it clear as day. What happened to Walter was the most fucked up thing ever lol.
@@flipper9038 as a photographer I cringe knowing that someone who wanted the 'shot' of WRW right at the foul line didn't realize that it's NOT a good idea. The best in the biz know how to get the shot while still respecting the game.
@@atbsigma. I have no idea why would they care take a photo of a bowler posing on the Approach during the game, if they want to do it, then do it during practice time while there’s still time.
@@PinoyBowlerGS92 a practice shot may not have the same intensity as an in game shot. The photographer would want to capture the in-game moment. You’re right and they shouldn’t ...

Not a good quote because it’s implying the other bowlers don’t work hard as well. Other PBA bowlers aren’t naturally talented, they worked just as hard as he did

My guess is he was caught up in the moment as an underdog winner and wanted to say something inspirational related to being an underdog and that cliche was the first thing he thought of. I bet he would say it was kinda dumb in retrospect.

@@Bowling_Planet I won my first tournament during the summer, threw 6 in a row, than punched the corner. In canada we also have 5 pin bowling here, been bowling about 25 years now, when I punched the corner when trying to throw 7, i just laughed and was like, if this was a televised show, this would be #1 choke of the year

In the 2002 PBA Empire State Open, a fan flashed a camera at WRW Jr. In the 2017 PBA Firelake TOC, Tommy Jones did exactly what Lonnie Waliczek in early 2004.
I once had 9 straight spares in a game, clearly I retroactively stole them from these pros.

Throwing 20+ seems to be more detrimental than helpful. Your ball will run straight through pins and leave a lot more splits. 17-18 mph seems a lot better, less carry but not so many splits I feel like. Could definitely be wrong tho lol
