Never ever drop because you are not getting any college.Drop only if you know what mistakes you made in 11,12 and you are willing to improve them.
drop is better option as here fees are very high and tag of private college is far smaller than nits with low fees

Sir being a student of different state do I need to go to respective states for giving exams like wbjee ,kcet or are these conducted all across India or specifically in their respective states
For wbjee for need to travel WB also if you are student outside Karnataka you are not eligible for kcet only comdek
For kcet you have to pass kannada exam which has happened

I think paper will be same for both Karnataka and non Karnataka students , but they will show different rankings for comedk and kcet as , if you have applied for comedk
