Anything excessive is truly bad, and that is the same with gambling. The innocents will always be the biggest loss in cases like this. Those poor children were just victims of their adult relatives who should have known better. Nobody won in the end. Megan, thank you so much. Your channel just keeps getting better. Congrats again to your team for this new episode,
Fun fact: i believe this urban legend even reached the Philippines in the late 80s and early 90s and a lot of parents are preventing their loved ones to eat pork buns/siopao because they said some pork meat are mixed with human flesh so it is best to believe in this rumors rather than being sorry in the end.
In the movie when all the other cops are eating the buns at the police station the chief inspector says” I don’t eat pork buns, you never know what’s in them”.
Human taste just like pork this is why some religion forbids consumption of pork in the name of hygiene so people wouldnt be curious about it and actually eat human meat to verify.

I really want to recommend the Burari case from New Delhi , India. Its a case of the tragic death of all the 11 members of the same family by hanging, including the eldest member being strangled to death. There was no sign of forced entry in the house or murder, which compels us to think it as suicide. But the most surprising thing of this case was that each member had their own diary which dictated their daily task. They intended to perform some kind of ritual but did not expect to die, according to their diary notes. All the 10 members who were found hanging had blindfold over their eyes, cotton plugged in ears, hand and feet tied together with wire. This case haunts me everytime I read about it. I strongly recommend Megan to cover it.

You had some of the best pronunciations of Chinese names I’ve ever heard from true crime channels. Thank you! Also, I was reading the sign of the restaurant and realized they might still read right to left in Macau. That’s so interesting.
Moral of the story "always pay your debts on time" Seriously though, I've heard this case before and never understood how one man overpowered a family with a broken bottle in a restaurant full of knives. I suppose everyone reacts differently but if that had been my family I know for sure the second he threatened the kid someone would have locked the door and tomorrow's menu would be pork dumplings buy one get one free.

His remains was cremated and his ashes was flushed in the toilet. I feel sad for his wife regarding the judgement of Angeles City court. 2. Manila Hostage Crisis (2010) - my 1st awakening regarding the corruption issue in my country. Rolando Mendoza hostaged tourists from Hong Kong to make the government grant his request to be back in service because he is a policeman. However, due to media and communication misunderstanding, things get worse. It affected the diplomatic ties between Hong Kong and the Philippines. 3. However, the policemen took his life by their abusive powers and addressed him as a drug user even he is innocent. 4. John Matthew Salilig case (2023) - a 3rd year Chemical Engineering Student which his corpse was found in the vacant lot. This tackles about the initiation rights that fraternity is doing. Despite of Anti-Hazing Law of 1995 and it was enhanced by the Duterte administration in the aftermath of the Law Student Horacio Castillo III (2018), the abuse in fraternities never stops. 5.
