The members of college teams are constantly changing as students enroll and graduate. Such is the case with Waseda University's Tokyo Hanabi.
Although Ikebukuro is not the last festival for the performance year (usually May through the following March) it does mark the last time freshman, sophomores, and juniors will all dance together.
It is here that each dancer expresses gratitude for the time they have all shared, and it is here that the mantle is passed from one generation to the next.
Please enjoy the final performance of Tokyo Hanabi's 12th generation "Maitourou".

말도 못알아 듣는데 왜케 오글거리냐, 하여간 오타쿠들이란
前两个挥舞大棒子的，打乱了整体舞蹈的美感。把观众的注意力都集中在了大棒子上了
你在說什麼? 那兩人才是精髓，起畫龍點睛之效。
多看几届，慢慢就能体会出前面两人的美和不易。我们所受的教育认为整齐划一才美，但其实杂而不乱，繁而相协，却是另一种美。因为它更加丰富，更加多元化。两“棒子”其实在整个构图上起到重要的节点承启作用，并且跟音乐的迭起相配合，也起了把音乐具象化，烘托气氛和情绪的作用。这就是下面那位朋友所说的画龙点睛之效。
