Traveling to Lahore on Shah Hussain Express | Loud Whistling of AGE30 & Group Discussion on Railways

it was a wonderful train travel of Shah Hussain Express 43UP from Faisalabad to Lahore,
we railfans were reached faisalabad on Badar Express 112DN.... while returning we choose 43UP train to enjoy the lovely Chugging sound of AGE30 Locomotive,
train arrived late by alsmit 3 hours.... we did our journey in economy class, during journey we also discussed the current scenario of Pakistan Railways and its development....

It was a great conversation, firstly due to low occupancy of 43up/44dn, I have a different POV firstly PR should focus on other branch lines and mainlines as well...there are many other trains between Karachi and Lahore, so instead of running so many trains in same routes PR should work on providing services to other route as well... Secondly, about the tracks, instability of rails causes track sounds and high riding index, all European countries and Chinese HSR uses HHT rails which is indeed very costly if imported, recently IR started to build HHT rails which is almost equivalent to european 350 rails, which may not be high speed but it's good for 230-250kmph speeds, so end of the day it's all about budget.... And yes ML1 is only the hope for PR to make it profitable, no doubt in that....

10000% agreed. To attract Faisalabad passengers economy class ticket must be no more than Rs. 200.
Stop duration at Faisalabad doesn't match for bigger stations. It must be 10 minutes at least for Shah Hussain as well as Shalimer and karakorm.
2:05 still too much time for Lahore from Faisalabad. Try to reduce it to 1:30 maximal...
