Crab Grass - Digitaria sanguinalis & ischaemum, Identification & Removal

Look what I found in my yard this year! Crab Grass! Two species: Digitaria sanguinalis & D. ischaemum. I've never had Crabgrass on my property before, so I figured I'd better do a video before waging war on it! It's nearly gone now. I got it out before it had a chance to seed in the lawn, and now I'll be on the lookout for it next spring.

I hate jobs like that in the garden 🤐. Makes me want to reach for the weedkiller but both options are pointless . We must learn to embrace weeds they say but i don't think I'll ever make my peace with them. 😐

I don't know about embracing the weeds. Some maybe. But others, like this one, are just a nuisance. Aside from the job security, I could always stand to have fewer weeds! 😆
