Princess Diana - Tourist Video from outside the Paris Ritz - 30 August 1997

- A video taken by Australian tourist Chloe Papazahariakis at about 11.50pm on 30 August 1997 outside the Ritz Hotel in Paris. Princess Diana was inside the hotel getting ready to leave for Dodi Fayed's apartment. The video captures the scene at the front of the hotel about 30 minutes before the couple left on the journey that resulted in their deaths. The cars they arrived in are parked at the front of the hotel and you can see their usual driver Philippe Dourneau, at his Mercedes. The 'dummy run' where the usual drivers drove the vehicles the couple arrived in around the Place Vendome to see how the paparazzi react can also be seen.
At the end of the video, the traffic congestion on the Champs-Élysées can be seen and it likely for this reason Henri Paul decided to go along the embankment road that lead to the Alma tunnel where the crash happened.

At that time, Lady Diana was inside the Ritz with Dodi and in a while she will not go out through the central door but from the back one to reach the residence of Dodi himself (but not they will never arrive they will crash into the Alma underpass)

Wouldn't you just love to track down every random fucking person in this video who pops up for a few seconds and just bring them back to where they were half an hour before one of the biggest tragedies in history was to take place. They'd most likely remember...unless they got seriously pissed that night which is a possibility. The taxi driver at 7:00...just another working night for him....but you can make a serious bet that he'll recall picking up an Aussie couple that night from outside the hotel that Diana and Dodi were staying in! All connected by something tragic though...I'm sure it was a horrible night in Paris. I wish she was still on Earth doing her thing...
