    This is the best hack ever! It can be completely customized to your personal taste, AND IT'S SO MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE!

    I used this idea with gigantic tissue paper flowers. I twisted the pipe cleaners in the flower centers onto a rope. Since the flowers were about 12" across, the rope didn't show at all. I used the finished garland as a long runner on my table first and used it another time for a window garland. BTW, the tissue was reused from gift packages. I just ironed out the wrinkles before folding into the flowers. Ramon, I have watched your garland and cluster videos multiple times and have passed on the ideas to others, along with a recommendation to watch your channel. Everyone has been very impressed, too! Thanks for all you do.

    What I appreciate in your videos you show us that all of us can create the same professional beautiful project that was shown by you. Each step is explained and we are able to visualize what it should look like but most important witness why it's necessary to do the steps in that order. A difficult task becomes simple when it's shown by you. Since watching your videos my approach this season has become more advance and bold. No longer intimidated by designs I believed to advance and difficult. By watching the different techniques for the same project, has opened a creative side I never knew existed. I am incredibly excited to witness the end result this season. Thank you so my times over. I have become a junky on your videos, I rewatch many of them. Share with friends and family on where I learned my new talent.

    I just tried this out...I would recommend mod podging all the tape once garland has been assembled to keep the tape from unraveling.

    I saw Liz at Traditions by the Seasons casually pop a couple of these ornament garlands into her tree this year (2019) and decided that I needed some of those too. THEN I saw how blooming expensive they are! So I searched how to make an ornament garland and there you were with this perfect video. I knew I could make this myself, but you gave me the exact info I needed so I didn't have to figure it all out by myself. THANK YOU FOR THAT!!! I'm going to use white florist tape so it won't show on my white tree. I know it will be beautiful. Also, I was intending to check out your channel because of Liz's shout out so I'm doubly happy! I'm a new subbie and will be watching all your videos. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing it!

    Ramon,
    I join your channel 3 years ago after my husband passed away. I miss this episode. I was looking through Facebook and TH-cam for things to help me deal with my loss and sadness. You have help me get through his loss with every episode I have viewed of yours.
    I am lying here to night missing him, my in-laws who have also passed away and many in our community since my husband. I went to the funeral of the wife of my husband’s best friend Friday. Unexpected loss. She didn’t have cancer or anything like that.
    I am so glad you showed this. I have plenty of shatterproof ornaments and this would give me something to do with Easter Eggs.

    Thank you for this video. I was recently pricing garlands in the stores and they are ridiculously expensive and not even attractive to boot. I have grown to appreciate your videos. They make so much sense for the majority of us who are on a budget. My dream would be to have you come to decorate my five trees. I love Christmas but I have health issues that prevent me from decorating as I have in the past. You are amazing in that you can take something inexpensive and make it look like it came from Saks or Neiman Marcus. Your mom must be so proud of her decorations and of you. What a good son you are?

      We have very large long leaf pines in our yard and throughout our neighborhood. Needless to say, they drop a TON of cones. I'm always on the lookout for good ways to use them. LOVE the pine cone garland idea! Be sure to wash the cones thoroughly and dry on low heat in your oven before crafting. This will kill off the small bugs that infest them. If you want light-colored cones, just soak them in bleach water to remove the brown color. They will become "blonde". Dry in the oven as usual. Of course you can paint the cones before wiring them together, too.

    Ramon, thank you so much for sharing this video! I saw one of these ornament garlands and it was $60. I love the look and wanted to do it on my mantel and up my staircase but at $60 for 4 1/2 feet, it would have cost me over $500. This is a much cheaper option. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

      I don't know how you managed it.......I can't do it !!!!!!! Tape wont stick and spinning them around is one big mess and just can't do it. Usually Im quite crafty.....but this has got me beat.

    • @Deebelle10
      @Deebelle10 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lindyhawthorne2164 it’s not for the faint of heart and takes time. The key is to really stretch the tape and work slowly and with shorter sections of tape. I was washing my hands quite often due to the stickiness. It took me two weekends, but I ended up with 5 garlands about 7 feet long each.

    • @lindyhawthorne2164
