    I have had this watch for a few weeks and am quite pleased with the look and performance. I decided to swap out the bracelet for leather and think that it greatly improves the look. I have the cream colored dial and it looks very nice. I’ve several watches with a mecaquartz movement and have became a true fan! Keeps great time, manages to look "sweepish" and convenient without the daily time set of a mechanical/automatic. I, too, would recommend this watch. I like it. Good review! Oh, almost forgot to mention that I LOVE that Pagani has decided to drop the text and go with a simple applied logo. A much cleaner look.

      Am glad you’re enjoying the watch Bill and the dial definitely looks better and cleaner with just the logo. Thanks for watching and I hope you continue to enjoy it for many more years 👍👍

    I recently received this watch with the green dial (reminds me of green aventurine). I like the watch much more on the wrist than I thought I would. I also have the QC issue with the some of the screw pins. I have seen many complaints about the quality of the bracelet, but personally, I like it. I paid about $26 USD for mine.

    This certainly seems like a winner, having a TB dial I'd be inclined to go for the green....I have no experience with MQ movements and am keen to try one, perhaps this is the watch for that....this could very well be the ideal daily for some folks....basic three hand no date clean dial, right up my street....extremely happy that they are continuing with this style of branding, far better than before....

      It’s definitely a vibrant piece and you MUST try a mecaquartz movement mate, you won’t regret it. Thanks for watching my man and I hope you’re well 👍👍

    Nice one Simon. I do like the clean dial, nice texture, an attempt at a Grand Seiko look, love the logo with the PD name, I hope that idea extends to other watches. Nice dial, great to see the high beat movement. Lume not important on a, dress watch, better not to include it at all. Is it original, probably not, but there are so many watch designs nowadays, I don't think that there are many new original designs anymore, unless you go for the crazy ones. I like this. I'd probably put it on a nice leather strap anyway.

    Love how this model only has the Pagani logo and without the 'Pagani Design' wordings. Makes it more classy a design. Similar to PD-1723. Both are already in my shopping cart btw 🙃 🤪 right after watching your reviews. Good job 👏 👍

    I am just waiting for the cream dial and brown leather version to arrive. I also bought this partially based on the fact that Pagani is using a logo rather than lots of annoying text. A very simple no date movement too.

    I'm pleased with mine and think it great VFM. Highly recommended. Triveally, I would have preferred them to drop the 330 ft from the dial as that would result in the text balancing the logo better. The only real thing I have to moan about is the need to rub off some sharp corners on the bracelet and clasp but sadly that's normal with PD watches. And that pressed clasp shell has less of a sharp edge issue than the machined one on the mecaquartz chrono that was delivered at the same time. So, I prefer the one supplied on the 1731.

    Late to the party...LOL I have this on its way to me and I plan to switch out the bracelet with a nice leather strap. These reviews and the mostly positive comments helped me to decide and at less than $35, it is a steal.

    Great watch. I've just clocked the steel, black and gilt version on Ali and it's smoking! VH31 is the future - no worries about accuracy or servicing as with autos. Do you know how small a wrist the bracelet will go down too? I bought a Parnis 36mm day date and I couldn't size it to my 6.25" wrist so I'm nervous now about such things.

    • @WatchtheTime
      @WatchtheTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      From my experience Jon most, if not all of their watches go down to 6’ if not just below that, so you should be ok. Thanks for watching mate 👍

    • @WatchtheTime

      I think it’s about 20% for import but if you spend £140 (ish) from the same store you sent pay import so is better to buy a couple of items at the same time, that’s what I do. I hope that helps Jon 👍👍

    I do like the crown size. Bigger would be too sporty, and wouldn’t look ok with these dauphine hands and minimalist dial. Also the rough case back works great as a nail polisher. And it will soften quickly. The dial more than wrapping paper reminds me of the ocean when looked from an airplane on a sunny day.

    • @WatchtheTime

    Great watch mine came in a few weeks back and it’s great especially since I was able to get it for $35. Can’t beat it at that price. Edit I had the same issue with one of the links. Was wearing it one day and a screw I didn’t touch was sticking out I tried screwing it back in no joy. Turned out to threads in the link were stripped.

    Je viens de la recevoir, un de mes montres les moins chère de ma collection, elle m'a coûté seulement 24,50 €. Je suis un grand collectionneur de montre vintage suisse et autres, de montres modernes, mais aujourd'hui les Chinois font du beau et du bon. Oooo Mecaquartz !!!! all watches should be made this way.
    Downside for me is the dial diameter and overall thickness, the dial is too large for the rest of the watch.
    Nice watch and an improvement over their usual automatic watches but not for me.
    Hopefully they will come up with 34/36mm mecaquartz with the thickness being 9mm or less.

  • @DavidRon

    In my opinion, the biggest "pants" is the dial markers are too small which throws off the balance of the dial and leaves too much negative space. GS uses perfect proportions. They're might as we'll have used tiny hands again.

    • @WatchtheTime
      @WatchtheTime  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sorry to hear of your disappointment David and I hope they remedy this in the future. Thanks for watching 👍👍

    • @L.A.C_Santos
      @L.A.C_Santos 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t see why this size of markers can be considered TOO small. Many watches have even smaller markers or even simple dots. And when the dial surface is so amazing, a clean dial is a plus.

    I bought the green one with a leather strap. Do not recommend that strap. Hated the leather butterfly claps because it was just hell closing it, but the watch itself looks fine and is accurate. I wear it with a black rubber strap. A bit too little for my hand, but it's always on and am satisfied.
