We absolutely loved the tours of train layouts in the Detroit area. It is fantastic to see the fellow model railroaders and the endless creativity that is put into each train layout. Thanks Chris!
Bobs place was over the top ! Beautiful home and beautiful layout 👍🏻
Everyone’s layouts look great. Love what the one fella did with the Menards buildings kit bashing out some great custom one off’s. Love the different scenery ideas. Norms work is next level. Any scene at random looks incredible. Nice video thanks for the peek!
Totally enjoyed the tour. Seemed like a fantastic time. All great layouts. Loved the ham RJ poking out behind you in the car videos LOL LOL He must be alot of fun. Yes, you deserve a nap!!!
What a great weekend! I'm still recovering...
Thanks, Chris, for this for this fabulous view of Train-A-Palooza 2024! Such a great variety of layouts to see and modellers gathering in friendship and fun. Thanks for sharing!
I wish I could move to Bob's layout! Looks like an awesome place.😊 Thanks for the footage.
Great video! Glad you all had a great time
Chris - It was great to see you, great video of our groups layouts. Glad you had fun and I will see you in October for Fall York.
Chris This was great Thanks for posting. It was nice to meet you.
Every time I see Norms layout there's always something I miss. Amazing
Chris thanks for sharing all layouts you and RJ visited. Inspirational! Norm is my favorite! Got all publication issues regarding his layout!
Fantastic video, Chris! It was wonderful to see you and the guys again! Man, there were some really awesome layouts on the tour, and you did a great job capturing each one of them! We have to give a super big shoutout to the layout hosts, JD Stucks, and the Detroit 3Railers for making our time in Detroit so special! Bill B.
Nice video and it looks like it was another successful and fun event. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. The fine scale models were incredible too.
Many thanks!
2:12 that is one spicy Supra!!!
Great video!!
Looks like a really fun time. The layouts look awesome. You can see all the hard work that has been put into them. Great video.

Great layouts with great people. Looked liked tremendous fun.
Thanks for watching!
Some great layouts and neat ideas!
Glad you like them!
Loved the layout tours. Charlie's, Bob's, Clem's and Norm's layouts are all awesome. It is great to see their different approaches to modeling and their great collections. Need to get up and see the Altoona museum and the curve someday! Thanks for sharing it all with us! Also loved seeing the Texas flag Southwest plane! ~Ricky
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for bringing us along Chris! And I noticed a few familiar faces in the crew as well!
My favorite part of the video? Don't hate me but it was just about right at the beginning. WHERE did the guy with that cool Brit engine named "Stepney" find it? That engine's too cool for words, like a runaway from the island of Sodor!
Definitely an awesome video Chris, no reflection on any layouts but I loved Bob Shaw's and I'm glad you had his in your collection. 5 thumbs up for this video.
Thanks for watching!
Nice to see you again Chris! I had a great time hosting and attending!
Great layouts!!
Nice work on capturing this Chris! Was great seeing you and everyone again.
Same here!
Awesome video Chris!
Another great video!
Great detailed ship planes trains😊😊😊
They are!
Very interesting. Never heard of this event till a recent chat with club house members.
I am hoping to get a chance to tour these next year at the NMRA national convention next year in Detroit.
Wish I would have known I would loved to see all the layouts along with get ideas for my layout. I took live in the Detroit area
Having everyone here was a great time!
You went to my friend in Blissfield and seen his great layout. He helped me build my layout.
My favorite scenes are always Norm's Layout!
Ugh such a great vid im sad I couldn’t make it. Next year!!
Great video! I saw the Train Loft Big Boy custom run on Joe Delude’s layout (I bought one as well as a few PAX cars). Cool to see that beast running on a proper layout. Does he have a You Tube page?
Where did someone find a 3 rail i scale lbsc terrier?!?!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
A three rail British tank engine! How or where can I get one?
Wondering, what will Trainapalooza be in ten years, as big as York maybe?
What was that CN white spacey looking train at the fine detail dudes place??
That was the United Aircraft Turbo-Train. Long story short it was operated by both Amtrak and Canadian National as basically an experimental high-speed rail passenger train. Powered by a turbojet engine it was just a little too ahead of it's time so it didn't catch on.
@wayneantoniazzi2706 thanks for the Info!
@@toniketola7719 You're welcome!
Wayne helping me out in this one! I have a video on the Penn Central Turbo Train if you wanna learn more.
@@ChrissTrainsandThings You're welcome Chris, and I'll look for that video!
I hate to keep reminding you guys...REAL trains do NOT run on THREE-RAIL tracks! Nothing "realistic" about these layouts...
You serious Clark?
I was just in London and the underground there uses three rails, I guess those aren’t real trains….
It must be absolutely torturous living with a mind such as yours. "Yup, I told those O-Gauge guys their trains aren't realistic. I've justified my existence for the day" - wobblinwheel
@@rj.trains I don't think any of the layouts I was referring to had anything to do with the "London Underground "....
