Did get accosted by a group of locals who mocked my walking gait and wanted to know if I wanted to fight the big dude in their group. Politely declined their offer. Once they realized I was American they became very curious and wanted to know if I knew anyone famous. All I could recall was Tommy Ramone of the Ramones, who I had once had a conversation with. That seemed to greatly impress them.
OK, so you could play a game of handgrenades and not hurt anyone but, the upside, the city is clean. Unlike busy, filthy central London and many other cities.

Like many towns and city’s there are too many empty shops and the Buchanan Galleries that you showed is under threat of closure Business tax is a killer and so is the LEZ charge to enter the town. Glasgow is a friendly city but like many other places just don’t step back two streets or you will enter a different world 🫣
