Bamboo Fly Rod Glue Up - Using Unibond 800 With Liquid Catalyst

This video shows the gluing process for a hollow-built bamboo rod. Double-check your dimensions before gluing.
I recommend using a piece of granite backsplash as a gluing surface because it’s absolutely flat and easy to clean.
For the catalyst, I use a 15% solid Ammonium Chloride and water (by weight)
Materials used:
•Your final planed strips
•Clean gluing surface
•Pre-tied loops of thread
•Brush
•Spoon
•Stir stick
•Container of warm water
•Unibond 800
•Liquid Catalyst
•Mixing cup
•Gram scale
•Binder
•Tabs for hanging the sections after gluing
•Rags for cleaning the gluing surface (using warm water)
There are plenty of good adhesives nowadays, but Unibond 800 is my personal preference.
