I think alot of people don't understand ..her voice is the same as it was , its matured very good . In the sudio she can easily do vocals from the 90s but performing live is incredibly hard to do with her voice .

Don’t get me wrong, I love YDKWTD... But I do miss the original Emotions arrangement.
The reason why u miss is - u can't accept that she is 50. As long as u can't accept that voices change over time u can't feel comfortable no matter who is singing a song.

We all know Mariah's voice has aged, and that is nothing against her, but we also as FANS don't have to like every new arrangement of each song. (Some are genius, like the MIH arrangement she has kept since Daydream tour. Others are "nice experiment but not to my taste.") Maybe YOU just can't accept that not every fan is gonna to love absolutely everything she does. (My pet peeve is her lipping parts of her songs. I'm also not a fan of her removing verses from songs. I want to hear all of LTT live, not just 3/4 of it.)

I really don't understand, because Mariah Carey didn't sang with that vocal power and tuning at the Billboard Icon Awards, she sometimes fails to show her talent to the world. She does not value herself and often looks so fragile and scared. I love her, but please you are Mariah Carey, you need to be courageous and determined.
Her kids' birthday was a day before her performance so she didn't rest that much :(. Also, she's nervous everytime she performs live on tv because her own country had talk sh*t about her for two bad performances (2014 Rockefeller and 2016 NYE). She feels more confident on concert with her fans that actually support and love her unconditionally :(
