Hello, any idea how much your tractor weighs? I've got a Case 1816B mini skid steer I'm looking for the smallest trailer possible for... It weighs just under 1,900 pounds... It seems you've definitely had more weight in the trailer than that, correct?
Trailer weighs 950 pounds with a gross rating of 2950, but the axle is rated for 3500. I regularly carry 2500 to 3000 pounds with no problems at all. Suspension and wheels look fine and it pulls fine (just make sure the load is spread evenly). The dump hydraulics handle the weight easily. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!

I have never noticed that problem. It always pulls really well. The sides I've added to mine add weight (those Trex boards are heavy) so that might help. I keep my tires at around 80 psi.
I have one of those trailers as well. I lost the tailgate..it bounced out because there are no fasteners to hold it in. I am going to add sides using your method. Great idea!
Sorry you lost your tailgate. Those side extensions do work very well for me. They increase the versatility of the trailer and make it it much more visible from the driver seat when pulling and reversing. The Trex makes them tough with zero maintenance. Good luck with yours!

I purchased one of these but cannot lift it all the way up b/c the back hits the ground. Do you find yours does the same thing?

Great video, just curious does you Bounce a lot when empty? I just bought one and it is very bouncy when empty behind my truck.
