I'm 40 as well though I look somewhat younger due to exercise and taking care of my skin etc. I've realized the past five or so years that some girls will care about your age and many won't - at any age. I've been "feeling too old for some girls" since I was 24. A while back I had an experience withe a 22 year old when I was 31 where she finally asked me after we had spent some time together and it was apparently shocking enough for her to ghost me. It bothered me enough to stay conscious of it even though I continued to date younger girls simply because I found them more fun. Personally, I'm about to give up game simply because I'm dissapointed. I've been learning it for 4 years now and my results are nowhere near I expected. Todd, can you do a video on how to decrease flaking and ghosting. I’ve never seen it this bad before. I follow all of the best practices of pickup, have strong social skills, am confident, solid looking, yet still see the vast majority of my numbers flake/ghost. The scary part is even a lot of girls who show high interest during the approach and at first over text or the phone will inexplicably ghost. It’s like their buying temperature has a short expiration date. It’s a minor miracle I’ve managed to get 4 lays since early March but that’s because I’ve approached like crazy and have clawed tooth and nail for those results (and even did some online dating, as awful as it is). Obviously, the rise of OLD and social media have given women exponentially more options, which has fueled the flaking, but I’m curious if you have any in-set methods or strategies to increase the likelihood of the girl showing up for the date.

i am not Todd, but maybe you just caring about texting too much. don't text them long messages and pretend you didn't care if she texts you back. don't send her big amount of little messages either. it could be a reason.
My problem with texting in general is low commitment required to participate. No matter what you do you may still receive silence from the other party 'cause both of you can ignore the message and put down your phone. Try actually calling instead of texting and compare your results. Using facetime feature is also acceptable. I'd argue that calling is often more preferred than sending messages since it requires more commitment from you and the girl.

I don't think being significantly overweight is a minor inconvenience. In fact, I know being significantly overweight can be detrimental to your chances. Which I'm glad Todd offered the stipulation of hitting the gym and putting the fork down. The concept of these items being fixable errors is an important point. But I've gotta object to how he seemed to marginalize the issue and frame "game" as preeminent to everything. When I lost over 150-lbs, my entire world with regards to how people treated me changed. Up to the point I developed trust issues because it was as if the entire world was trying to get something from me all the time. My "game" didn't change. My "confidence" didn't change. It had to eventually, because I was making good impressions, but I struggled to make them stick, and this is where concepts like "game" come in. But my point is: improving my looks was PREEMINENT to having effective game and being able to connect with others more broadly. The result of this progression was seeing my confident hypertrophy (as opposed to atrophy). My point is a matter of sequence: you're only as good as your weakest link. Hopefully, that weakest link is fixable.
I have an incredible, 5 star personality. I built that over time to try and overcome my other issues. Problem is, life has really piled them up on me so now I feel like I have very , very few options. I’m really short, 5’2. I also was unlucky enough to get the bald gene too , lost my hair very early at 26 . I was in the military and was in better shape, but my family situation pushed me out of that so now I’ve gained some weight and have a gut that I hate . Getting older fast , I’m 38. My biggest issue though is I’m locked into a coparenting situation with someone who used to be my partner but now we really aren’t . I had a son with her , and I took her other two kids as my own , one of which was even born after my son during a time we were broke up. She doesn’t make hardly any money so everyone Relies on my support. Basically All these problems combined makes me pretty much as locked in as a person could be ; no one in their right mind would ever consider dating me. I’m a great conversationalist with a great personality, but my looks are trashed , I’m broke, and I have baggage because no matter how miserable I am I’ll always be there for my kids, they are more important then my happiness. I wish I could find a way to be happy too but I just do not see how this is possible . The kids will suffer if I leave , and I have so many problems and baggage it feels just hopeless . I’ve had a couple girlfriends here and there during all this but they understandably don’t last long. I’ve just kinda given up at this point and devoted my life to my kids but I always wish I could change it and at least still have a chance at being happy.

So I'm outgoing and energetic, but my energy gets drained with every interaction the less comfortable I am with x y or z person. My insecurity is that I will have my social image suttered if I get rejected three or four times. I live in Europe in a 60 thousand people town. Not everyone knows each other but almost everyone knows each other. Getting rejected too often may very well affect my general social life eventually.... What can I do to overcome this insecurity ?

Basically: overcompansate, but work on your insecurities as well so they are not dragging you down. I do it myself as I'm short as fuck, but also have been hitting the gym for like 6 years now. It works.

I started watching Todd in college when I was around 22 years of age. I became his disciple. That was over 10 years ago. It changed my life. I went from having little experience with women to dating my dream women. I learned how to approach. How to speak to women. How to carry a conversation and take the burden of it. How to set up dates and how to get women back to my place. The results were fantastic. I’ve been with some women I never thought I would be in my dreams. He is the sole reason I am married today as I found my wife by going out and gaming. It was a growing process and I still use many of his techniques in my own relationship. This man is like a brother or father figure to me. The shit works. If you work on this like learning to code of working out. You can change your life completely in 3-6 months. I approached everywhere when I first started because I had some pretty bad social anxiety. I would practice by talking to both men and women in social settings whether during the night or day. I had several of his programs that are no longer around since he is not not a member of the group he used to be in which dissolved. I learned how to text women from him, I mean everything. I did countless approaches, several hundred before I was healed of my anxiety. Even before then the positive aspects of doing that completely changed who I was. Working out also helped. So did dressing appropriately. This shit works man. You just have to be willing to embrace the process. I made friends, had flings, relationships and had some pretty awesome experiences. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner haha.

If you look young and you have a psychological aversion to the number, why not "lie" about it? The reason for the quotation marks is that chronological age is a lie in itself, so by giving her this number, you're only subjecting yourself to false judgments (potentially). Age is only relevant relative to how long you're going to live, and I've read about a guy who was verified to have lived to 257 years old! Todd, can you do a video on how to decrease flaking and ghosting. I’ve never seen it this bad before. I follow all of the best practices of pickup, have strong social skills, am confident, solid looking, yet still see the vast majority of my numbers flake/ghost.
The scary part is even a lot of girls who show high interest during the approach and at first over text or the phone will inexplicably ghost. It’s like their buying temperature has a short expiration date.
It’s a minor miracle I’ve managed to get 4 lays since early March but that’s because I’ve approached like crazy and have clawed tooth and nail for those results (and even did some online dating, as awful as it is).
Obviously, the rise of OLD and social media have given women exponentially more options, which has fueled the flaking, but I’m curious if you have any in-set methods or strategies to increase the likelihood of the girl showing up for the date.

i am not Todd, but maybe you just caring about texting too much. don't text them long messages and pretend you didn't care if she texts you back. don't send her big amount of little messages either.

Try actually calling instead of texting and compare your results. Using facetime feature is also acceptable.

I don't think being significantly overweight is a minor inconvenience. In fact, I know being significantly overweight can be detrimental to your chances. Which I'm glad Todd offered the stipulation of hitting the gym and putting the fork down. The concept of these items being fixable errors is an important point. But I've gotta object to how he seemed to marginalize the issue and frame "game" as preeminent to everything. When I lost over 150-lbs, my entire world with regards to how people treated me changed. Up to the point I developed trust issues because it was as if the entire world was trying to get something from me all the time. My "game" didn't change. My "confidence" didn't change. It had to eventually, because I was making good impressions, but I struggled to make them stick, and this is where concepts like "game" come in. But my point is: improving my looks was PREEMINENT to having effective game and being able to connect with others more broadly. The result of this progression was seeing my confident hypertrophy (as opposed to atrophy). My point is a matter of sequence: you're only as good as your weakest link. Hopefully, that weakest link is fixable.
I have an incredible, 5 star personality. I built that over time to try and overcome my other issues. Problem is, life has really piled them up on me so now I feel like I have very , very few options. I’m really short, 5’2. I also was unlucky enough to get the bald gene too , lost my hair very early at 26 . I was in the military and was in better shape, but my family situation pushed me out of that so now I’ve gained some weight and have a gut that I hate . Getting older fast , I’m 38. My biggest issue though is I’m locked into a coparenting situation with someone who used to be my partner but now we really aren’t . I had a son with her , and I took her other two kids as my own , one of which was even born after my son during a time we were broke up. She doesn’t make hardly any money so everyone Relies on my support. Basically All these problems combined makes me pretty much as locked in as a person could be ; no one in their right mind would ever consider dating me. I’m a great conversationalist with a great personality, but my looks are trashed , I’m broke, and I have baggage because no matter how miserable I am I’ll always be there for my kids, they are more important then my happiness. I wish I could find a way to be happy too but I just do not see how this is possible . The kids will suffer if I leave , and I have so many problems and baggage it feels just hopeless . I’ve had a couple girlfriends here and there during all this but they understandably don’t last long. I’ve just kinda given up at this point and devoted my life to my kids but I always wish I could change it and at least still have a chance at being happy.

Todd, I have a very different insecurity than those you mention. I am not exeptionally good on any of the factors you mentioned but I am not the worst either. My insecurity is that I will have my social image suttered if I get rejected three or four times. I live in Europe in a 60 thousand people town. Not everyone knows each other but almost everyone knows each other. Getting rejected too often may very well affect my general social life eventually.... What can I do to overcome this insecurity ?

Real question...how many videos? And how many hours of these videos have you watched? And how many approaches did you do? And what are your results, experiences from them?
I started watching Todd in college when I was around 22 years of age. I became his disciple. That was over 10 years ago. It changed my life. I went from having little experience with women to dating my dream women. I learned how to approach. How to speak to women. How to carry a conversation and take the burden of it. How to set up dates and how to get women back to my place. The results were fantastic. I’ve been with some women I never thought I would be in my dreams. He is the sole reason I am married today as I found my wife by going out and gaming. It was a growing process and I still use many of his techniques in my own relationship. This man is like a brother or father figure to me. The shit works. If you work on this like learning to code of working out. You can change your life completely in 3-6 months.
I approached everywhere when I first started because I had some pretty bad social anxiety. I would practice by talking to both men and women in social settings whether during the night or day. I had several of his programs that are no longer around since he is not not a member of the group he used to be in which dissolved. I learned how to text women from him, I mean everything. I did countless approaches, several hundred before I was healed of my anxiety. Even before then the positive aspects of doing that completely changed who I was. Working out also helped. So did dressing appropriately. This shit works man. You just have to be willing to embrace the process.
I made friends, had flings, relationships and had some pretty awesome experiences. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner haha.
