Plenty of people still play it, and if you own a copy of the game you can still sign in, and you can still get all the new updates. One just came out that updated villager trading so they go to sleep at night and have a workstation to work at in the morning.
I like the minecraft streams! I typically use your streams as background videos for homework or chores. Chill enough to not feel like I've gotta be focused on every second, but entertaining whenever I do tune back in. The minecraft vids fit right in with that!
These are great streams while I'm at work. Never get to catch you live but listening in to these and other streams while I'm going about my day at my desk definitely make things more chill and make the day kind of sail on by. You could stream commentary on paint drying or waiting for kettle's to boil and it would still be enjoyable to watch/listen.
Your Minecraft creations are amazing! Really freakin' cool! A lot of people I'm subscribed to on TH-cam have also made their opinions on the new Sonic trailer quite clear. Some have just accepted the madness and I've had to console others so....its a mixed bag. i like how you have no redstone stuff to automate anything. LIke not even a "wood farm" which really you need a big source of bone meal for but setting up a skeleton farm is "not hard" and there's ways to make use of the new "composter though that takes way too long unless you "go big".
Since the subject of Luke streaming GTA 5 RP (also Jared and PBG once or twice), I wanted to mention something you might enjoy: during one of Luke's stream, someone floated the idea of a Survivor RP event. I don't know if you'd enjoy the RP in general, but Survivor seems like your type of event.
You can totally make your own skin, I play the windows 10 version so I had to like, look up how to change my skin since microsoft doesn't make it openly obvious you can add your own skin into the game. when you first open the game there's your little avatar, and then you have to choose the hanger underneath them, and then the 'choose new skin' button on the upper right. they did recently change it so less people will see custom skins but I still use one. I have a kind of fallout post-apocalyptic jumpsuit character that I use. And I really enjoy these! you're a much better builder than I am, I've played the game for years and am still getting my building skills better. so even though you don't know all the technical aspects of things(like mobs not spawning on half blocks as long as they're on the lower half of a block, fyi you can also mob proof with a layer of glass blocks or carpet, mobs will not spawn on either), but like, I'm still moving past the "build a box" level of building, like I challenged myself with a friend's server reset to actually build my house with concrete this time and it kind of...was a box. and I had to add stuff to it to make it less boxy. Also if you are looking for places to glean tips from, I cannot recommend Hermitcraft enough, everyone has been playing the game a really long time and I like watching their stuff just to pick up on things like how to mob-proof an area. For their nether hub this season/server reset, they built a 1:8 representation of their main island, then glassed the entire floor and added carpet in spots, it's pretty impressive and I absolutely love how it came out.
The Sonic movie wasn't meant for anyone but a board of executive that wanted to cash in on the wave Detective Pikachu started. It's hitting all the keyword they would say and that's it, it wasn't meant by someone with a creative drive to make A Sonic movie because they like it. The current backlash is only by fan and people that know Sonic but most of the people that will go there will be forced parent dragged by children or parent wanting a 'kid' movie for they children and to cash in them. The emoji movie was utter trash yet it made an absurd amount of money this way and also from people that went watching it as a joke knowing it was garbage since there's also a degree of statue for being a trash/Awful movie; Uwe Boll movies for example, especially House of the Dead, this movie pretty much is a good movie to watch for anybody wishing to become a director or working in the movie industries since it show almost every basic mistake to avoid in order to have a decent movie. (Proper cut, hiding traveling rail and wires etc)
alot of arcade videos on yt are really cringy and often some idiots trying to rig the youtube algorithms with arcade video after arcade video with bait thumbnails and sudo drama, they're a viewership gold mine but kind of a low hanging fruit imo
