This was really good, definetly a hard topic to tackle. I, as guy, do emphatize with what the listener's feelings in that situation. This make me feel like the speaker tends to unconsciously prioritize Blake over her SO, and Blake seems to not respect the boundaries the speaker has, as it was shown when she told him not to call her when she is spending time with her SO unless it is really important. Blake does respect the speaker but, at the same time, it seems like he doesn't care about what the listener may feel with the constant interrumption he does when they spent time together (va and her SO). That call was definetly the breaking point, if it were an actual emergency, it may not have scalated this much, but the content of the call and the fact that they were about to have a serious conversation before the call, it must have make the listener feel like he doesn't matter as much as Blake, hence getting frustrated and snappy. This was just a little fragment of the relationship and the interaction they had with each others, i just Made some assumptions that may or may not be right. Well, people do say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. This was really well done, can't wait for the next part.

I would compare it to typical brother/sister problem, when one doesn't respect other's boundaries. It will be kind of a spoiler, but this is something I want to talk about in part 3 as he clearly is in the wrong and needs to be reprimanded on this. I'm not going to say exactly how it will go, but everything you have mentioned will be talked about.
This audio definitely hits your emotions like a hammer, but this type of situation is also very real for people. My brother went through a similar situation with one of his girlfriends, where she had a "guy best friend" that wouldn't respect the boundaries of the relationship, and my brother gave her an ultimatum to either cut off contact or he leaves. She chose the breakup avenue.

I can relate so much with listener here, that feeling of, despite being the boyfriend seeing how one person constantly doesn't respect that kind of limits and somehow you seem to have less priority in the life of someone who says that love you. It dosnet have to be forever just untill the partner feels comfortable again, She should be able to do that easily but refuses that compromise very Very Hard, the partner of course should do the same if this was reversed.. her unwillingness to do so speaks volumes and she lacks the maturity to make the relationship into a longterm one, compromise is the way forward and how you maintain a good and healthy longterm relationship

In this video, it's more Blake's fault as he wants her to be a part of his wedding, but he is doing it in a very pushy way (by calling too early to talk about matters which can be talk about later, especially when she asked him not to bother her). But in overall scenario, both of them don't see a problem to be close because they are "like a family", which creates a very big, problematic misunderstanding to Listener and character's relationship. That will be definitely talked about in part 3 much more 😁

I don't believe in pure friendship between man and woman. Always at some point one of the two develops romantic feelings for the other, I have seen and read too many cases in which exactly that happens to believe otherwise. I have always believed that you must put yourself in someone else's shoes to understand the problem. By doing that you can see where that doubt or insecurity comes from and give it a solution. Good video and we'll see what happend in a posible part 3.

The thing is right, I don't feel like anyone is really in the wrong aside from Blake. It is 100% understandable that Listener would be weary of Blake. Blake kissed his girlfriend in a drunken stupor, and while they want to pretend it never happened and continue being buddy-buddy, this isn't something you can just sweep under the rug and forget about. Seeing your girlfriend continue to hang out with the guy you know for a fact has/had feelings for her, going so far as to kiss her, has to sting. He's got every right to be skeptical of the guy now. It's also 100% understandable that Speaker wouldn't want to cut ties with Blake. They've been friends forever and are practically family, they don't want one particularly bad incident to ruin that bond forever. Cutting him off forever wouldn't be easy or simple, even if it was potentially for the best. However though, even if her feelings are purely platonic, it's clear his aren't, hence how we got in this mess to begin with. It doesn't help that Blake is purposefully breaking set boundaries too, being told not to call unless it's an emergency and then calling anyway just to chat. I get Blake wanted her to be a Groomswoman, but that conversation could've happened the next day and nothing would've changed other than he'd actually have respected her wishes. And also Speaker and Listener would be cuddling happily instead of taking a break apart. In short, any way you slice it, Blake is the problem. Honestly, I think someone needs to ask what Blake's fiance's thoughts are on all this. Having to now be a bystander, having to watch your fiance's best friend's relationship fall apart because of something *he* stupidly did, that's gotta weigh heavy on the mind.

In this scenario: she was never kissed by Blake and she never want to be kissed by him. In her eyes, he is like a brother to her so the sole idea of being kissed is disgusting for her (and in this scenario, Blake also think the same way as her). So there was nothing romantic between them ever. The only thing that is a problem here is that Blake is very demanding of her (VA) attention and is annoying her, like a brother would annoy/bother a sister, absolutely not taking into consideration her requests or needs because he wants to bother her. I absolutely agree with your point of view and, if that would be the case that Blake ever kissed character (VA), situation would be much more complex and disturbing. But thankfully, they never did anything romantic towards each other. So, all of this is kind of misunderstanding, but Listener has every right to be upset with this situation as it looks suspicious to him. Which is why part 3 will be there in some time to finish this story on some note (don't want to spoiler how), so stay tuned 😁

Damn.. I agree we could've approached this issue better... But Blake is an inconsiderate prick, does he not have a partner of his own? Can he not relate? What if it was another man bff dping all that inconsiderate sh*t like calling when specifically asked not to and was told the reason why but still called her anyway. This makes my blood boil.
